Finding herself with a few free days, Fariha had been taking it easy, enjoying herself. When the word spread through Homewood of Brightheart's intent to bring a new species back to Vykeli, the blue and pink doe was more than a little intrigued. She had never bore witness to the revivification of a species before. Was there a certain protocol that needed to be followed? What was the decorum expected of those that attended such an event? Fariha had gone to soak in cool, clear water late in the morning. She prepared herself as much as she could over the course of the morning. First impressions were important, no? Fariha occupied herself fussing about. She checked in with a few of her friends, asked if they themselves had heard the news, if they were going to go attend too, visited the working nannies, and so forth. She'd almost have preferred to be working. The doe would have things to occupy her mind, to busy her body with. Still, she managed to the best of her abilities and time wore ever on.
When the time mentioned in the message that passed through the Homewood drew near, Fariha found herself growing...nervous? Excited? There were butterflies flitting about in her guts regardless of the name for the feeling. Still, she wanted to be there. She wanted to experience this. There were quite a few other nouls who had also received the message and were in attendance. Fariha approached the Life Giver to let her know what her intentions were. "I've heard your summons, Penna. Since you're needing nouls to assist with this endeavor, I'm here to play my part. I'll gladly take care of one of these new souls." She nodded and slipped back from the ascended doe. And she waited among those who had gathered. Whatever would come back into the world would need guides and guardians. Those were tasks that Fariha was glad to shoulder. A little friend for herself would be nice, plus an extra pair of eyes would always be welcome when she nannied or foal-sat. What if they had more than a pair of eyes? She supposed there was always a chance that the resurrected beasties were truly oddities. What if they had more than a pair of eyes? Huh. That would truly be strange. Still, she'd be happy to take one under her proverbial wing. Vykeli was a wonderful world, a world slowly waking. It'd be a delight to share.
