Quest Rules and Guidelines Thread

Hello! Welcome to the Quest Subforum. This subforum is for detailing a yet unobtained character's appearance, personality and history, along with a little rp, in hopes of getting them made real. We really want people to be encouraged to rp here, so we're hoping this thread will do so. We may do quests a little differently then you're used to, so please read this thread to familiarize yourself with the rules. <33

Quest Rules and Guides

Follow Gaia TOS.
Label your quests with [U/C] when still working on them and [Review] when ready for staff to go over them.
Please be aware, critiques may happen. Generally, critiques will be about making sure the character fits lore, however, there may be a few questions or things that you may be asked to clarify.
Personality blurbs should be at least 75 words long.
History/Backstory blurbs should be at least 200 words long.
Roleplay Responses should be at least 300 words long.
No more than one character per quest thread unless they are twins. Twins should be either identical or at least 90% identical to count. If they are drastically different then you will need to create a separate quest thread for each.
Do not post in any threads that are not yours (exception is staff during a critique).
Characters must follow lore.
Please keep the quest threads in this forum to PG-13. Please no excessive gore, violence or nudity.
No real life slurs. Things like 'Knife Ears", is okay for fantasy effect but still try keep them to a minimum.
Keep cursing to a minimum.
Please do not add colors to the coding.
No more than 2 approved quests per person at a time.
If requesting a character/pet from another shop please provide a cert to prove you are the owner.
Quests will receive at least 1 WIP.
Approved Quests are free.
We are not currently offering hybrids, non-adults or non-lore color changes to races. This could change in the future.
You are allowed to quest for a class up to level 3.
Be aware, any colorist may pick up your quest.
Please do not argue with staff when they critique. We understand that there may be differences in writing styles, but we are trying our best to keep things fair. If you feel like the staff critique was unfair then please message Koiasi.
If your character is made real; Please be aware, different artists have different styles. We will try our best to convert what is written or drawn onto the character, however, things may be translated slightly different from different mediums and artists. We may have to change things slightly here or there to fit on the lines correctly, however, we will try our best to remain as true as possible to your descriptions or visuals.

For Anyone Prompt 1

The plague ended xx years ago. How did the plague effect your character and/or their family? What is their mental state?

For Anyone Prompt 2

You decide to take a trip outside the gates of Bastion's Rise. You're instantly warned about the dangers the outside world possesses. Why did you go? What did you take with you? What do you see?

For Anyone Prompt 3

You find yourself in some trouble. What happened? How do you get out of it?

New to Bastion's Rise

Why did you come to Bastion's Rise? What was your first reaction when seeing the city or the residents? How do you feel about living there? Do you miss your old home?

Born in Bastion's Rise

Being one of the first residents to be born in Bastion's Rise within the last ten years, how do you feel knowing that you grew faster than nature intended? Is it a blessing or curse to know things that you usually wouldn't be able to know? Do you miss not having a traditional childhood? Or is all of this so normal that you don't understand the adults lamenting about it?
