The Jade Soul Dojo
The Jade Soul Dojo is a highly spiritual place were Soul Society's elite combat students are sent to train. A secret location; known only to those in the Gotei Thirteen, high in the mountains is guarded by The Kobayashi family, The noble family in the district of the Rukongai where the dojo is located. While the destructive combat arts are honed here, it is also a place for meditation and discipline. Where physical growth is emphasized, but improvement of character and the purity of conviction is also tended to through rigorous exercise and relentless training.
The master of the Dojo is the family elder; Junichiro Kobayashi. He would appear to be a venerable old man, but he is actually the former Captain of Squad Eleven before he was deposed by The Kenpachi of Inuzuri. He was able to survive his defeat, and out of respect for the old man's tenacity, he was allowed to maintain his post as an Unseated, yet devastatingly powerful instructor.
