Personality ● Calliope is friendly at the start with a rather transparent honesty where she doesn't like to beat around the bush. She is assertive into what she wants and has confidence in herself to get things done. Her manners are formal when it comes to dinner parties or meeting new people. Her discipline on herself is quite persistent. When it comes to Aisling, she is motherly and just wants what is best for her child, like most mothers. She is courteous when it is given to her and is somewhat of a risk taker. She can be sympathetic, but over all if she doesn't know you will be uncomfortable to be the shoulder to cry on but doesn't like showing her tears to others, hearing the legends of her tears can be used to make powerful magic. She can be flirty to get what she wants, but only takes a true connection for her to really be romantic. While she is a socialite toward other merpeople, she doesn't like to talk about her past much dealing with losing her daughter or the fact that her daughter is half siren.

Strengths
● Siren's Song: As a Siren, she has an amazing singing voice that hypnotizes people.
● Like a fish: Calliope is able to breathe under water as well as adapt to the waters
● Almost like Wolverine: Calliope is able to heal from regular injuries. In water, this speeds up her process, but has a hard time healing from fatal wounds.
Weaknesses
● Short end of the fin: With the pirate Declan, cutting off her fin, she isn't as great as a swimmer she once was.
● Spiteful: She is bias heavily on pirates, knowing some killed her sisters. She isn't sure if it was on accident or on purpose, but will not admit that part.
● Child of the sea: Being away from the water or any body of water can weaken her. This includes headaches, nose bleeds, fainting, dehydration and even death if no water is present.

Biography
● Calliope is the fourth of seven children. Her two eldest sisters were killed by pirates so she had a small vendetta against them. Though she wasn't quite sure who it was, she could always figure it out. Maybe it would take years, upon years, or seconds. Either way, she wanted to know who killed them. Calliope was born and grew up in Estherel and stayed there, befriending other merpeople. Years passed and she traveled to Pirates Cove, where she ended up working at the brothel there, cleaning up. Gross, but it payed well. There she met a pirate at the brothel. They had drinks, talked and even slept together. This went on for about a week and on the final day, she lured him by singing. When he drew his sword, she got scared and bit into his arm, taking his hand. However she was injured in the process where he took her fin. She made it out alive, but kept his hand as a prize. Another pirate would hopefully have problems swinging that sword.
Months later, she found out she was pregnant. The last person she slept with was the pirate and knew it was his. Months went by and finally she had her daughter Aisling, whom she did tell about her father, but vaguely, not really knowing too much about him. Calliope taught Aisling how to be a siren. Unfortunately it was cut short, when Calliope let her guard down and a net was thrown on her. Aisling was with her watching her mother fight with people who wanted her captured or dead. Calliope was injured in the process, and fainted from the trauma and adrenaline trying to escape so she could save her daughter. When she awoke the attackers were gone and so was her daughter. Calliope sought after her, even going to the community and asking if they seen her. The only hope was that Aisling ran away and got to safety. She quit the brothel when she got a good bit of money and returned to Estherel to try to get leads of finding her daughter.
