Freshly back from the barrens, he body humming with magic as she had been there to visit the Grandfather tree. Her ears twitched as it seemed that someone was calling for help to manage some new critters that were brought back. Well, the forest seemed to alite with the news of it. Other Nouls that she passed were talking about it. How the new critter was so cute. They had to get one, but wasn't too sure if it would fit their life style. There were many more comments and such. there was even one from a buck whom seemed more full of himself saying that he wouldn't be caught dead with the new critter. Saying it was more for a Doe or Foal then a big strong buck like himself. Juniper could only roll her eyes as she stared at the buck. There seemed to be nothing special about him. If anything he looked more like a bag of wind then 'big and strong'. Moving along, Juniper kept shaking her head at the thought of someone not liking something. Though everyone can have their own opinions and likes. But she was curious as to what this new Critter was like. Stopping a moment and looking around, she spotted another doe whom was talking to someone else about the new life.
"Excuse me." She called out to the pair whom stop and look at her. "There is so much buzz about a new critter being brought back?"
"Yes, Brightheart has Sent word that they were going to resurrect a new critter. Their grove is just up a head," the doe said as she pointed back over her shoulder.
"Oh, thanks." She grinned at the pair before setting off around them.
Juniper was too excited to see what sort of critter was brought back. It sounded like it was going to be something very cute. Perhaps it would help her with her Fungal abilities? Maybe something that could help her and her mother with their garden... That is if she were to stay with her mother and Talltale. The two seem to get long like they had known each other for years.
Lost in her own through, the Mahogany Bay doe nearly passed up the clearing. When she heard the voices of others through her own giddy thoughts, she stopped and backed up to peer into the clearing. She spotted the what looked like bones on the ground. Seems that they hadn't been brought back yet? Entering the clearing and glancing around. There were many there expecting the critter and awaiting for the Ascended to bring it back from the pile of bones in front of them.
"I thanks you all for coming. I am unsure as to what shall come, but these little lives will need guidance and love to grow." said the Ascended before they set to work.
Magic was humming in the clearing as waves of warmth swept outwards. A red glow came to the Ascended's horn before it was lowered to the bones. Juniper watched with great curiosity as the bones seemed the rattle before assembling themselves. A structure shifted into something that could resemble a critter. Tilting her head, she watched as skin and muscle formed and filled out the critter.
When the glow vanished Juniper looked down at the small life that laid curled on the ground. Tilting her head she wondered just what it was, it did look awfully cute. The statement of the buck crossed her mind and she shoved it away. This little thing was a good fit for anyone even a Buck whom was too full of himself.
"Oh, what a cutie!" Juniper all but squeed as she stepped closer, well rushed was more like it.
The critter jumped and dashed to hide behind the Ascended's legs. It peered out at her shyly. Seems that she would have to come at this a different way. She as after all an adult, not the foal from a short while ago. Shaking her head, Juniper laid down still smiling at the new life.
"It's alright. Everything is new and exciting if not a little frightening. I should know, my life started no so nice. Until I was taken in by another." She said a bit calmer, but the energy of excitement still seeped from her in ripples.
This day was a good day, she couldn't await to get home and tell her mother. Perhaps even taking one of the critters home so that Talltale could have a friend. Poor Jack Hop needed someone his own size to talk to. Whether he liked it or not.
