Good Traits tab• • 》 Loyal. Terrence might look like the shady type who usually betrays their friends, but he's actually the exact opposite. No matter how much he may seem to dislike you, if you're someone he recognizes and respects he will never turn his back on you. While he doesn't flaunt around this trait, his moral code will not allow him to turn on someone he's grown to appreciate. tab• • 》 Wise. Terrence might not have all the knowledge known to man, but he does have a decent amount of it. Being cooped up in the hospital with nothing but books to read tends to do that to you. He's the type of person who will search for an answer if he doesn't have one. He doesn't act on instinct most of the time, but there are rare times when his body does more before he can think. tab• • 》 Persistent. The word give up isn't in Ty's vocabulary. His whole likes he's suffered from his illness, and it's given him a type of mental toughness to him. He refused to give up and lose to his disease, and now he finally has a chance to leave the confines of his prison. Due to this, he's very persistent and won't give up even if what he wants to do may be impossible at first. He'll search for another way, until he finds what he's looking for. Bad Traits tab• • 》 Stubborn. Even though Ty is persistent, that's not always a good thing. Especially if he's snooping around where he isn't supposed to be. While Ty is cautious, and doesn't break the law that doesn't mean he won't find loop holes to do so. His will to not give up can blind him sometimes, and can get him into more trouble then he should be in. tab• • 》 Over-protective. Once you get to know Terrence, you'll start to see him... hover a bit more. Terrence tends to go into "mother hen mode" when those he's close with are facing some difficulties. He can sometimes be see as the person who worries unnecessarily about everything because he always wants to be prepared. Even though he's initially seen as a jerk, Terrence has a surprising inner shell... a part of himself he tends to hide away from prying eyes. tab• • 》 Self-centered. Ty often cares more about others then himself, and their in lies his biggest problem. He doesn't take into consideration how others might feel about him keeping his health issues a secret. While he tends to hide when he's feeling unwell so that no one worries, it has the opposite effect. Often times he's been called out for being selfish and keeping his problems to himself. He's been asked many times why he's allowed to worry for others, but they're not allowed to worry about him. For this reason, he's been considered self-centered at times.

Strengths tab• • 》 Researching Medicine. Being hospitalized for a majority of his life, Ty has a lot of experience with drugs and herbs. He'd often research it, and have to take some himself for his illness. It was always one of his biggest fascinations, and deep down he hopes that he can prevent others from going through what he did. tab• • 》 Cooking and Baking. When he wasn't in the hospital, or reading a book he was often times with his mother. Since he couldn't go outside, his mother decided to teach him how to cook and bake. It was a welcome distraction, and helped him pass the time while he was inside. Since going outside to play wasn't possible at the time, this was something he could do in the meantime. tab• • 》 Reading Difficult Material. With only books at his disposal in the hospital, most of the time he would have his nose stuck in a book. He's been reading for years, and thus his skill level for reading harder materials has grown as a result. Deciphering texts isn't easy, but with his knowledge he can almost always figure out what the text is trying to say. Weaknesses tab• • 》 Being a Burden. His parents may never admit this out loud, but taking care of him was a huge deal. They'd have to make sure he was always inside, and make sure he took his medicine. He prevented his parents from going places they'd want to go, and it was a huge financial issue as well. He knows his parents love him, but it doesn't change the fact that he dragged people down because of his illness. tab• • 》 Asthma. His illness prevents him from doing many different things. His body if frailer then a normal males, and he can't really do much physical activity either. He relies heavily on his medication, as well as any herbal recipes he can make along the way. This prevents him from adventuring more, and in turn can slow down anyone who he's traveling with. Not to mention if it rains, he has to be extra careful not to get sick. tab• • 》 Heights. Terrence would much rather stick to lower ground. He's not too fond of the possibility that he could fall to his death with one wrong move. He's terrified of the idea, and tends to freeze up and panic a bit when he does see just how far high up he is.

Quirks and Habits tab• • 》 Terrence tends to use logic then emotion when he makes decisions. However, there are rare times emotion rules over logic and that's when someone very close to him is in danger. All logic is thrown out the window at that point. tab• • 》 Drinking tea is something Terrence does daily. He loves learning about new teas, as well as experimenting with different herbs to get different flavors. Since he researches herbs for medicinal use, this is more of a hobby he does when he has some free time. tab• • 》 Ty tends to hide when he's feeling unwell. He doesn't want to worry anyone, and he also doesn't want to go back into the hospital. He tends to play it off, hoping that he can get through the day without an attack happening. Aspirations tab• • 》 Becoming a doctor. Terrence wants to one day become a doctor and help people with problems like he himself has. He knows how painful the experience can be, and if he can help prevent someone from going through what he did then he wants to do that. tab• • 》 Researching medical herbs. Since he wants to one day become a certified doctor he's also very interested in herbs, and what medical effects they can have. He usually always has his nose in a book, and he likes to find what uses certain plants have. You never know if it could be used to save a life. Fears tab• • 》 Being a burden. Terrence hates the idea that he is dragging others down with him. Since he can't do certain things, he feels like he's limited other peoples options. Like he's caged them in. He knows what it's like to be restricted, and he doesn't want anyone else to go through that pain. tab• • 》 Failure. Terrence doesn't like not being able to achieve his goal. At the end of the day, failure meant that he'd die. That was what he went through most of his life as he battled his illness. He doesn't want to fail, because the consequence of doing so may be more then he can handle. tab• • 》 Hospitals. This is his biggest nightmare. He never wants to be sent back into that prison ever again. He's spent most of his life locked up in a little white room, and he doesn't ever want to go back. He wants to actually live his life, and that's apart of the reason he tries to hide his illness from others. If they found out, they might force him to go back. He'd rather suffer outside while living his life, then go back to that prison.

Biography tab• • 》 Ty is the youngest child in his family, and also the weakest. He was born per-maturely and as a result got Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, or Chronic Lung Disease. He was very small, and weighed small as well. He had a rough time as a baby, and due to his weak lungs he got a severe case of it. Having no cure, the doctors did their best to help him pull through. Mechanical ventilators were used in order to help with his breathing since his lungs were too immature for him to breathe on his own. After getting some X-rays the doctors tried to explain the situation to his parents and siblings, showing them his spongy like lungs. There wasn't much they could do but hope, and so Ty spent most of his childhood in a hospital room. After coming through the more critical stages of BPD, it was clear that Ty was going to have longer-term complications. The doctors then had to explain that he was at risk for respiratory infections, such as influenza (the flu), and pneumonia. They also warned them that when he get an infection, he would tend to get sicker than most children do because of his disease. Taking this to heart, his parents made sure to do what they could for him in order to allow him to grow up healthy.
His siblings often times played rough, but were always gentle around Ty. In a way, he was almost like a very fragile toy. They could play with him yes, but they had to be careful with him as well because of his weak lungs. Everything seemed to be going well, and Ty only had a few minor problems with his lungs. That is until he turned 8. His parents were cooped up in the kitchen cooking while his siblings were goofing off and playing with their parents pokemon. Ty, noticing that it was snowing out decided to go outside and investigate what the white stuff outside felt like. Sure he was told about it by his siblings, but they never actually let him outside to experience it for himself. So he moved closer to the snow, and finally got the courage to touch it. Icy cold to the touch, Ty removed his small fingers from the snow as he looked it over in shock. It was just like what his brothers had said! Cold to the touch, and it was squishy in its own right too! Thinking nothing of it, and ignoring his parents warnings not to play in the snow.
He played and played and played for as long as he could remember. However, something stung in his chest. The once pleasant cool air stung, and his breaths were more shallow and ragged. He hadn't noticed how the once friendly looking snow had turned into something that hurt. He was confused, he had only played around in it for a little while so why did his lungs burn? Grasping his chest, be made a pained face and moved his legs back towards the house. His parents seemed to have been looking for him, and when they noticed him come inside they ran over. At first they scolded him and told him he knew better, however, they got concerned as they noticed his pained face. His mother asked what was wrong and all Ty responded was that his chest felt funny, and that it hurt. His mother took him to the doctor as soon as she could after hearing those words. It seems that even though Ty seemed to tough out his Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, he had in fact developed Asthma. Asthma had been common in his fathers side of the family, and due to his already weakened lungs Ty too also got the disease.
His doctor made sure to run some tests on him to see how severe it was. It seemed that he was at a more mild stage, however, playing in the snow had aggravated his lungs and caused a more severe reaction. After that he was told to stay in the hospital for a while more. Being in the hospital was normal for Ty, and so he simply read more books and learned more about medicine. After finally being released from the hospital, he was told that he needed to avoid straining himself and that he needed to refrain from overexerting himself. His mother made sure he carried his inhaler full of Albuterol (medicine) with him at all times. As life went on Ty had a few cases of asthma attacks, but he relatively had a handle on them. His illnesses, however, caused him to be interested in medicine and has even caused him to want to be a Researcher some day. Having the knowledge to help both pokemon and people alike was something he found very cool. So he somehow managed to get his parents to let him go out on his own journey with the promise that he'll take care of himself.
