Crest Details: Blue represents Loyalty, Purple represents Patience in Battle. The eagle represents their protection & strength.

Estherel is the eldest of the three kingdoms. The founding family ruled bravely for several centuries before a coop put in place by the current Estherel royal line and the people of Ishgar. The original royal family fought hard and ended up committing mass suicide. All but the youngest member of the family died. After the burial of the family, the young child was raised by the Estherel family, a Lady in their kingdom, a servant to the newest Princess. After the Clash of the Kingdoms, the Marriage that ended in death, many people of Estherel expected she was responsible.

The people of Estherel have had problems with the people of Ishgar for longer than the Marriage that ended in death. They had never approved for the second kingdom to rise and since held a grudge against the Ishgar empire for taking part of their kingdom without permission.

The Estherel Royals rule firmly. They stick to their laws and expect their people to do the same. They tend to aide who they can in order to keep a decent and loyal kingdom. Many of the peasants of Estherel trust the royals to a point that when the royals say jump they simply do it. No questions asked.

~*~

As many suspect, Merpeople reside in Estherel's ocean. They are very hidden creatures, only dealing with humans when they absolutely have too. Unlike most stories you hear, the Merpeople are not always beautiful. They can change their shape to suit their environment. They can even grow legs to walk among mortals. There are three type of merpeople.

The Sirens, the merpeople who can persuade a lowly sailor to die for them just by singing a few notes reside near the rocky shores of the Esta Cliffs. They sing in hopes of luring entire ships to their doom. They have succeeded multiple times and like legend speaks, they wind up playing with the sailors before killing them.

The Guards, the merpeople employed by the Estherel navy. Their safety i guaranteed in Estherel's village by the amount of work they do for them. A young Merman must serve a total of five years in the Estherel Navy to gain complete status of an Estherel villager.

The Fishers, the merpeople who fish for the people of Estherel. They bargain in the town market to sell their catches and increase their popularity with the townspeople. Most Fishers are merpeople who have already served their time as Guards.

Another creature that lives in Estherel are the Elvish. Estherel Elves owe their lives to the Estherel royal family. Many elvish communities were wiped out in the Great War. But a few colonies survived, taking refuge in the forests of the kingdoms and seeking aide in the kingdoms. There are two types of Estherel Elves.

The Servants. These are the lowborn elves. They tend to serve royalty and nobility without question. These servants can spent a lifetime in servitude or make a contract. At the end of the contract, an Elvish person will inherit a piece of Royal land to live on and run on their own. It would never be repossessed and because of their years of servitude, said Elvish person would never be taxed. This contract is only binding for the one Elf however. If they were to wed or to have children, all of the members of the family would enter into the contract to serve the Royal Family.

The Sun Elves. These elves worship the Sun Goddess Ceresta. One of two sister Goddesses. The Sun Elves believe Ceresta is the reason the sun rises everyday and always celebrate her coming (Sunrise) and her going (Sunset) with great feasts. These elves take on the promise of abstinence, only ever partaking in sexual activities under certain circumstances. When they are bound to each other (Marriage), and certain Elvish holidays (There are two holidays in which the Sun Elves lock themselves in their Temple for said acts).

The kings of Ishgar always seem to get madder and madder. Since the Marriage that ended in Death; it seemed to get worse. The people of Ishgar are under total lockdown. They are not allowed to leave the Kingdom without permission from the Royal Family.

The current King is said to be the worst by far. Having had six wives and no male offspring, it is said that he kills each wife that has given him a daughter or no child at all. Many rue the day he decides to take a new wife, fearing for the life of the woman he chooses to wed, praying she will indeed give him a male heir.

The creature that inhabits Lynnia Peak are the Dwarves. Inside the mountain they live without the need for human interaction. Though they have a deal with the Ishagr kingdom, providing them with armor and weapons in exchange for being left alone. There are three types of Dwarves.

The Ranger. These Dwarves are specially skilled in protecting the Peak. They are trained from a young age to shoot a bow, crossbow, spear, any combat weapon they can use in battle. These Dwarves are the ones that tend to know what's happening in the real world.

The Miner. These Dwarves mine the mountain, spending much of their day chopping away at the rock inside the mountain, sending it to the blacksmiths for their weapons and armor.

In the Istae Forest resides one type of Elf. There are three kinds of Wood Elves. They despise human kind and are often known to end the life of lone travellers. Unless they can find a use for them. Shunned by the people of Ishgar, they stick to themselves. Unlike their Estherel Counterparts, they hate the fact that the humans aided in their restoration. There are four tribes (Sonul, Notra, Esmun, & Wista)

The Hunter. They hunt 8 to 9 hours daily in the Istae forest. They bring home food for the rest of their tribe and are taught from a young age to hunt.

The Sage. Also known as the Healers, they are hand chosen to pursue the connection with the Gods. To learn healing ways of Sages past and to help the Elves of their tribe stay healthy.

The Sacrifice. Once a year, four elves are chosen between all of the tribes to be made the sacrifice to the Gods to ensure a prosperous year. They are fed, celebrated, and clothed in the way of the Gods before being taken to the Temple in the Mountains to be drowned, burned, stoned, and hung. Thiis is the one week where the Wood elves, the Sun elves, and the Moon Elves will join together to celebrate their gods. It is said when a set of twins are born into one of the six tribes that they are blessed by the Twin Goddesses themselves. The families of these children are held in high regard.

The Sonul Elves are the more peaceful elves. It's easy for them to take humans and release them, not wanting the wrath of the kingdom on them. Notra elves are the largest group; their numbers nearing 200. Esmun elves are the most barbaric, keeping the heads of the humans they slaughter as trophies. The Wista elves are the smallest group, a plague nearly wiping out their entire clan.

In the desert canyon resides the Dragonborn. These creatures thrive in the warm sunny climate but can fall ill very quickly in colder climates. The Dragonborn used to be a fierce race. Their wings were magnificent and their dragon like features were a thing to marvel at. In the Muriel Monestary resides most of the Muriel Elvish community. These elves broke off from the Estherel Elves in order to create and maintain their own society. With three types of elves here, it is not difficult to find them among the small kingdom.

The Sorcerers. While most species can take up the job of Sorcery, the elvish tend to be more inclined to the magic needed. As such, a decent portion of Muriel Elvish young are picked at a young age to learn the ways of the Sorcerers. They go on to train and teach the children of Muriel as well as become diplomats that travel to other Kingdoms on the Royals of Muriels behalf.

The Moon Elves. These elves worship the Moon Goddess Seline, second of the Sister Goddesses. Each moon phase holds a different meaning for the Moon Elves and as such they celebrate it differently. The new moon marks renewing and this is when the new couples form. From the new moon to the full moon, they are made ready for their special day and under the gaze of the full moon, they are married and consumate their marriage bathed in the moons glow. The Moon Elves do not believe in abstinence and tend to get a little crazy with their parties. Moon elves are active mainly at night withing the Moon Elf Temple.

The Gatherers. These elves have a bit of a green thumb and a keen sense on animal whispering. Regarded for their ability to grow and raise just about anything, these elves are held in high regard for keeping the kingdom fed.

The Guild of Thieves is were those with the slight of hand or the subtle flick of a dagger reside. These people are the bane of most Kingdoms existence and tend to be hired to do the dirtiest things. The species within the guild does not matter but each sticks to themselves within their chapter. Within the Guild of Thieves there are four chapters.

The Rogue. These are the thieves hired for stealing missions. Stealth and quickness are what they rely on as they are often hired by nobles to steal from even worse nobles. Often the reward is great and the Rogue is able to live "paycheck to paycheck" comfortably.

The Assassin. These are the best paid in the business. most have high prices due to the fact that their job is the hardest. They often times are hired to slay an unruly neighbor, a drunk and abusive family member and often times a noble with a taste for power.

The Warlock. The warlock is among the lowest paid as they have the least amount of work to do. Warlocks can be tricky as well, often times giving faulty potions or not telling the full extent of the spell they are performing. Warlocks live by the matra, All Magic comes with a price.

The Black Widow. These are mostly female. They are the deadliest, even surpassing the assassin when it comes to job performance. Their job is to lure unsuspecting people to their deaths. Often times killing their quarry during sexual activities after digging dirt up their employer was searching for.

Pirates Cove is the safest place a pirate can go to let their flags down. This place though small tends to be where trades, auctions for slaves, and most other dirty deeds are done. Made up of Captains from the four corners of the sea, they meet twice per year to discuss what and who is being problematic. And What they could do to raise their standings within their own society. Most pirate ships fly under the allegiance of one of the four. Unknown or Unallied ships are often attacked and made to choose. If they do not, death will find them. Most pirate crews are combinations of various races. You have your Captain, You First Mate, Second Mate, and between 10-20 crew members depending on the size of the ship. Most pirate crews are also made up of different Talents. From Mages to Warriors, Blacksmiths to Sirens.

All Pirates caught by any of the kingdoms are marked and released the first time. After, if they are caught again they are "Tried" and executed for their deeds. (The Only kingdom that kills before marking is Ishgar).

To the south of the great continent lies the kingdom of Bormiel. Known for it's colorful foliage; unique creatures, and warm climate, Bormiel ushers in vastly different types of residents.

Known as the Kingdom of freedom, Bormiel the kingdom in which outcasts from their own homes tend to flee. Whether it be an elf escaping their Godly life or a Dwarf taking on the world instead of hiding in their mountain, those is Bormiel don’t tend to segregate themselves but instead make friends with their neighbors.

The History of the kingdom is fairly short compared to the others as Bormiel has never put themselves out there to be toyed with. Unlike the other Kingdoms os Estherel, Muriel, and Ishgar, they tend to stick to themselves. Ruled by a just and ruthless ruler, the Kingdom has always held strong rulers Dating back three hundred years, it’s hard to believe the castle started as just a few small buildings pushed together. But with every new ruler came a new add on and arriving to current day Bormiel, the castle stands tall enough to see a tiny sliver of the ocean on the horizon.

Coming back to the royalty of Bormiel, it is preferred that a male takes the throne but in some cases it is always okay for a female to rule. While it's people are kind and warming, the same can not be said for the royals of Bormiel. Known for their barbaric ways, the royals have always handled things a bit differently, opting for the slash of a sword to the talking lips. The current queen of Bormiel is known to rule with a power hungry grin. Her sons are not much better. As the last to rise of the four kingdoms, Bormiel has always stayed out of the War of Three Kingdoms, wishing to conquer their own land before focusing on them.

With their magical roots, the Royal family is believed the be descended from one of the last dragons. This dragon had been cast out of it’s home and forced to find somewhere new. This ended with them finding a sandy home and create life. From this dragon came several generations and a prospering kingdom.

~*~

In the lands of Bormiel you can find many a species. But those who had reside there before the merging of cultures were the Fae. These creatures remain tiny most of the time to ensure they can find home. But in the presence of others, they can grow to the size of a normal human aside from the wings that they tend to hide easily.

The jobs the Fae have within the kingdom tie mostly into the Royal Family. They have sworn their allegiance to the Bloody Queen and as such tend to fight for her. Revered as a true ally, the Fae are treated with utmost respect by everyone in the Kingdom. Most of the Fae tend to stick to the forests of Bormiel, preferring to live their lives in their green homes than the sandy ones Bormiel is known for. Most mortals would not be able to find the forest in which they reside as they have to be invited by the fae to see it.
