The pulse made her hair fizzle up, and the next thing she knew she had human finger and toes. What had happened? The first thing she tried to do was use her magic, access her pocket. But nothing worked. "Great, I should have stayed at home today...." She had to walk home. And her current form didn't come with shoes and made walking on the sidewalk weird. How did humans get around like this?
She couldn't get into the Negaverse in this form. She couldn't sense any other Guardians or anything for that matter. The only thing she could do was go home and hope Landry and Lori would believe it was her. It took her longer than it would have normally and she found herself a little out of breathe when she stood at the front door. She took a moment to catch her breathe and boldly knocked on the door.

Lori didn't have any crazy plans for the day. School was out for now and she didn't have any work to attend to. Instead of going out for one though, she had decided to spend the day at home with her brother. She really needed to do that more often. Though, they weren't particularly engaged in anything together. In fact, she was just sitting on the couch and carefully painting her toe nails.
She heard the knock on the door, but wasn't exactly in a position to answer it. She also wasn't sure what Landry was doing since she had Netflix on in the background and was engrossed in her own 'hard work'.
"Landry! Can you get that, please?"
