Making sure the next generation has the skills to help Homewood is important. You find yourself in Homewood surrounded by young fawns, all eyes affixed to you. What lesson will you teach them?

The tree once more vanished as that familiar prickly feeling swept through his limbs to the tips of his ears. There were things he would never get used to when visiting the tree. The utter silence, or the unease of the visions. Shaking his head slightly his ears were soon met by the chatter of many foals. Whipping about he looked out over the group of little hooves that were apparently dropped at his hooves. What was all this? Was this he next test? A grin slid onto his face as he looked at the foals. This was going to be fun!
"Alright little ones, seems you have been dropped off here. I am suspecting for a lesson of some manner. Yes?" he asked as the foals nodded enthusiastically.
Well, this was going to be more then just fun. It was going to be a little educational, but it will be more then finding things for him... Yea he wasn't the best of teachers, perhaps this will help him out?... Nah. The more interesting things they find, the bigger his collection could get. Then again, he could let them keep something for themselves.
"My dear little minds, we're going to be learning the art of Scavenging. Not everything in the wastelands are junk." He said as all eyes seemed to be on him.
"I know, I know. Your parents probably dropped you off at my doorstep for a lesson in Magic." Again the heads nodded, not a foal spoke a peep as he talked, passing in front of them.
"Magic is all fine and dandy. I can survive in harsh climates and chill an area around me. There are many others out there that you will surely learn about." He paused, he was going off on a tangent about a topic that he hadn't planned on talking about. Shaking his head, he sighed. Fine!
"What magics do you little ones knew about? Aside from my own that is Solar." He asked as the foals started trying to talk over each other. He heard Botanic, Atmos. Maybe even a Vivify in there, after a moment his ears flattened back as the talking turned into almost a shouting match to see whom was loudest.
"Alright, alright. We all have an idea of what types are out there. There is also Fungal and the more recently discovered Aquas."The foals quieted down again as he continued, though Oleander turned and looked back.
"Now if you'll all follow me, we shall be taking a trip to someplace else. Away from the safeties of Homewood." The foals looked at each other and didn't move.
"Don't worry, we're not going too far. Nor are we going to the ruins. The one place no one should visit until you are older." Though that was a bit of a kicker. He had visited the Ruins when he was younger. His friend lived in the Ruins since he had been a foal, probably the same age as these foals.
"Come along my little ducks. Time to get some learn on and fire up those young minds. The future of this world rests with you once us old folks are gone." The foals looked at each other, not sure if they should follow or run away. But slowly one by one they started following Oleander through the trees of Homewood. Whatever lessons they were going to learn were to be interesting ones...
