((This rp is backdated to the 19th May))It had occured to Liryn, in between trying to figure out the mystery behind his sudde transformation, that people generally didn't tend to go walking about in bare feet–
And so in the interests of trying to better 'blend' in and because he'd always wanted to try shoes, Liryn was now the proud owner of a pair of sandals courtesy of Arian's paypal account.
He'd left the rest of his outfit alone however as he kind of liked it and it wasn't like he'd been able to wear it very often in the past, but it had seemed a good idea to update Arian about the paypal spend and about the whole human thing in general given that his dark-haired friend had been staying at Anxo's apartment for the past few days–
That and maybe Arian might be able to help him puzzle out what was up with the whole inability to sense auras and the lack of his ears, tail and star.
However whilst Liryn knew where Anxo's apartment was, it was a fair way away from Orah's - particularly when going on foot - which in this case he was and so it was late afternoon by the time that Liryn finally made his way up towards the door.Kapoodles Sorry for the delay in getting this started Poods

It took a week or so, but Anxo finally managed to get a day off from the Cafe. Yes, he loved it there, and yes, he wanted to keep working and making the small place thrive, but that didn’t mean he didn’t get exhausted every now and then! Thankfully, a part-timer was finally hired, giving him a break from waiting tables and let him go back to his actual job, balancing the shop’s finances. Today, he was home, working away from the sweet smell of coffee and pastries, and tapped away at his laptop. Crafting, he wasn’t the best at, but numbers, those he was good at. It was easy to get lost within this work, and he was in the midst of it all when he heard something shuffling outside the door. He couldn’t actually remember if there had been a packaged ordered or not... And he wasn’t expecting any guests... Either way, he trotted to the door, and opened it, only to find.... Someone very teal before him. “Um... Hello. May I help you?” litian And sorry for how long it took me to tag!

He'd knocked, a simple triple rap against the door, before it occured to Liryn that perhaps it would have made more sense to have rang the doorbell instead–
Not that it seemed to matter, however, as it seemed that someone had heard him nonetheless as it didn't take long post his knocking for the front door to open.
Whilst a part of him had been hoping for Arian to be the one to open the door, Liryn looked up cheerfully at the familiar male looking at him with what - at least to him - appeared to be a puzzled expression.
"Hi Anxo" the cheerfulness was reflected in his voice as he asked, "Is Arian here?"
It only belatedly occured to Liryn that Arian's boyfriend hadn't actually met him as anything other than a cat - but by then he'd already addressed the other male by name.

This man seemed to know his name... Strange. It wasn't labeled anywhere on the door, nor on the mailboxes. And despite how often Arian came by, his name wasn't quite on the lease as well. Perhaps this man was someone Arian knew well enough to give his known location at times? Whatever confused expression he had only seemed to become even more so. "At this moment... No. But may I ask who are you? I don't recall meeting you before..."

"Oh." A small part of Liryn couldn't help but feel disappointed that Arian wasn't actually there, his shoulders drooping in the way that his tail would have drooped–
Well at least in the way that it would have drooped if he still had a tail.
He mentally shook the gloominess off, his purplish eyes gazing up at the other male who was still peering at him with a puzzled expression.
"Actually we have met before," and whilst the doorstep was perhaps not the best place for the conversation, it seemed to be pretty quiet at the moment "We've met over at Orah's apartment a few times." Liryn personally thought that it was probably as well that Arian had finally admitted to Anxo that he was a senshi, because even with him spending a lot of time over at HQ back then, it had been hard to avoid running into the other male.
Not that HQ was currently an option - at least not right now.
"Although I wasn't quite in this form" he admitted, before adding "I'm Liryn."

"... Have we?" Anxo was fairly certain he would have remembered someone who looked so colorful to have been in Orah's place... But he could have been mistaken. It was a little embarrassing to admit, but sometimes he truly seemed like he had tunnel vision when it was only him and Arian. His love for the man was deep, that was for certain. "... Liryn, like... The kitten?" Rather than continue this conversation like this, he stepped aside, allowing the stranger to come in. "Then... Do you perhaps mean.... Like a Mauvian?"

Had he still been in cat form then Liryn probably would have fluffed up somewhat at the 'kitten' comment, because he was so clearly an adult cat and not a kitten - well at least it was obvious to him.
He ended up wrinkling his nose as he was not in cat form however - although it probably didn't have quite the same effect.
At least it had had the effect of causing Anxo to step aside though, which was a bit of a relief - because although things outside seemed quiet enough, Liryn knew that out on the doorstep was probably not the best place for a conversation–
Well at least this particular conversation.
"Yes I'm Liryn - like the mauvian" Liryn said, as he decided to ignore the kitten comment, waiting to speak until he was inside and enough past Anxo for the other to be able to close the door.Kapoodles Apologies for the delay on this one Poods - I let the Star festival event eat me xD

“You are... Considerably bigger than I would have imagined you being, had you told me you were a Mauvian...” Once Liryn was inside, he closed the door, watching him with a careful, but concerned eye. “Hmm... I wonder why Arian never told me... He knows I’m a senshi too... His cute kitten was a Mauvian.... In a way, I should have expected it.”

"Arian probably assumed that you knew" Liryn said after considering it for a moment, because the star was generally kind of a giveaway–
Well at least normally it was, even if right now it kind of did not apply.
"He mentioned that you're a senshi too" purplish eyes looked up at Anxo curiously "Something about the two of you finding out after you both ended up getting snowed in during that storm that happened about a year or so back, but he never did mention the sphere."
He wrinkled his nose again at the kitten comment because he hadn't been a kitten in a while, "Actually I'm not a kitten - I'm fully grown - but yes some of us can access the other form and I'm one of them."
He hesitated for a moment before admitting "Actually that was kind of why I wanted to talk to Arian - well that and because I kind of borrowed his paypal account and figured that I should let him know before he gets round to checking his email."

"Honestly, I've never been the most observant of men. And... You should know that when I'm in the same room as Arian, it's hard for me to focus on anyone else. How could I not?" Just the very thought of him made Anxo grin, but he'd keep any more remarks of that nature to himself. "Ah, yes, I apologize. You certainly are full grown. That was rude of me. You can use my phone to call him if you'd like. But if you're a Mauvian, don't you have a phone?And... aren't you likely pushing out alot of energy? What of your ears and tail?"

Liryn gave Anxo an amused look, because Arian had mentioned the other's antics - well at least some of said antics. He'd gotten blushy over some of them too and refused to go into any details.
The amused look faded at Anxo's question.
"I do have a phone" he admitted and if he'd still had his ears then they would have been flicking "But I can't access it at the moment." Because his communicator was currently in subspace and for some reason he wasn't able to access anything from there.
"And I'm not picking up on any auras either."
He hesitated at the question about his ears and tail and then admitted "I don't know, but I'm trying to find out" because whilst having hands was useful, he didn't want to trade sensing auras and all the rest for them.
"And yes, I appreciate borrowing your phone. I'm hoping that Arian might be able to help me puzzle things out."

"It sounds like you're in one heck of a predicament. I'll help in any way I can." And the first step was grabbing his phone off his counter and offering it to the Mauvian. "I believe I heard something before about the Mauvian's having a secret base. Do you think others have tried to go there too to see what's happened?"

"Thanks" Liryn said cheerfully as he took the offered phone and started punching in the numbers to Arian's cellphone, because he appreciated the other's offer to help him get to the bottom of his predicament.
He paused at the other's mention of a secret base however.
"HQ?" Adding "It's possible" and it would normally have been the most logical place to go–
Normally.
Liryn reached up momentarily to tap his forehead with his right hand, right where his star should have been.
Should and wasn't.

"... Ah. Yes, that would be a problem now, wouldn't it?" That star was basically their key, right? Was he essentially a simple young man just like he was now? Minus the ability to power up? That must have been difficult... "Hopefully he answers... But is there anything you need right now? Something to eat? To use the restroom and clean up? New clothes? Mine are a little big, but I'm sure Arian has left something around here that might fit. If not, I can run and grab some of my brother's clothes from the cafe around the way."

Liryn paused inputting numbers momentarily, "I think I'm good for clothes" he said at last, because well he had clothes and even had shoes now - well ok they were sandals rather than shoes, but they were still foot coverings and thus would help him to better blend in "And I sorted out the shoe situation."
It should have perhaps occurred to the currently 'stuck' mauvian, that his outfit wasn't exactly something that could be considered normal and the more mundane sandals only served to make it look even more out of place–
But to Liryn they were clothes and clothes were clothes, besides he was kind of used to his outfit.
"Food would be great though" he said cheerfully.
