XXXXXAchana Sonozaki, the Gym Leader of the Coresport City Gym, could only smile softly at the would-be challenger as he approached her. The gym of Coresport was black and dark, except for the occasional red flame candle one was afforded at the start. Navigating through the darkness and challenging battles on the way to the royal princess of the Dark was part of one's test of will in this gym. "Well, well, and you have tread through the darkness, and bested my disciples only to stand before me. I, Achana, accept your challenge! Can you brave the horrors of the night, and find the beauty within the black?!", she interrogatively shouted as her soft smile turned into a sadistic grin. In her hand was clutched a single pokeball.
XXXXXThe lights in the room flickers on into a haunting red glow as smoke gushed from vents around the edges of the battle arena. It was clear that Achana's money had afforded quite the show in theatrics as well as a premium place for such a contest to begin. "Let's start this out...Sable, show them a good time.", she called as the pokeball had left her hand and landed on the arena floor. In a small flash of darkness from the ball-capsule, a menacing Dark/Ghost-Type Pokémon emerged. Sableye laughed before grinning toothily at the trainer it was to face, as if the creature was just itching to inflict some damage on whatever was to be thrown at it. The male trainer could only stand there with resolve as the menacing Gym Leader and her fearsome fighter stood with the same red glow in their eyes and the same wicked smile plastered on their faces. His selection had been made as he tossed the ball from his pokebelt forward, and a roaring Charmeleon was revealed to be the opposition.
