School/Occupation: Works in a pharmacy as a certified pharmacy tech. Also is a youtuber who debunks wacko medicine (like Jilly Juice) for shits and giggles...plus it’s easy.
Hobbies: YouTube: I mean he does make some of his money from youtube videos so yeah! He likes to watch things late night so he can get inspiration for his own videos, plus it’s nice to end the night with a good laugh. Who doesn’t want to have a good laugh right before bed? Especially if you’ve had a rather stressing day at work, thanks to those nasty customers with attitude issues. It’s also a place to watch the news and find out all manner of interesting things, to learn new things which sometimes even make it into a video of his (such as history of illnesses, where certain terms come from, and other things.)
Starbucks: Yes, this can be a hobby. It isn’t so much that he goes to starbucks a lot, though he does, but rather that he likes to collect their merchandise. He works, a lot, and so likes to bring drinks from home to work rather than purchase water bottles at work. This means he has a few tumblers to keep his water, and other drinks, cold while he’s at work. But it’s not just tumblers, and cups, from his local starbucks but ones he orders from over seas. Cause why the hell do they get the pretty cups and not those, like himself, in the US? It’s not fair. So he’s found a few sellers, over facebook, who he buys Starbucks merch from on the regular. He’s got a bit of a collection...but hey! He uses them all!
Gym: When the gym opened up near to his job he signed up, immediately, because they had a discount on membership and he needed it. Let’s face it...he drinks too much caffeine, while at work, and doesn’t eat the best foods while at work. So he needs somewhere to work off some of those calories in order to keep in shape. If he didn’t do that he’d gain weight…..damn having several take our places right around his job. Damn it all!
Virtues: Hard working: It takes a lot to work in a pharmacy, more than some people know, but Larkin has that under control. He’s good at putting his head down and getting s**t done. He’s not one to joke about when there is work to be done, whatever that work may be. He can get a bit single minded and set on whatever task he’s doing and not stray from it, so he’s not good for multi taking. But he does manage to get everything done - in order.
Accepting: Perhaps it’s because he doesn’t care or perhaps it’s something else but Larkin is open and accepting of just about everything, so long as it doesn’t hurt other people. He’s accepting to the point of honestly not batting an eye over something someone tells him or being surprised in the slightest.
Helpful: As much as he is an introvert, and not much of a people person, he is one who wants to please others. So when he can help out he will. If that means taking on extra hours at work or going to another store - he will. He’s known to work a full week before having a day off, rare as that is. He’ll also help out people at work as well as do whatever he can to help customers get the best price on their medications, though when they are backed up it seems to annoy his pharmacy manager (causing a conflict in him). This translates, of course, to home life as well where he will help however he can with his family. He might not be able to do much, or he might not be able to do something for himself, but he will help someone whether it be money wise or by going to do something for them. He’ll do his best, in the hopes of pleasing them.
Flaws:
Lacks confidence: While people might say he sounds confident he’s not. It’s all an act. He’d learned to act and do so well. He’s not the most confident person in the world, far from it, and rather needs a boost from those around him. It’s why he seeks people's approval and attention, it gives him the confidence he needs, because the people he looks to are those he respects and if they approve of him - then he’s good. The problem is...is when people scold him, or say he’s done something wrong. He deflates and lets it get to him...where he starts to doubt himself.
Approval seeking: Perhaps he shouldn’t, as he’s sure some people might see it as him bragging, but he will tell those he works for everything he’s managed to do. It’s not to brag, or show off, but rather to get them to smile and say he did good - so he feels good and like he’s done something. Without that he has a habit of not thinking he did enough - that he could have done more...that he isn’t as good as others he works with.
Introvert: Sometimes being an introvert isn’t a bad thing but for Larkin it’s mostly a bad thing. It makes socializing difficult as he doesn’t know when to stop a conversation, or how to for that matter, he’s also one to keep to himself and when he’s not feeling very good about things it stews when he’s alone. He can fall into a bit of depression at times when he’s left to his own devices.

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Riddle you.
Tapping at his temple Verlaine than points at someone within five feet of him. Calling his attack a beam of purpleish light will hit the target. Upon hitting the person they will feel like they can’t remember something - something important. What it is they don’t know but they need to know and they will try and figure this out. The attack lasts only twenty seconds and can be used three times in battle. As you’d expect this feeling of being unable to answer, or figure something out, can cause some distress and confusion. It can also be distracting as you’re busy trying to remember what you forgot/need.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Riddle me.
The attack is carried out in the same manner, with Verlaine touching his temple before pointing at a target. This time when the light hits the target they seem to forget what they are doing, where they are, what is going on (maybe not every detail and certainly not all three things) and will feel the need to know what it is they don’t remember. It can cause obvious distraction, trying to ask others what is going on, frustration, distress and perhaps even loss of temper due to the aforementioned things. This attack can last thirty seconds and be used twice in battle. The range is six feet.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Wrong answer.
Rather than touching his temple, or himself at all, Verlaine will point at an opponent and call this attack. When the dark purple light hits it’s target, whether they are the intended target or not, they will feel like they can’t figure something out - something absolutely needed and perhaps necessary. As they sputter out what they think it is they’ve forgotten they will hear the words ‘wrong answer’ and seeing what appears to be an enraged Spinx in front of them. The Spinx will then take a swipe at them with her claws leaving magical cuts across them. These cuts do not last beyond the battle and they do not draw blood, they will however leave you feeling a good amount of pain for forty seconds. This attack can hit anyone within seven feet of Verlaine and can only be used once in battle. Once the magic is over the painful feeling will fade till it is gone, how long it takes is up to the player.
*Note that the sphinx seen is not real and only the one the magic is used on can see it - no one else can see it!
