About Aquariums
Gaia Aquariums was released September 23, 2008, followed by the signature game Booty Grab on January 27, 2009. Users are able to customize their tank, add and feed fish, and tap tanks. Since then a variety of guilds, guides, and threads have been made, contributing to the formation of the Aquariums/Booty Grab Community. Unfortunately, the game requires Adobe Flash. This requirement makes the feature tedious for many users to access and will become more challenging to access with the demise of Flash at the end of 2020. There have been hints at the potential to develop a non-Flash version of Aquariums. In the mean time, this party is to celebrate the past 12 years of Gaia Aquariums. Happy booty grabbing!
General Guidelines
Adhere to Gaia Online Rules and Terms of Service at all times. Give all thread moderators and game managers 2-3 days before reporting missing scores. Mules for the purpose of roleplaying, fun, bumping/grabbing tanks are permitted. Mules for the purpose of increasing odds of winning chance prizes are not permitted and will forfeit prizes.

Feel free to chat, hang out, and show off your tanks and avatars. There will be items given out at random and the opportunity to quote posts for items. In addition, there are some fabulous artists lurking around.
Chatting with others and participating in activities improves your chances. Refrain from begging for art/items.

Anything goes avatar contest: dress up, builder, paws, human, scenic, etc. Participants can submit a maximum of three avatars per category (six total), but will only win once.
Fish or Finsona: Avatar inspired by any of Gaia Aquariums' fish. You can find the different fish in the Aquarium Guide.
Fishionista: Open category - dress for a sea adventure, as a mermaid, as an elemental, or anything else related to water.
