His little escapades seemed to be working, he'd made enough of an inconvenience of himself that he was starting to get a name of himself. Sure he didn't know exactly what was being said about it, but every now and then a wayward Negaverse agent that crossed his path would release a groan of frustration. For now he'd been lucky, each Negaverse agent he'd faced had been of a similar power level to him, but in time, that was likely to change...
Nevertheless until such times as that did occur, Athalia had elected to continue with his normal routine. He would continue to prowl as normal, continue to intervene and when necessary he'd use force to get rid of the particular issue. Whether it was youma or agent was now irrelevant to him, with both regarded as a threat there was little reason for him to differentiate between either of them.
Until the agents ceased in their practices he would continue to pursue them and when they had finally conceded defeat (or simply been removed from the equation), he would work towards exterminating the eldritch horrors that seemed to be almost infinite in number!
He, and any other who might be out this evening could at least enjoy the mild weather though. With the sky clear he was able to admire the the view from above and at least savour some of the small pleasures in life despite his purpose for being out this late...

It was another night of energy gathering for Chambersite. For some reason he was feeling nice tonight and had decided to beat the crap out of a group of muggers for fun and then drain them. Sure, it wasn't what he was taught at Romano's, but he wasn't there anymore now was he? He was a full-fledged agent of the Negaverse after having graduated from there and a Captain to boot. He felt almost invincible. Almost. Of course he knew that there were others out there who were more powerful than he was, but that didn't mean he had to avoid them all the time. Usually when he ran into someone like that he would rile them up a little and then run away, glad that he could finally teleport. Still, tonight he had seen some muggers targeting a couple of teenagers who had just been trying to make their way home and he decided he would be nice and help them. Sure, the muggers thought they could take him. After all, he was just one person, but unfortunately for them, he was stronger than normal humans and well, he had a dagger. Which he had used several times. He wasn't sure if he had hit anything that could kill in moments, but if he did, then no great loss, right? Her was in the middle of draining one of the muggers after having beaten the rest of them into unconsciousness when he felt the aura of an Order character. He rolled his eyes but continued to drain them, feeling safe in the alley that he was in. The Order character was of a lower level and well, he had gotten plenty of energy. He would just have to go out another night if he didn't get everything now, which was fine with him!

"How charitable," His remarks came out as a drawl and a slow clap soon followed as the senshi strode in to view. He hadn't been able to intervene in the worst of it, but he had witnessed what had occurred from a distance. Had it not been for what happened after the Agent had helped the teenagers escape then he might have been given a pass for the evening... Instead, the further steps taken to drain his targets required Athalia to act.
He came to a halt a short distance away, finally ceasing his clapping as he kept his palms pressed together. Lips pursed into a thin line he settled briefly to glance at the mess that had been left behind. On this occasion it seemed he was faced with an individual who was not shy about causing serious injury, there had been weapons involved here and despite their ill judged occupation some of those that lay prone did require aid.
"The effect is cancelled out quite a bit when you try to kill people though," he continued at last and motioned towards the more injured. He had half an eye on the drained, but bruised ones and more of one on those who had taken more than just a bruising.
"Might I suggest you give back what you stole? You are no better than they are in your current state."

Chambersite wanted to roll his eyes at the Senshi as they had revealed themselves. If they had stayed hidden, then they might have actually surprised him. But they didn't and instead he got to see what he was going up against. He quickly wiped some, what he thought was blood, off of his face and turned to face his opponent. "Charitable? Not trying to be. It's just a bit more fun if they deserve it." He said, wonder if they would all make it. "Besides, they can afford to lose a bit of energy. Not like we need them walking around at this point anyway." He was sure that some of his fellow Agents committed the same types of crimes, and worse, but he didn't feel the same satisfaction draining innocents as he did draining those who had hurt others. At least not yet. He dispelled his dagger for the time being. He didn't usually like to use it. It was too sure for his liking and he would have much rather had a proper sword. Still, it was a good little distraction and good for giving him a bit more reach to hurt an opponent than he usually would have. For now though, he would be willing to face this guy, even if he did have 10x the amount of muscle he did. Perhaps they would be on the same power level now? That would be interesting!

"Quaint, but really not your place to be metting out justice," Athalia replied. He remained unimpressed, regardless of whether or not a part of him accepted Chambersite might have a point, the rule of law had to be respected. While some may have instigated the activity and others may have actually done the damage, there was every possibility that one or two of them had simply been in with the wrong group of people and they were now prone on the floor for no other crime than association.
Whatever the true case might be, Athalia was all too aware that on this occasion he just didn't have the time for niceties. If this particular agent had been using that dagger of his then the possibility that someone would die tonight remained a distinct possibility.
"There's a system in place for addressing your concerns," he added and shook his head.
"However, given you have left me with very little time to address these particular issues the right way, I'll give you one chance to turn around and leave... Otherwise, you shall be made to leave," he warned.
If he had to choose between fighting and preserving the lives of those on the ground then he would choose the 'right' choice today, that being said, Chambersite wasn't guaranteed to agree and if he still had matters to attend to here then there was every chance that this agent would have no intention of doing what he was told...

Chambersite couldn't help but shake his head and smile. "There's no justice to be met out really. And the system," He took a look at the Senshi, wondering if that was a hint towards something. He looked like he could be an officer but well... one couldn't be sure. And he wouldn't recognize him on the street anyway. "well, I very much doubt they would have found anything on these guys. Too many other, more important investigations to be done you know?" He said, implying that these types of crimes were routinely ignored. But well, he couldn't resist a fight against a Senshi either. "You're going to have to make me then. I very much like collecting energy and you are currently in my way of doing so." And with that Chambersite used his signature attack against the Senshi! He threw the dagger at him. Whether or not it actually hit wasn't the point. Sometimes he missed his little turnip toy. The dagger meant it would eventually become a useful weapon and he wouldn't be able to throw it anymore like he usually did. But the distraction was just too tempting to resist! With that move, he then teleported to the Senshi's left side, ready to throw out an attack!

Ah, so he was one of those types. Athalia knew them will in his civilian life and to be fair to Chambersite there were things that slipped through the cracks... That still didn't mean that he had the right to make up his own rules to deal with them though.
He was forced to set those thoughts aside though, any opportunity for debate had long passed when the knife came hurtling towards him. A combination of luck and a little speed ensured that the knife didn't stick to him at the very least. He swept his arm up to guard, and in those moments, the dagger smacked into the golden ringlets on the upper portion of it.
...Now that was not something he could rely upon again.
Despite deflecting the worst of the blow though, the dagger did ricochet off the ringlets and managed to clip several parts of his arm as it fell to the ground. While not deep, the shallow cuts were enough to cause his nose to wrinkle. That arm would smart for a while, but he wasn't exposed just yet...teleportation or not the agent still left a signature and that flashed up behind him mere moments later. It was just enough time for him to twist round, and, using the momentum in his legs, direct a high slung kick towards his foe.
How often could these agents teleport anyway? He knew they had powers, he didn't know the limits of them.

It was one of the few times that Chambersite had found himself against an opponent who actually knew how to fight. The leg had been a surprise and had managed to hit him in the chest. Still, Chambersite wasn't seeing stars just yet. Even if he was smaller, he was still a Captain and he still had some endurance to take the kick. He managed to stumble away to the side of the kick and summon his dagger again, this time aiming straight toward the leg with his left arm, though figuring that the Senshi would probably be able to dodge his attack again. Still, he couldn't help but feel that this was sort of... exciting? Even if his opponent didn't have "mercy" on their mind, most of the Senshi that Chambersite had come across seemed so reluctant to actually fight, that he almost had to force them into it. To find someone who was willing... it certainly made things more interesting!

It was now or never, Chambersite was simply too close for him to dodge. Increased speed and strength may have been something he'd been gifted with in this form, but sometimes the cards just didn't fall that way. If he was going to avoid injury then his abilities were going to have to work. If it failed then he was going to end up with a dagger in the arm and a series of injuries he'd have such fun explaining to his colleagues in the morning.
It was for this reason that he pulled his arms across his chest and braced - given his explosive tendencies this could either work or go very poorly for him, he needed to err on the side of caution but he also didn't have time to mentally psyche himself up either.
He had to do what Cybele had advised, he just needed to be.
"Herculean Shield!" he snapped, summoning forth the magic from his source. At first it didn't look like it was going to work, but perhaps that delay had been his imagination. The air around him flickered to life and sure enough, those shimmering wings appeared in front of him, erecting a glowing shield that looked quite similar to the iridescent wing coverings that one could find protecting a beetle's wings!
When that dagger hit, it would be met by the shield and not Athalia's flesh - he'd been lucky this time.Sailor Scout Attack: Herculean Shield Radius: Self (Personal Buff, 180 Radial) Duration: 25 Seconds Limitations: This shield can be hard to break for other basic stage characters, moderately breakable by 2nd stage characters and easily breakable by 3rd stage characters. This shield will fall much more quickly in a concentrated attack by numerous opponents regardless of their rank. Number of Casts: 3 Times per Battle Full Details: Athalia draws upon his source to shield himself from the next barrage of assaults. In calling out to the source, he erects two large, ethereal scarab wing carapaces to shield incoming damage.
This carapace will protect him from significant damage for the duration of the ability, ensuring he can weather significant damage before it's necessary to retreat; any allies that take cover behind him will be shielded for the duration of the assault.
The shield is no more than 7ft high and 6ft in diameter at any given time.
This ability can be countered by flanking Athalia as it's radius is a frontal 180 cone; his back remains exposed.

It was too late for Chambersite to change his attack when the Senshi yelled out and the dagger hit the shield. That wasn't the part that hurt though, it was the way his arm twisted as the dagger was reflected and unfortunately the grip on the dagger had been very tight, which meant quite a twisting. "S***!" He said, cradling his arm as he looked at the Senshi. Unfortunately it appeared that their back was too a wall, which meant no teleporting unless he wanted to try to see if he could survive getting half-stuck inside of a wall. It looked like the Senshi wouldn't be able to do much while the shields were up, but it didn't mean that his arm would be recovered in time. It was another situation that he might have to run from, and as much as he hated it, he knew that he had to cut his losses sometimes and he wouldn't win every battle. Besides, he had gathered enough energy. He could leave if he wanted to. It annoyed him though, and he wondered if he shouldn't start learning how to be ambidextrous so that if a situation like this were to happen again then he could still use one of his arms to fight. He growled. He wasn't sure if he was angrier at himself or the Senshi. With his other arm, he summoned his weapon back to him, and moved a few feet away, so once the shields were down and the Senshi decided to attack, Chambersite might be able to teleport behind him and do an attack that way. He only had one more shot at this before he would have to call it quits for the night.

Holy s**t! It had worked!
If it wasn't for the fact he was in the middle of a battle he'd have done a moderately gleeful dance. This was the first time his shield had stayed up for longer than a few seconds. Admittedly it feel far more quickly than it should have, he instinctively knew it should have been up for longer than the 15 seconds it had been, but he had at least made some measure of improvement in the time he'd be awakened.
He'd been granted a reprieve, but as he regarded his opponent he made a note that he could not take credit for the damage that had been done to Chambersite's wrist. On this occasion that had been poor luck on the agent's part, Athalia couldn't have planned for that and he definitely couldn't rely on it to happen again.
If Chambersite was smart, he'd probably go away and muse over how to avoid that in the future.
Was this guy ambidextrous or did Athalia now have him at a disadvantage? The senshi wasn't sure, but for now he did at least have him injured and that should be taken advantage of. In a world where light and dark were in constant turmoil he didn't have time to be honourable or compassionate. Chambersite took pleasure in what he did and the senshi couldn't risk him sticking around to play more.
Without further hesitation the senshi lunged forward and braced himself, his arm drawn backwards his intend was to land another punch, but from his posture it did seem to indicate that he might have just enough dexterity on this occasion to feint out if the dagger came at him again. That didn't mean it would work, Chambersite could still be fast enough to land his blow, Athalia was just taking a gamble against the fact that he was injured and perhaps a little bit ticked off.
Sometimes the angry were often the most dangerous and he was about to find out which one of these Chambersite may be.

The next time that Chambersite had been able to look up after looking at his wrist again, the Senshi was now charging at him. The only good thing about all of this was that he had collected enough energy for the week. But now he had to retreat because some Basic Senshi had hurt him enough to make him realize that if he continued this, his wrist would need more than just a day to heal. Chambersite quickly teleported a few feet of the way, stumbling a bit as one foot landed on a bag of trash and the other on one of the bodies. Somehow he had managed to stay on his feet and he decided to get one last taunt in, throwing the dagger once again at the Senshi. He then made a run for it. He would have teleported right from there after jumping on one of the rooftops and then to another, but he knew he couldn't do much more. All he could do was get out of the Senshi's way and have enough time to teleport to the castle where he would have to take a serious sleep to regain all of the energy he had used with all of the teleporting. It seriously annoyed him and made him that much more determined to become a General as soon as he could. When he felt he was far enough away, he summoned his weapon to his side once more, and used the last of his energy to teleport himself to his room in the castle, glad to be rid of the Senshi... for now at least. Epine de Rose Last post from me! Thanks so much!

He'd won?
Evidently the injuries to Chambersite's wrist had been his saving grace, Athalia knew better than to be arrogant over that win. If Chambersite hadn't made that small error this story could have been very different and that dagger could have been somewhere he'd rather it wasn't. Alas, as Chambersite made a run for it Athalia was forced to act, hissing as the dagger soared passed him and clipped against his neck.
Now that was going to leave a mark and it wasn't going to be an easy one to explain either.
Nevertheless by the time he'd spun round to locate the agent he was long gone and Athalia was left on his own. He'd live to fight another day, as would Chambersite, and in time it was inevitable they would cross paths again. Athalia was going to need to be ready for that because his opponent could very well learn from that little mistake.
With the area now 'safe' though, the senshi had little other choice than to render aid to the fallen. With the blood stymied for now, he called for the ambulance and quickly bailed. If there was one thing he couldn't be found around it was this, but he could guarantee they had a greater chance of survival. He'd done his duty for now, but this event had reminded him that some of the Nega genuinely were a little more dangerous than others.
