Personality ● Declan is a bit of a stubborn mule as some call him. He can hold a grudge well and seek vengeance even easier. He can be cruel and at times an a**. But what some don't realize is that he is actually a great guy, one that likes to be around people. To encourage those in his crew to do their best. One who would rather simply sail and attack the rich than attack a small town with nothing to give. Several of his crew came from remnants of attacks from unmarked pirates.
He longs for the day that he finds the Siren who stole his hand, the day he can enact revenge on her and her kind. But until then, he remains as he is.

Biography
● Declan is the second born of the Ishgar children. He was hidden away as a child in order to protect him from his Father's wrath. His mother and twin sister had returned home without him, leaving with a friend of his Mother. Shortly after he was taken in, the woman who cared for him died, leaving him to survive without anyone for several days. When he was found, the boy was severly malnourished and on the verge of death. A pirate found him and did what he could to bring him back to health. Raising the boy the pirate noticed Declan was more than just a normal human. It was confirmed the day Declan came home with a crow, one only Declan could understand. He had the makings of Warlock and the Pirate knew that. He focused on teaching Declan how to be the best Warlock and the best Pirate at the same time. Shortly after turning fifteen, Declan and the ship he sailed on had a run in with an unmarked pirate ship. His father was slain and Declan was on his way to being so until he cursed the pirates that attacked him. They all took the appearance of oceanic animals before being released into the water. The surviving crew both in awe and in fear of the man swore their loyalty to him and from then he became Captain.
Years passed and Declan soon found himself falling in love. Or so he thought. They were docked at Pirate's Cove for a short while and he met a girl at the brothel. They talked, spent a great deal of time together, drank, slept together and got to know each other the week he was there. At the end of the week, they had been by the water when she started to sing. He fell for the song, his guard down as she led him into the water. A nagging voice at the back of his head told him to wake, to push the voice to the back of his thoughts. He was waist deep in the water when he came to. Pulling his sword, he was about to attack the creature before him and she bit into his arm. Immense pain and seering commenced as he watched her tear his hand from his arm. He watched as she tried to swim off. With his free hand, he managed to swing the blade at her tail, knocking it into one of his fins. The fin came off and he took it as his prize as she did his hand. He got fixed up, replacing his hand with a hook of all things before returning to the sea, changing the name of his ship from the Dark Rose to the Savage Siren. He began to hunt Sirens, following their songs and capturing them, looking for the one who stole his hand.
More years passed and he found himself moving up the ranks of Pirate Captains. Shortly after his 24th year, he found himself a member of the Pirates council, a status worthy of someone with great accomplishments as a pirate. He didn't feel worthy at first but in time found he liked the position. Declan has never wanted to know his past, not knowing who he was or where he came from.
