While the veil was open, the two were busy. They ferried the wolves of Kells into the land, bidding them what they needed to do should they want to re enter their world. Those who lacked return, well, they would be casted in Irithyll until the next opening, so long they didn’t succumb to the magical land first.
But the veil was closed, and the time in Irithyll was calm. So peaceful. Sariah didn’t know what to do with herself. She sighed, closing her eyes as she padded around blindly near the thorn circle. She claimed this land as a temporary home, but now it was time to head off. A new home would need to be found, while the veil remained closed.
Sylas had been spending his day with Ymir, a friend who often came around when his relationship with his mate was rocky. The two males would spend the day being lazy amongst the crystal trees, hiding from their duties and responsibilities.
“Where is Sariah today?” Ymir questioned with a deep yawn.
“Not sure.” Sylas replied with closed eyes. He was resting his chin on his front paws, blissfully unaware of the world around.
“What about Amalthia? Where is she?”
“It’s a long story.” the pale male laughed as he rolled onto his side. “She’s mad at me again.”
“That wandering eye will get you killed, my friend.” Sylas laughed as he opened one eye to glance at the other male.
Sariah sighed, snorting slightly. Sylas should be around here somewhere. She scented the air, catching the faint scent of the male. A low grumble from deep within as she caught a whiff of something else too. Who was that…
Oh. Him..
Shaking her head, Sariah headed towards the scent, spotting the two males not too far off.
“There you are.” Sariah called out. “All our navigating towards the other worlders are done. Ready to head off?” Sariah asked, glancing towards Ymir.
“Hello Ymir.”
At the sudden appearance of his mate Sylas turned and gave her a cheeky grin, eyeing Ymir slyly. He knew their friendship was rocky, she really didn’t care for the way he treated Amy after all. Still, Ymir was his friend, a friend he loved to annoy.
“Oh hey love, soon, yeah. I wanted to soak up some sun with this loser.”
“Sariah.” Ymir frowned as he glanced at her for a second. She always spoiled his good time. “You’re the loser.” the pale male added as he rolled his eyes in annoyance. “What are you doing here?”
“Looking for me of course.” the blue male tested.
“Did Amy follow you?” Ymir seemed to frown even deeper.
“You would hate that wouldn’t you?” a voice snapped back as the blue female appeared. “You have some nerve hiding from me.”
Sylas, still laying started to laugh uncontrollably. This was too much. "Hey Amy."
“Well at least we can agree on that sentiment.” Sariah said quietly, a sarcastic tone to her voice. She looked innocently towards Ymir, though she was sure he had heard her.
“Well, you can’t be too much longer. We have a long way to go.”
Her ears pinned back at his question. “Wouldn’t the question be more so what are YOU doing here? Hmm. And, as for Amy,” cue the female. Ahah, a smirk on her maw.
“What perfect timing.” Sariah purred out. “Why were you hiding from her Ymir hmm? Other than taking time away from what Sylas needs to actually accomplish today?”
“Sylas is a free man, like it or not, sweets.” Ymir smirked before he looked away. Amy was here. Today went from amazing to the worst in about two seconds. He gave both females a deep sigh before ignoring them for Sylas, he was now talking rather forwardly, his discomfort apparent.
“Why did they have to show up?”
“I won’t get in the middle of that.” the blue male laughed as he rolled himself to his paws, smiling at both females before nodding at Sariah. “I was enjoying some time with a friend. You understand.”
She wasn’t the jealous type, no matter how much she might have disliked Ymir. She did give him enough space to be his own man. “Amy-” he paused, noticing her rather upset expression. “Oh…”
“Excuse me?” the female lashed out, snapping at Ymir as she used her long fangs to tug at his closest ear. “You think I’m that annoying? That you have to hide from me?!”
“Amy please.” Sylas gave her another slight smile. “You know how he is…”
“You’re annoying me. Both of you.” Ymir spat back as he jerked his head away from his mate. “Stop it.”
