Figure Skating || You wouldn't think it, looking at her, but Nissa is an extremely serious competitive figure skater. Although she's not exactly the tip of the top, she is competitive, and she travels regularly for competitions. It means she has to do a lot of her schooling online, but Nissa doesn't care; this is what she wants out of life and she means to chase it.
Ballet || It started as part of her figure skating training, and has since evolved into a hobby all its own. Although Nissa isn't as serious about ballet, or any other kind of dance, as she is about skating, she still enjoys it, and will duck down to her ballet studio to meet with her teacher when she needs to unwind.
Virtues:
Dedicated || Nissa never backs down, never gives up, and never dodges a challenge. She's always ready to meet whatever life throws at her head on, and she does her best to rise to the occasion. Hard work has gotten her where she is, and she doesn't intend to slack off now.
High-Energy || Nissa can go and go, and she shares that energy with everyone around her. She's loud, upbeat, and a go-getter, and she does her best to inspire the people around her to work just as hard as she does.
Flaws:
Rebel Without A Cause || Nissa is...angry. At the whole world, and most especially at any authority figure who tries to put her in a box she doesn't want to be in. She will snap and snarl and fight back in whatever small or large ways she can, and she's happy to point that anger in any direction available, at any authority that she decides deserves it. This is...problematic, for her career as a skater and for a million other reasons, because she's written off as bitchy and hard to work with.
Competitive || Look. Nissa wants everyone to do well because that raises the level of the sport and competitions are more fun when they're competitions.,...but she also wants to be the one to win. She's extremely concerned with being the best, and this means that she pushes herself hard and can get way, way into trying to "beat" someone else.
