She probably shouldn't have been bringing a Negaverse agent to her home planet, in fact, she was fairly certain that Athalia would go completely nuts if he uncovered the truth. It had been him who had taught her how to do it and given his inclinations towards the Negaverse and Chaos itself, he wasn't the biggest fan of them to say the least. To him, the planets were special and incredibly valuable, in essence they were a part of that planet and to bring something into it that could kill it...
Well, yeah, she'd be in trouble.
Nevertheless there was one thing that her new found senshi friend wouldn't ever understand and that was that Fettelite was her friend, they'd made a promise to each other and she trusted him. This was something she wanted to share with him, Chaos or not, and if anyone was going to appreciate it as much as she did then it would definitely be him!
It was for this reason that she was waiting quietly at one of the corners near the park gate, a little rucksack slung over her shoulder and a chocolate bar in her hand. It would periodically come to her mouth so that she could take a bite, but for the most part the purpose for her loitering on this occasion was to meet up with her buddy and go on an adventure.
It was time for her to see where she had come from.
...Or a part of her from over a thousand years ago had come from anyway!

There was something always super nice about this time of year. Not too hot, not too cold, most days didn't end in being soaked to the bone with the summer rain. All in all, not too shabby of a day to be going on a patrol of sorts.
At some point, Fettelite had established a rather routine route when he went about his business, one that often had him run into one particular senshi that he was quite fond of! They would talk, and snack, and joke around, and it made some of those longer nights a little less stressful!
Tonight was one of those nights where he had gone out specifically to find her. No real reason besides wanting her company.
To his delight, it seemed like she wanted the same thing, for somewhere early on his route, there she was, almost as if waiting for him.
"Hello Dory! I was just looking for you! What's all that you got there?"

"This!" she pulled the bag forward and tapped it merrily before motioning to him and then to herself. "Is because you and I are going on an adventure," she explained. She readjusted the backpack in to a more comfortable position and grinned at her friend, it was pretty neat that they seemed to have a knack for locating one another when they needed to.
"A friend walked me through how to do the space travel thing," she clarified and placed her hands on her hips. In those moments she seemed proud, granted she hadn't tried to travel yet and had kind of, well completely, ignored the advice of the very individual who had told her how to do it. His instructions had been quite specific, in fact they were always specific and that was just how he functioned, but she'd conveniently forgotten what they were beyond 'focus'.
"So I figured you and I could maybe go see what it's like," she conceded. She had promised that they'd do it once she worked out how and now was as good a time as any. Sure she didn't know what they'd find (hopefully nothing dangerous), but it was an experience that needed to be shared and who better than Fettel!

"Whaaaaaat, an adventure?!" It was all so sudden! He wasn't ready! He forgot to tell Nat he'd be going out on his own, and forgot to pet the little Chinchilla Dusk goodbye! But... Wait.
If it was an adventure, he couldn't have imagined it would be very long, right? If it got too late, he could always teleport them back home!
And.. Well, he loved adventure!
"Wait!! Wait, you can go to space now?! Oh geesh, that's so freaking cool! Have you gone already? Are you an expert? Oh geesh, can we breathe in space?!" Fettelite was gushing at a mile a minute, words flying out in cannon shots! If he hadn't been bouncing before when he came up, he certainly was now.
"I am so ready!! Wait, wait, Maybe I'm ready! Do I need to get anything? I got some snacks in my space pocket, but should I get more? I should probably use the bathroom before we get started, huh? Cuz I don't think bathrooms are in space. But oh my god, what if there are?!"

Were their bathrooms in space? To be fair it was a valid question but she hadn't exactly asked Athalia that. She'd been more interested in other things like you know... Air, water, food... You know, all those things that were important for not dying.
"I can...well I think I can," she wrinkled her nose. "He said I should just know, if I listen hard enough I'll hear it and then I'll find my way there...?" She shook her head. She wasn't particularly good at this listening thing and Athalia had made it sound painfully easy. Knowing him it probably was easy, but she'd have to wait and see if she found it challenging or not.
"I'm supposed to be able to bring people," she added and motioned to Fettelite. "So obviously that means you!" she grinned and shook her head. "But um, he said I probably shouldn't stay too long the first time, I don't really know why but I think we'll probably be there and back again before anyone knows we're gone... you know?"
...Well, maybe Negaverse Generals could tell when their troops poofed, but if he was worried about family they'd probably be fine.
"All you need to do is hold on and then I need to do magicky stuff like you did in the Cinnabon that one time," she finished and held out her hands.

”Ah, well then, I think you’re well prepared, huh? It kinda sounds like how we teleport, ‘cept more spiritual like. It makes sense though, since that’s your home away from Destiny City, special connections.” It was a really cool idea that crossed his mind, having something that close to his heart, and only his.
Being a Nega, you couldn’t have that. And he heard that if he had purified, he’d be a knight, so it still wouldn’t be something all his own. Somehow that made him sad, but he ignored it and happily took Dory’s hands.
“Alright, I’m ready! Wait, who’s he? Did you make another friend?”

"Oh, I met another senshi... Older guy," she shrugged.
He wasn't quite meat shield material like they'd both discussed, she found him to be a huge nag and he tended to ruin the mood a lot, but he was more studious than she was so getting information had become slightly easier? She supposed it helped that he'd been briefed way more than she had, although that may have been in part because he either asked more questions or the Mauvian had been more forthcoming. She wasn't sure which it might have been but on this occasion it had served her well.
...She wouldn't admit that she'd been getting her a** beat by him for the last few weeks to get her in to shape. Her pride was a little hurt by that one, he hadn't been shy about telling her that she did kind of suck at this and it was a miracle she hadn't been killed yet.
"He's stuffy but he seems to know some of the stuff I don't so..." she shrugged and gave a smile. Rather than wait around though she grabbed both of Fettel's arms, took a deep breath and closed her eyes. If this worked out the way he was supposed to then things were just kind of meant to happen, all she had to do was listen and answer.
It seemed like it took a few seconds, but eventually she seemed to hear it, the faintest of whispers and then they were gone. Drifting weightlessly until they descended slowly, and very carefully, onto what could only be described as a wasteland.
There was nothing here as far as the eye could see and it seemed to be in a state of almost permanent dusk, but that did allow her to see the stars above her head and one very foreign and large, moon (or was it a planet) that seemed to loom over the very spot that they stood on.
At least the place had an atmosphere.
She did however look more than a little disappointed as she lowered herself to the ground to gather herself though. Evidently, much like Fettelite, this 'teleport' thing didn't seem to go well for her. She probably wasn't supposed to bring someone else with her.

"Ooh! That sounds nice! I'd like to meet him som---" Before he could finish everything he was planning on saying, Fettelite was suddenly whisked away!
In a moment, it started, and in a moment, it ended, leaving him turning his head every which way to fully absorb the situation.
"Ooh my goodness! Is this it? Is this Adorea?"

"I... think so?" She didn't sounded entirely convinced herself as she brushed the toe of her boot against the dust. There didn't really seem to be anything here? Sure, the view above them was scenic but everything else was very empty. In hindsight, maybe she should have asked what Athalia had found when he'd gone, was it supposed to look like this or had she done something wrong?
"I can't go anywhere else so I guess this is the place," she admitted and pursed her lips.
"There's not really much going on is there?" she mused and took a few steps forward. For now they were in the middle of nowhere, but maybe if she picked a direction and walked then they'd find something. If there was supposed to be something special here she couldn't sense it anywhere and she certainly couldn't feel it, but they had only been there a few seconds.
"If all these planets are dust bowls I can kind of see why everyone left," she added with a sigh.
...Ah, but how little she knew.

"You've seen some of those movies right? Like.. Uh.. The Mummy! Or Indiana Jones! Ignoring the scary part, you can think maybe there's a secret tunnel somewhere under ground!" ... He'd ignore the fact that some of those movies took years and years of archaeological digging in order to find anything. They were magic, so surely there had to be some magic that could open up their way in, just like Aladdin and that weird kitty tunnel.
His foot shifted around, moving some of the dust around to see if there was anything under his foot.
Nope.
"I've heard stories that sometimes it was calamities... or sometimes people just didn't want to be here anymore. One Knight told me that his past life fell in love with another knight, and the one knights wonder got abandoned because he moved in with the other Knight. Maybe you have a sweet love story tucked in here somewhere too!"

"Huh..." she sounded thoughtful as Fettelite mused over why her planet might look as it did. She had to admit that she was impressed by just how much he did know and she was hopeful that some of it might be right. The fact that the place she was supposed to have come from had died somehow was really quite sad. Was there even any way to make it better, to breathe life into it, or was it just stuck like this forever?
"I wonder what happened here then," she agreed and raised a brow. "I guess we'll just have to look around?" she hazarded as she gave the sand a poke with her foot herself. She wasn't so sure they'd find much here, it was as if she'd landed somewhere almost entirely useless, but maybe if she could refocus and land somewhere else then they would find something cooler.
...Was that even possible?
She'd have to investigate if she could do that and then maybe they could explore some tombs, or ruins, or just something. Anything would be more interesting than sand at this point.
"At least the view is neat," she conceded as she stared at the gigantic moon-planet thing, she'd never been great at astronomy and she wasn't entirely whether she was on the moon and that was the planet, or vice versa.
"Not sure I would appreciate it if my very own planet's champion upped and left and killed everything as a result," she winced. "Kinda hope whoever was here before me didn't do that, you know?"

"Mhm, really neat! I'm jealous! Negaversers don't have anything like this. A place we call our own. But I'm sure you're right, it's gonna be something simple like your past senshi simply fell in love and was swept away to explore the galaxy! Wouldn't that be super sweet?" It felt like something right out of those cheesy love stories he found himself loving so much!
He could see it now in his mind, a fancy soldier finding their way here, sweeping up the senshi into their arms and just running away together.
Away from obligations and the pain of ruling, or the stress that came with having a whole planet depend on you.
Honestly, Fettelite could say for certain that he would give up his own world for love, as awful as that was.
"Ooh, I gotta ask, do you have someone you have a crush on right now? Oooh, or even better, dating? You're so cute, I bet you do!"

"Me?" She seemed amused by the question and sure enough, a peal of laughter came from her lips. She hadn't really given dating much of a thought even if her peers had. In fact, the vast majority of her class mates did seem to have someone who'd caught her eye but for some reason she'd never quite invested her time in it.
Not that she wasn't open to it, she could admire a hot guy when she saw one, but pursuing them and humouring the amount of time it might take to develop a relationship hadn't been something she'd been inclined towards. Obviously in time that would probably change, particularly if the 'perfect one' entered her line of sight but as of right now...
"Nah," she shook her head and smile. "Nothing like that for me right now, I'm pretty quiet on that front," she admitted and shrugged her shoulders. "Most of the guys in my classes are taken and let's be real, it's not as if this part time job we've both got going helps out much with that either," she grinned.
"Although I'm assumin' you do, eh?"Kapoodles Wtf, I have vivid memories of replying to this thing, I even remember what Dory said and it isn't here. ><

"Nothing wrong with that! It feels weird thinking about having a relationship with someone who isn't powered. How could you keep a secret this big from them? It seems unfair, especially if you have to suddenly change your plans because something more drastic shows up. You can't always control what's going to happen, so... Maybe it's for the best?" Then again, he had been powered long before his own love had joined him, to the point where it did become a point of contention.
He shook his own head clear of those thoughts. No matter what had happen, he had become better for it.
"I... Yes, Yes I do! He is so very sweet to me... Can you imagine, someone, like.. .Like a prince charming, pulling you out of a bad situation and taking care of you? Loving you? Even if you don't deserve it? That's the kinda guy he is. Even if he's kinda super cold to other people, he's sweet and loving to me... So... Yes, I do!"

"I don't know..." Adorea pursed her lips thoughtfully.
"If I knew it was going to be something serious and long term I would probably just tell them," she admitted. She hadn't really given it much though, eventually that might change, but in the grand scheme of things if she decided that she'd found the one then they'd deserve to know. Sure, having someone in the same 'group' as her would have been useful but that wasn't the most probably of things.
"It would get hard to explain the injuries after a while," she pointed out. She hadn't been subject to any extreme damage recently and she'd gotten away without the sprains as well, but every now and then she took a few too many knocks and that would cause questions in the end. She'd sooner have someone she trusted to come home to, someone who understood, and someone who didn't mind cleaning her up after too.
...Although she would have to keep their identity very close to her chest.
Nevertheless the news that a certain someone did have his intention made her smirk and she peered at him nosily. Honestly, his revelation was significantly more interesting than this dust bowl. Given she was fairly certain nothing interesting would happen here, there was no question of where she would have preferred her question to be.
Even has they picked about in the 'sand', occasionally kicking at it on the off chance something might be buried...
"What do you mean you don't deserve it?" she pressed and raised a brow. "Everyone deserves a happy ending," she pointed out.
