▶ SOCIABLE — He's a chatterbox, he would point at one thing at the train window and he'll talk about it for thirty minutes at least. Sallie doesn't seem to want to shut up unless he's in class, much to the entertainment or chagrin to his peers. On a funny note, he just really wants to basically say that he wants to say and he's perfectly fine with someone just quietly listening, but he would be happier with someone who has something to say as well. On a serious note, when provoked he won't hesitate to find a way to rip the provoker apart. At least.... that's the goal

▶ DRAMATIC — Sallie will be as dramatic as he please, and if anyone tells him other he'll just get more dramatic. He's dramatic in the sense that the way he reacts to things can be compared to stuff done in theaters like "Oh, Desdemona! You wound me!" and everyone can see that he intended to do that. Did he do that because he wasn't given attention at home? No, he's really just like that. Sallie just happens to not feel the need to wrap himself in silence added with the fact that he's talkative, and just acts how he wants to acts. No big deal.

▶ EASILY SPOOKED — For someone who is a big fan of spooky stories, much to the chagrin of his teachers, he is.... easily spooked when being caught off guard. He really just doesn't like being sneaked up from behind or just not shocked in general. He doesn't like dark places or the eerie sounds that would make him bump. This is mainly because everytime he gets spooked, it was a guarantee that he'll be made fun of, much to his chagrin. Yes, he likes reading spooky stories, but he doesn't like actually experience it.

▶ CURIOUS — Sallie is curious in a "Ohhh what happens next?" way, as he really doesn't care about being an honor roll student or any of that. All he cares about is how intigruing the situation he's present in was, especially as a muggleborn who has not seen the Wizarding World until he got the Letter. He finds more interest in dramatic real-life horror stories in written form, and much more so to ghost stories by his fellow classmates. School-wise, he doesn't care about the technicalities, it's simply whether it's entertaining or not.

▶ HUMOROUS — It's easy to make Sallie laugh, in fact he's always looking for an excuse for a funny scene worth wheezing for. Sometimes it was in the form of making fun of someone he doesn't like (and doesn't seem scared doing so. Hm.). Sometimes it's just reading a history and making fun of the already dead historical figures. He pretty much likes to try putting a bright perspective in stories that people would find odd to put, and really, Sallie just finds it fun to paint the picture.

▶ BLUNT — Sallie is honest... for his own good. Growing up he really didn't face the consequence of being honest to his dad, so as a result it ended up carrying it to the present. Sure, he does face consequences in school when tearing bullies apart with how he says things, but after that it's kind of clear that the "lesson" flew out from his ear. This includes snarking people, and sometimes he would go as far in bickering that only God knows how will that take him to Hogwarts.

➥ Background History

▶ CHILDHOOD — Sallie Andreas Houdini is born from a fling, in which as soon as his father Casper found out that the mother Bella gave birth after months of not being in contact. Bella made it clear that she's not prepared to be a mother, but Casper is willing to raise the boy as a single father due to his good job and support system. The two still keep on friendly terms, with Casper and Sallie moving to Scotland to live there permanently. Bella does visit the family occasionally, too, as a friend.

Anyway, with his father being a very supportive one, Sallie grew up being very close to him. He grew up reading books in his small shelf full of horror and mystery, as Casper was actually a bookworm for such. While his home life was very stable, his school life... wasn't. His vocal and gutsy nature has led him to multiple fights with bullies, but while his father scolded him for engaging in violence, he wasn't punished for not being afraid, to be honest. That, and the fact that Sallie has the tendency to have moments where he would feel like he fell from a tree safely when he should have broken a bone, or the fact that he'd realize that he's nearly invisible. This is the only thing Sallie wasn't vocal about, as he's realistic enough that he'll be accused of crying wolf. But the dread was eventually lifted when his home was sent a Hogwarts letter, to which Casper thankfully recognized due to the fact that his sister Mary was a muggleborn witch, though they haven't been in contact for a decade. Casper hesitantly called Mary to assist him and his son since it was apparently confirmed that he has magic. Marry cheerfully accepted, since she did miss her "grumpy brother" and excited to see her nephew. Sallie was excited seeing a new world... though he was kind of spooked about the unknown. Upon entering Hogwarts, he's hoping that he'll get over it and give it a shot.
