Hares
Commonly found in: The Forest, The Redwoods, The Waylands.
    Diet: Herbivore
    Rarity: Common
Tribe dependent?: Yes! Hares do better in large groups, or bound to a Wolf for protection.

    • Some wolves would say that it is a bad idea to become friends with your food, but more than one has chosen a hare as a companion. Alert, quick and loving, the hare can definitively be useful. On the other hand, they are not always the most intelligence of creatures and can be extremely skittish, especially around wolves they don’t know.

Crows
Commonly found in: The Forest, The Redwoods, The Bluestone, The Run, The Waylands.
    Diet: Omnivore
    Rarity: Common
Tribe dependent?: The Crow can live fine in a life of solitude, but there is always strength in numbers.

    • Now crows on the other hand are incredibility intelligent and demand respect from all of those who stop to listen to their chatter. A wolf would be wise to befriend a bird that could act as their eyes above the tress. Crows are often used to carry messages from one place to another, but they do make for good companionship and conversations.

    Diet: Herbivore
    Rarity: Common
Tribe dependent?: Deer do better in numbers, and are often seen roaming in large herds, though it is not uncommon for one to bound to a Wolf, they usually stick to their own kind.

    • Strong and sturdy with a dash of cautious paranoia, common deer of Kells are often found traveling in herds and on rare occasion have been known to partner themselves with wolves for extra protection. Though these two species are often at odd ends, familiar bonds can grow between them if trust is earned, forming unorthodox but strong.

Wild Pony
Commonly found in: The Desert, The Bluestone, The Run
    Diet: Herbivore
    Rarity: Common
Tribe dependent?: Ponies do best in herds.

    • Wild Ponies are the largest herbivores of Kells and are natives to the Badlands; a recently discovered territory located far south, deep within the desert. They roam in herds, which at this point can span across the entire length of the continent, and are typically led by an older alpha mare. Those born and raised in their home territory are well equipped to handle the harsher climate and are capable of going much longer without water than your average mammal. As drinking holes are a luxury for desert dwellers, this is a particularly useful skill.
