The bonds between pack members are very fluid. What does that mean? It means that while some chose to mate for life, others are less strict in their courtship and breeding. Most often a pair will chose to be monogamous with each other for a time, if not for life, but it is not frowned upon for wolves to have polyamorous relations or even flings. This is because any resulting pups from any courtship will be the responsibility of the pack regardless of whether its parents were monogamous or not. *** New *** The Point has (partially) opened themselves up to breedings with pack females. Willow Bark, the Beta, has chosen to continue to reproduce only with his life mate, Minnow. The alpha and elder, however, have accepted their roles in growing pack numbers as best they may. Read below to find out how to claim a spot with either available Point members.
Need to Know
Flings, both with pack members and non-pack members, are not frowned upon but it is the pack's priority to raise children within the pack. Flings with wolves outside the pack must submit a form. See blow for details. You may enter mix and match breeding slots without prior authorization but must alert pack owners (either In Good Faith or Ruler of Everything) if a slot is obtained. Some of the Point (pack leadership) have made themselves available for breedings in the attempt to raise pack numbers. See below for details.

During the first pack gathering within the new territory, it was decided the Point should avail themselves to pack females who wished to become mothers but who found it difficult to couple with an available pack male (or outsider). Below are the Point members who have volunteered for this responsibility, along with the general rules of the agreement.
How it works:
In order to request a Point member, post the below form in this thread. Not all of the Point is available for this. See pack members below for those that are. All slots obtained through this method must qualify as a role played pairing. If your request is accepted, you will then be contacted by the wolf's owner and arrange to complete one RP together. You must already have one RP available to qualify the couple as a role played pair before requesting a slot (just as it is the father's responsibility to have an additional role play). Point members are limited to accepting no more than two partners under this agreement per calendar year. (This is due to the fact that shop rules limit one wolf to three breedings in a calendar year when the partners are not lifemates.) This reserves one breeding slot for the Point wolf to be used in any manner they wish to do with it, or not use it at all. It is your responsibility to obtain a breeding slot for the pair. The agreement between either owner can be discontinued at any time. Some reasons for why the Point wolf may discontinue attempts to breed with your wolf may include having found love, health concerns, losing their position as a Point member, or for no real reason other than simply desiring not to. No wolf will be required to breed with someone they don't wish to. Distribution of the resulting puppies will be the decision of the wolf owners.

How does the pack view same-sex couples?
Same-sex couples are completely accepted but there is an expectation that they will still attempt to create life. This is because the need for pack members is dire and often surrogacy can readily be found. If your couple isn't interested in surrogacy, you may receive some odd looks and gossip but that isn't because of your sexuality, but rather disregarding a duty to rebuild the pack.
How does the pack view polyamorous couples?
Like same-sex couples, any romantic relationship between wolves is perfectly accepted within Swiftfell, as long as there is still the common desire to create children. See above for more details.
What about flings with outsiders? (i.e. non-pack)
At this time, pack members are permitted to breed outside of the pack. This is in response to the low number of pack members, from what is being called The Great Waste. Whether this will continue in the future will be up for pack discussion. Any breeding that takes place outside the pack must be approved, the form for which is found above. It is understood that the Swiftfell wolf will make every effort to have the pups raised in the pack.
What about Mix & Match Breedings?
Your Swiftfell wolf is free to enter mix and match breeding without using the Intent to Breed form. In the event you obtain a slot, you must inform the alpha. It is understood that the Swiftfell wolf will make every effort to have the pups raised in the pack. Out-of-canon, we know that this can sometimes be difficult to manage but the effort must be there in-canon.
How is child-rearing handled?
It is a huge priority for Swiftfell children to remain in Swiftfell. Out-of-canon, we know that this can sometimes be difficult to manage but the effort must be there in-canon. Further, children of the alpha are not given any special treatment though it is not unheard of for caretakers to dote on them as a means to gain favor with the alpha.
