The nights had become warmer, which had caused him to wander outside when he finally had a break. Of course, that had led to his "upgrade" and well, he still wasn't too sure about it. He had felt something other than just the new power that came with this form. Something was clearly going on from his Homeworld. He could feel it, and he knew that the next time he went, he would have to face whatever monster it held within it.
For now though, he had just decided to wander as an Eternal for a bit. The power was nice, he no longer felt like he was so weak. He should have the power to go toe to toe with any General that may come his way... But it made him feel, disconnected somehow? As though he had taken a step back away from his fellow Senshi and Knights. Was it because he was more powerful and therefor didn't need their help as much? He wasn't sure, but he wanted to go and build connections. To feel like he was doing something as there seemed to be quite the lull in events.
Nothing really seemed to have happened during last winter, and there hadn't been any big events since last year, he wondered if that meant that the Negaverse was just biding it's time until they decided to go all out or if it was just a standstill.
He let out a frustrated grunt as he kicked a rock that had landed on the rooftop that he was on. He was uneasy. And he felt absolutely ridiculous in the outfit that he had been given. He didn't mind the butt wings, though they felt weird, but it felt like he was taken straight out of Hamilton or something and he wondered just what the heck his outfit was supposed to represent.
With those thoughts cluttering his head, he didn't feel the chaotic signature at first...

Winter was always a time to stay at home and bundle up, at least that was his opinion on winter, but as it was warming up Xi-Wang had decided to start going out more. It also perhaps had to do with recent, very recent, changes in his life. A big move, really big, had him feeling full of energy and wanting to go out and do things.
Tonight was a night to go out, enjoy the warmth the creeping spring was bringing, and see if any of his court members were out and about - to check on them. He might be an eternal but he certainly didn't live up to it most times...but he did check on his court members whenever he could, he just wasn't the first one into a fight.
When he felt an aura that screamed white moon, and eternal, he was hesitant to go towards it. He even kept away from it. Skirting around the neighborhood in the hopes whoever it was wouldn't notice him. A plush panda held in his arms as he jumped across a roof top and landed on the next one. He was close, and he knew it, but he wasn't leaving either. He normally would have but he had to learn not to just run and avoid things. He couldn't always do that.

Eventually Caliban realized what the feeling was that had been bothering him for a bit. "Chaos..." He muttered to himself as he tried to get a pin on where the other was. It didn't feel like a Negaverse aura, but it didn't feel good either. He could have sworn he had felt something like this before, but wasn't sure where.
And so without hesitation he started to follow it, and eventually realized that it was going all over the city. Caliban sighed, he really did not want to chase this around all night so he hoped that he would be able to at least spot them to see what was going on.
After some time of what seemed to be a game of cat and mouse, Caliban eventually caught sight of the other. It was... another Senshi? Not a corrupted one though. Their wings looked more like bats. The ones on this senshi appeared to be black in color, but the same feathery-type as his. What was this senshi? "Hey you! I'm not here to fight!" Caliban yelled at the other. Though if they ran away he would be fine with it. After all, it meant he wouldn't have to get into a fight at least. He was prepared if he needed to though. His powers had grown, he could paralyze, at least parts of the body. He hadn't tried his Eternal attack yet so he had no idea if that was more of the same or something different.

He was being followed - he was sure of it. He hoped they weren't looking for a fight, whoever it was, but when he heard the voice call out and the promise to not fight, to not be looking for a fight, the dark winged eternal turned slowly. Stopped on a roof top, plush held to his chest, as he turned a breeze caught the sheer layers of fabric which made up his uniform.
"You promise? You're not going to try and kill me?" Because others had...others from every other faction. He was sort of tired of people wanting him dead...and just because he was a dark mirror senshi - just because he was where he belonged.

Caliban wanted to jokingly say "do you want me to?" but decided against it. Most likely it would just start a fight and he just did not want to deal with that right now. Instead he nodded his head. "I have no reason to. Just trying to... figure out what you are. You have the aura of chaos, but you don't look like you belong to the Negaverse. And while I don't like them, I don't start fights with them either if I can help it." He responded shrugging his shoulders and giving out a sigh at remembering all of the fights he had to get into because of them.
When Caliban looked closer at the other, even though they were still quite a ways from each other, he could tell that the Senshi was carrying a plush? An eyebrow rose on Caliban's face, but he didn't say anything about it. The other was probably using it as some sort of comfort thing.

"What I am...? You've never." Shaking his head he smiled and took the first few steps towards the other. "We're a small faction...we don't choose a side - we're chaos....but not." They weren't the Negaverse and they weren't out to hurt people and all that. "We're sort of in the middle of all of you." Even if his signature said he was chaos. They certainly didn't act like the Negaverse and he was pretty sure they didn't have the same plans either.
Making his way closer he jumped the distance separating them, landing with practiced ease. "We're dark mirror senshi. We might feel like chaos but we don't serve the Negaverse. We serve mirrorspace...we're sort of...well." How to explain it? It really wasn't that hard honestly, not to someone else who knew magic was real. "We don't get to call space our home - like you all do. We are senshi - we all are. But our soul doesn't connect to space. It's different." It's why they answered to neither side and how they kept some place in the middle of this mess. "We're a small close knit group." At least some of them were close knit - most of them? Close enough either side could easily smash them all and leave no mirrorsenshi left. Thankfully no one attacked them all.

"Not that I can remember." Caliban said, shrugging his shoulders. "And with you, uh, guys being such a small faction, that's probably the reason." Chaos without being with the Negaverse and having no connection to their homeworlds... he wasn't sure if that was a blessing or a curse. Then again, not many Senshi had a monster trapped within the depths of their homeworld, trying to get out. "Other than Corrupt Senshi, I don't believe I've seen a Senshi that didn't have a connection. I'm guessing Mirrorspace is some sort of alternate dimension then?" Like the Negaverse probably. He wouldn't be surprised if there were alternate dimensions, realities, timelines, anything that had been thought of in sci-fi at least. He wondered what it was like though. If Mirrorspace wasn't like the Negaverse, then what was it's purpose? Where was it? Was it meant to be a death trap too?

"Not really....think of it as white - all white...in every direction. Doors to all white rooms. Most are empty as well. That's what we have. We also have mirrorscape, it's new for us, but through a mirror in mirrorspace we can go to floating, white, islands. We can decorate them though - make them pretty....I suppose it's like having our own home worlds." It was as close as they'd get and he was sort of ok with it. He'd like to see what Kiuchi was like but he needed his mirror family, he wouldn't give them up for anything. "In mirrorspace...and on our floating island we can find little crystals of different colors...they do different things. Yellow can make light - like little floating lights. Blue can make water and green for grass or plants. We have to break the stones to use them but we can also combine them - red and blue for a small hot spring." It was exciting and something he liked to talk about, as was obvious by the bright eyes and brighter tone of voice.
"Think of it like Alice and her adventure through the looking glass. We go through mirrors and into another world. It's bland...but the step beyond that lets us create and make our world what we want it to be. I suppose it's what we get in return for not having a homeworld or a connection to one." Shrugging a bit he held the plush a bit tighter, leaned his head down towards it but not touching.
"What about your homeworld? Have you seen it? What's it like? I could...if you ever wanted - I can show you mirrorspace and mirrorscape...I've only taken one other person who wasn't in our court...and they don't like me anymore - I haven't seen them in a long time." And it did bother him, he wondered if he'd done something wrong, but he couldn't let it eat at him like it had in the beginning.

Caliban could almost imagine the burning sensation his eyes would be feeling looking at all of the white that the Dark Mirror described. He wasn't sure if he could stand even going there. The rest of the description of it sounded interesting, but just seeing all of that white appeared like it would hurt the eyes a bit. "That sounds amazing. To create your own spaces... even though I have my Homeworld, I still feel so disconnected from it." He wondered if they could stay in Mirrorspace, if it was anything like their homeworlds, he wouldn't mind having a place to go to that didn't have any sealed monstrosities... When the Senshi asked about his Homeworld a shiver ran down his spine. "I have. I... wouldn't recommend going to it. There seems to be some sort of monster that's been sealed in it before even the end of life in the Universe a thousand years ago. And every time I've gone back, the seal seems to have become weaker which is why I didn't go too much. And now that I'm an Eternal, I'm afraid the next time that I actually go back, it's going to break free..." Which is why he had been avoiding it since he had upgraded. As much as he appreciated the power, it came with consequences that he knew he couldn't take on by himself. He shook his head, having started to look at the ground as he remembered his Homeworld and looked back at the Dark Mirror. "I'd like to see it. Or at least if you've done anything with your space I'd like to take a look. I want to see what sorts of things you guys can do in there." He didn't have any want to become a Dark Mirror, if that were possible, but he did like to learn about other places, and Mirrorspace was a different place!

"I have...I've decorated my bit of space a lot. I don't think many have....I'm not entirely sure why. I think it's nice...mirrorspace provided it to us - sort of." He wasn't, for now, going to bring up the chaos seed. He was sure the other would feel it when they arrived in mirrorscape. It wasn't that he was ashamed of it but he knew how others would likely react, at least those of the white moon. If he could show him things first than he might not be so against it. Not that he liked what it did to other places...devouring and recycling them...
"We can go...I can take you. I know where most of the mirrors in the area are." And that was both a blessing and a curse. They could teleport, like a Negaverse agent, but they needed a mirror. It helped to get away and escape someone...but they had to get to a mirror first. At least the city was littered with them, something the court had seen to over the years.
"Follow me? I promise - no tricks." Did he even look the sort to pull a trick on someone...much less backstab someone?

Caliban hesitated for a moment. For all he knew, this guy was playing a trick on him and trying to lure him into a trap. Still... if he could go, this would be valuable information. He made sure to check that his phone was still in the pocket where he had put it, and he would make sure to check to see if it was there every so often, in case something did go wrong. "I'll go. You go ahead and lead the way." At least he knew that he could get away if he needed, at least before they went into the mirrors, which was a strange concept in the first place, but he wasn't too surprised. With magic, just about anything could be done, and he wasn't surprised that there was another dimension within. After all, how many comics, cartoons, and series dealt with such a thing? It made sense at least. "But I'm still going to keep an eye out. Can't help but be a bit paranoid around chaos. I won't lash out unnecessarily though." He knew that much at least.

As if pondering the words he spoke, as he spoke them, it was something he wondered about. He was fairly certain mirrorspace was somewhat sentient and did have emotions...or feelings of some sort. It did seem to react to things and it did attack them, at times, and reacted to what they did.
Making towards the nearest mirror, that he knew of, it was a bit of a walk but it wasn't all that bad. He'd gotten used to walking around the city over time, a bit of a task for his former out of shape self. He'd never been much for gym class or anything which entailed straining the body or endurance, aside from gaming for hours.
When he did reach the mirror he had to pull a tarp off of it, it was hidden inside an abandoned building under a few things. "Let's go...you'll need to hold my hand or I can't bring you in with me."

Caliban wondered for a moment if Chaos was the one controlling Mirrorspace or if Mirrorspace was it's own... thing and that the way into it was using some sort of power, in this case Chaos, to do so. It didn't matter at this point, he would just have to look into it later. He followed the Dark Mirror Senshi, making sure to keep a sense of what was going on around him in case something else decided to appear. Whether it was Chaos or Order, he didn't want to be caught in the middle of it. Soon enough they were inside of an abandoned building, making Caliban wonder just how safe it was, and the Senshi pulled a tarp of what appeared to be a mirror. Caliban wondered how it hadn't been smashed already. Perhaps too many believed in the curse when one broke a mirror? He hesitated only for a moment more when the Senshi told him that he needed to hold hands with Caliban. But in the end, he sighed, squared himself up, and put his hand in the others. "Let's go." He said, waiting to be pulled into... whatever Mirrorspace was.
