Sitting on a roof top over looking the downtown part of the city, the lights bright and causing him to shield his eyes very now and then, Kiuchi took comfort in the fact this part of the city was bright and noisy so he wasn't likely to be noticed up here. He had things to think about and things to work on.
Rhona was right, she typically was, and when he thoguht about it more he started to feel like he was living in a gilded cage - he just didn't see the bars till now. Nischal might not like Rhona, for whatever had happened in the past, but why couldn't she come over so long as he wasn't home? She wasn't going to do anything to his home...did he not trust Xi-Wang to have her in and out while he wasn't around? Or that he'd let Rhona do anything to the house? Not that he thought Rhona would do anything, she wasn't that sort of person, but what was the reasoning? He wanted to ask but he worried about asking...about a fight happening...about hurt feelings.
Drawing his knees to his chest he took the time to look out at the cities bright lights. He had a view most would kill for, especially came to taking pictures, and he felt he should appreciate it. He was big on appreciating the things he had in life, small as some may be, he had pulled together a life for himself and he was happy with it...or well...he had been. Now he was questioning parts of it and he didn't like that; but it needed to be.

Hekate had been idly wandering the streets without much care. The tiara and hoodie she often wore was removed and stowed away in her pocket of subspace that she kept some nicknacks in. Her wraith overed nearby, it’s translucent form barely visible unless it passed under a street lamp. Even then she wasn’t worried about it since more civilians, if they did spot it, simply blinked in confusion and rubbed their eyes with the back of their hands and by then it would already be gone. Nothing more than a figment of their imagination. However, as it continued to gather more energy and its form became more corporeal, Hekate began considering turning in for the night when an aura belonging to one of her own feathered the edge of her senses. Curious, she followed the stationary signature where an Eternal sat in deep contemplation. “Mind if I join you for a bit?” She asked politely as she approached.

He'd sensed someone, another from his court, but hadn't moved. it wasn't that he didn't want to be social, he liked meeting members of his court, but he was still trying to figure out what to do. Rhona's words held weight in his mind and kept his thoughts occupied. When he heard a voice he turned his head towards it, dark eyes blinking once before glancing the other over. Hadn't he seen her once before? He couldn't remember if he had but he thought he had...a long time ago.
"Of course, have a seat, though it's not so comfortable. You've had a safe night I hope." Wanting to make sure sure had been safe tonight, no injuries or anything else, he wasn't the best of eternals but he did care for and check on those he could.
"I'm sorry if my presence here disturbed you tonight. Just needed a walk and some noise." To just be out of the house and away from everything. He needed to figure out his own thoughts and make up his mind on things...

“It’s been as safe as can be expected with how quiet it has been as of late. No White Moon encounters thankfully, just some rowdy civilians.” There had been a drunken fight outside one of the bars. Stupid patron got kicked out for being belligerent then stupidly took a swing at the bouncer. Sucked to be him considering he missed but the bodybuilder, who looked like he was either Samoan or Tongan, got solid hit in. Knocked the poor bloke out. Not only was it amusing to watch but hey, at least it was free energy for the taking. Poor b*****d was going to have one hell of a hangover whenever he woke up next. “You seem… distracted.” Carefully choosing her words, Hekate took a seat beside him then folded her hands into her lap. “Everything ok?”

"Indeed...it has been quieter than normal." It was a bit noisy in this part of the city, which was why he picked it, but it wasn't like it normally would be. Honking horns and other noises normally filled this part of the city - not so much now. "No white moon is good." Same for knights. He didn't much like them either...or rather they didn't like him. He didn't have an issue provided they weren't out to try and hurt or kill him.
Shaking his head he shrugged. "It is...and it isn't. It's hard to say. I think it's ok...just some problems but mostly ok?" Hesitating on his answer, weighing his words and figuring if they were right, how he felt, before he spoke. He wanted to be as honest as he could be, and he was a bit mixed in his feelings right now, so he took his time.
"It's not so easy being an adult." Not that he was much of one. He was still young - really young. But he was on his own....and had been for a while now.

“Isn’t that the truth,” she agreed solemnly. Folding her hands into her lap, Hekate leaned her head back and looked up at the sky thoughtfully. How long had it been since she spent time around one of her own? Half of a year maybe, probably more if she bothered to count or keep track. The times when she powered up were sporadic at best, enough to appear ‘active’ and to spend time with her wraith but after years of trying to forge a connection with one, the Senshi of Jinxes felt more like the joke was on her. “I wonder if everyone has just given up.” It’s not like Destiny City was experiencing any sort of bad weather. At least not like it was last December and January. If anything, it felt like the temperature was finally starting to warm up. Nights like this were still nippy but making a quick trip to the grocery store mid-afternoon didn’t really warrant a thick winter jacket anymore. “For as long as we’ve been fighting, it never felt like any faction was gaining any headway.” Even though he was an Eternal, she was willing to bet she was awakened before him. Not that it was a competition of course.

"Perhaps....it seems like this war has dragged on for a long time." And he did mean it when he said dragged on. Nothing big was happening...just little things, here and there, that all seemed self contained and personal. Nothing that would bring any side closer to winning this war. It seemed pointless in this city really.
"I agree. It's all at a stand still. It makes me wonder what the point is? Why do we go out and why do we gather energy. It helps the wraiths and mirrorspace. But it doesn't further us really. We're just existing...and so are the other sides in this mess." It meant he was also trying to focus, and think, about his personal life. He dealt more with his personal life...though he was friends only with those in his own court so everything tended to blend together a bit. It made making big choices, like he was considering now, hard to do as well. He didn't want to ruin friendships and alliances...he didn't want to ruin his family.
