Dawn broke on Durem, its first rays of sunlight striking the Church of Mod.
Light streamed in the windows to reveal a large room decked out with pink and blue streamers, balloons, and party favors. A table was set up at the north wall with punch, snacks, and as much food as even Fiddler could handle.
In the corner, fast asleep, were Alliance and Kyraa, who had spend the entire night putting it together.

Alina stifled a yawn as she entered the large room. When she opened her eyes, she gasped softly at the sight of all the hard work Kyraa and Alliance had done. She headed over to the table, gently brushing her fingers over the tablecloth.
When she glanced at the couple asleep in the corner, she giggled quietly. So cute! She turned and flitted out of the room for a moment, coming back with a soft blanket to drape over the two napping Modists.

Was that spirit of Mod?
Oh, this is going to be a lovely morning.
She walks into the room quietly, seeking not to disturb the couple. They've worked so hard and have been so busy.
"Poor Kyraa. She's going to pitch a fit when she wakes up and sees those on her back."

Actumen snuck into the church through the main enterance, trying his best not to wake anyone who might be sleeping. He didn't enter the church often, but this was a special event he couldn't miss. "Happy anniversary." He thought to himself, then finally walked in to look around at the decorations.

Magpie entered the Church from the main entrance, nodded at the other early arrivals. She was touched by the cute scene of the couple napping in the corner, and glanced over the streamers, food and decorations. The brilliant Durem sunlight gleamed through the newly installed, beautiful stained glass windows, and she admired the figures and colors that were cast on the Church floor.
She smiled on this special day. "Thank Mod!"

Keptan slipped into the church via the front doors and took in his surroundings, followed closely by his puppy, ZZ. Taking note of the sleeping pair and merrily greeting the others who had arrived before, he walked up to the altar and put the bouquet of flowers down in front of it. Smiling, he turned around to survey the whole of the church and was impressed by the amount of work Alliance and Kyraa had done all through the night. It was a wonderful sight to see.
Resisting the urge to sneak to the food table and partake in secret, he took a seat and sat admiring the stained glass windows.

Cryllia entered the room, missing the decorations completely
*happy gaiaday to me...happy gaia day tooo me....* she sang softly to herself
*to me and the chu-urch, who were born on the same day* She smiles, as she looks up and sees the newly installed stain glass, then breaks down in silent tears - smiling.

William walked quietly into the hall, dressed in his best formal clothes. But since he almost always dressed formally, the effect was lost on the majority of people.
Looking up at the new windows, he let out a low, impressed whistle. He lowered his shades to get a better look at the beautiful works of art.
"Whoever made these is truly blessed by Mod, to have such skill." he said to himself.
He made his way to the food, and considered what he would try first.
