Humans made such quaint things...and often pretty useful too. Take scrapyards, for example. They dumped all kinds of fun bits and bobs in the place, arranged for maximum fun in their acquisition!

So, naturally, once he learned about one, Chip just had to go visit and see if he could find anything cool. So far, nothing particularly cool yet...just a few little bits that he was pretty sure would make a nice burst of fire when properly motivated...

He had one of these spark plugs in his mouth when he spotted a cat--not an all around unexpected sight here, but this one had a star! "EY!" he called out, and dropped the spark plug. "Oops." He shook his head. "Find anything cool~?"

"Well, I didn't know about the place," the little cat replied cheerily. "And then I found it while I was wandering around. Lotsa stuff to dig through...And besides, smaller is better!" He nodded once, as if that was self-evident.

"I'm Chip!" He declared. "What're you looking for, Mr. Arthur?" He glanced around. Lots of metal. Cars. Some things that smelled a bit...so many possibilities.

Chip nodded enthusiastically. More metal was always good. “Oh, just looking around for now~” he replied cheerily. “Can you believe the sorts of stuff humans just throw away~? I don’t really need it, but it’s fun to try to figure out good uses for parts, ya know?”

He pawed the spark plug he’d been carrying, and blinked it into his space pocket. “Easier to reuse than make new if it works, too!”

It made an extra fun aesthetic, too, which was something Chip was more than happy to get in on.
