With the influx of travels from all around the world, the tavern/inn that Itri worked at tried it's best to be as welcoming to all as it could. Many of the other places around were still suspicious of travelers, unwilling to hold them up due to some fear of the gods punishing them to do so. Honestly, it was to be expected, given just how many of these locations were owned by old fogies who were set in their ways.

The Shore's Song Inn was as welcoming as it could be! And Itri was proud to works its tables.

To try to come off as even more welcoming, and after a bit of observation from the youngest of their families, they had set up a special now that the kitchen had a few more hands.

Kids eat free! was now proudly displayed on a sign posted outside of their inn, in hopes to entice those who went about with their families.

Itri, himself, was waiting near the front of the tavern, ready to work as both host and server should someone show up. Every now and then, he'd call out to those passing by.

"Good morning! Hungry? Try eating at The Shore's Song! We have food from all over the world! Have a little taste of home before continuing your travels!"

Brexxa Post 1


Once she got her feet on dry land she went running around. While being out on the open ocean was exciting it just didn't compare to being able to run freely. There were so many rules for being on a ship! As she circled Gael's legs she heard him tell her that it would be a few days before they had to get back on the ship and she would be cramped up in her room again. That made her grin. "Good!" She could stretch her legs and sate her curiosity at the same time.

She took to running around in a slightly wider circle, careful of those around them so she didn't knock into anyone, when Gael asked her if she was hungry. She slowed and her first thought was to shake her head 'no' in response, but when she wasn't occupied with running and staring she noticed the small gurgle in her tummy. "Okay. I'm a little hungry." Brexxa wasn't willing to admit that she might even be just a lot hungry. Her eyes looked up at her dad to see where it was that he was looking then followed. Seeing the tavern she scrunched up her nose and sniffed the air. "Do you think they have any roast? Like back home?"

His eyes were busy following his little girl as she ran around him so he didnt notice the young man by the tavern just yet. When she asked the question about the food he lifted his shoulder, about to reply, when he heard a voice call out again. Gael's attention went to Itri as he spoke about a recipe that had been shared. It didnt sound half bad.

When the sign was motioned to he looked, read it, then smiled. It was a nice gesture for the tavern owner to do. The male matorian looked down at his daughter and motioned toward the place. "Shall we?" He would wait for her to lead the way.

With the two seemingly heading his way, Itri bowed, and quickly picked up a pair of menus.

"Thank you! I'm positive you won't be disappointed!" A few moments later, he was leading them to a table, humming a happy tune now that they had their first non-regular customers of the day!

"So where are ya'll headed? I've seen lots of travelers these days, but rarely anyone so young! You must be a brave young adventurer, little miss!"

Feeling her dad's hand on her head gave her enough confidence to continue on without having to shy away from the stranger. As they made their way to the table she looked around at the tavern and the people inside, not really paying much attention to the conversation. At least not until she heard the 'little miss' part.

There she actually looked up at Itri, cheeks changing colors a little as embarrassment flooded through her. "A little.." She was only a little brave. Brexxa turned her head to look up at her dad then before she moved to cling to his leg. "I didn't want my dad to go without me." And that was the truth of it.

Gael Post 4

"Water for me but some fruit juice for her please." He motioned to Brexxa as he requested the juice. He knew that she would want something sweet, something other than water now that they were off the ship.

When his daughter spoke to the stranger he looked down at her and smiled, pleased to see she was coming out of her little shell at least a little bit more than before. Gael reached out and pat the top of her head when she mentioned not wanting to be left behind. Looking to the male that was waiting on them again he chuckled. "I couldn't leave her home this time. Was going to be gone too long for that." And he didn't want to miss her growing up. Not to mention she had no mother to look after her.

”It’s a little sad but they do bring me presents sometimes. Ah, one moment, I’ll be right back!” Now that he had their drink orders, he hurried off to grab them and double check to make sure no one else was waiting on a seat.

Assured that all was well, he came back, setting them down with a smile.

“So, if I call correctly, you’re not headed anywhere in particular. Are you two just a pair of cute adventurin’ types? Off to see the world?”

When the boy left she started to swing her legs boredly. Brexxa was waiting. When the drinks were brought back she quickly took hers and started to gulp it down. Her dad was right about her wanting something sweet instead of the usual water. At the boy's question she moved her eyes from him to her dad and then back when Gael started to respond. Her face was still half inside the cup as she drained most of the juice down.

When she finally had enough to sate her thirst for the moment she pulled her cup away and licked at her juice-stache. "Mhm. I want to see this town before we leave though!" It was already different from the small one they lived in and she was curious to see what else it had to offer.
