The world of Lamagos consists of one continent that is divided into six different regions which are then divided into different kingdoms. There are five major regions that form the continent: Cenower, Desumawet, Fetiranest, Barstenor, and Wefetsoh Alliance. There are numerous islands surrounding the continent which form the last region. One of which is the Holy Island or Makogis Isle and it is considered sacred ground and not part of any kingdom.

There is no modern technology as we know it so in order to travel one must walk, ride a horse, or ride in a carriage. Communication is through letters although there is a new invention called the telephone but it is unreliable and only the rich have access to it. Humans are the primary occupants of the world at this time but in the past there used to be many Makogis that roamed the continent and islands.

Much of the world is skeptical of the Makogis returning, whether it's outright not believing that they exist or just skeptical that it's a good thing. Some regions and some cities are more tolerant of them while others follow the True God religion or at least believe their words that the Makogis are responsible for any disaster befalling the world and hold great disdain for the Makogis.

There are many hidden little villages, some of just Makogis and some that are a mixture of Makogis and humans, throughout the world. There are also villages so small that they don't show up on any maps. So there are plenty of places for any Makogis to hide from prying eyes and there are many unexplored areas for them to discover!

Makogis Isle

The Makogis Isle holds all the shrines of the Gods and Goddesses and was filled with masks. Now-a-days it is hard to find any of the masks the Gods and Goddesses left for the people to care for. It is a tourist spot now but in the past it was a place of worship and where pilgrims would go when on a pilgrimage. You have to take a ferry to reach the island. There appears to be no one living on this island and strange things happen to those that try to stay overnight or at least to those who have made it to the next day. Majority of people and Makogis that stay on the island after dark tend to disappear and are never heard from again. Thus it is the rule of those running the 'main' shrine that all visitors and staff have to leave the island on the last ferry when the night bell tolls. The ferry picks up the staff at 6 am every morning so they can prepare the shrine for the day. The ferry opens to all others at 8 am and does the last run at 6 pm.

Makogis Isle is mostly in ruins save for the ‘main’ shrine since that is the one the tourists all go to. Many never venture past the shrine but it is rumored that if you do you can find some ruins representing each region. Also it is interesting to note that no one understands how many shrines exist on the Makogis Isle and how it seems to be so big, as it has been charted from the sea and is known to be a certain size. Yet still the island holds more than it is physically possible. This had once been explained that the island is home of the gods and goddesses and thus a form of heaven and knows no boundaries that we humans place on it. During the night the island is covered in a heavy fog making it impossible to sail to and may help explain why so many go missing when they stayed overnight.

((In terms for roleplaying, the island is only open for rp in the 'main' shrine during the day. The island is closed at night with anyone staying overnight disappearing so as of right now there should be no nighttime rps on Makogis Isle. Things about the island will be discovered during Meta events and may even open up different areas for rp))

Fetiranest

Fetiranest is the most fertile land and home to many farms and several kingdoms. This region lies to the east. They are Feramenst Kingdom, Tilarad Kingdom, Lefallost Kingdom. Fetiranest is now the second largest region since Wefetsoh Alliance had been invaded by Desumawet.

Feramenst Kingdom lies to the northern area of this region. It's capital city is Watehorst. This city is right next to the mountains and was first built as a guard fort to watch for the northern lands of Barstenor in case of invasion. As such Fermamenst puts more emphasis on strong warriors than farmers. Many knights come from this kingdom and the capital city is best known for it's school dedicated to training knights.

Tilarad Kingdom lies in the middle of the region between the other two kingdoms. It's capital city is Agricett and has dedicated much of it's time to developing the latest technology and practices for farming. It is known as the hub of farming and agriculture in the world.

Lefallost Kingdom lies to the south of the region is the kingdom one most travel to in order to reach Makogis Isle. The capital city here is Portosinte and is hustling hub of trade and travel by sea. This is the second largest kingdom in this region for agriculture but it is behind Tilarad kingdom in the development of agriculture tools and practices.

Wefetsoh Alliance

Wefetsoh Alliance is the land with the most water and lies to the south. There are many forests in this area and many lakes. However this is slowly changing due to the desert in Desumawet expanding into this area as well as the fact that Desumawet has invaded and conquered a portion of land that used to be part of the Alliance.

There is only one capital city, called Fosipunti, in the Wefetsoh Alliance but the eight other large cities all have a lord that rules the city and some of the surrounding area. These lords form the Alliance this region is named after.

Fishing and hunting are the main sources of food and money besides the trade that comes in via ships at the port towns. Every year there is a huge hunting contest that the lords put on in the nearby forest. This competition used to be held in the large southern forest, name Hunestod Forest, however the location was changed after an incident that nearly killed several of the ruling lords.

Desumawet

Map Key: Star - Shrine; Triangle - Ruins; Dot - City (small dots are villages); Square with Dot - Capital/Main City; Dashed lines - Boundary of Regions and Kingdoms; Dotted lines - Roads; Grey ^ - Mountains; Green Trees - Forests; Green half circles - Hills; Darker tan color - Desert

Desumawet is the largest region off to the west having invaded parts of Barstenor and Wefetsoh Alliance and taken them over. The western portion is the hottest area and holds a huge desert. Desspira Desert, that is slowly growing towards the south and destroying Wefetsoh Alliance. There are several kingdoms in this region, more than any of the others besides the Islands. They are Osider, Decosullet, Sidepinst, and Adenesir.

Osider is a kingdom in the center of Desumawet but is to the west and by the ocean. It's capital, Piros, is also a port city and home to many warriors and pirates. Compared to much of the world it is a dangerous land being by the ocean and nearly consumed by the desert. The center area of this region is said to be one of the hottest places.

Sidepinst is also a kingdom that is in the center of Desumawet however it is on the side closer to Cenower. The Desspira Desert is slowly growing into this region as well and they are trying to work on ways to help slow or stop the spread. The capital, Scholiser, is known for it's scholars and various schools. Many flock here to learn about various things despite the growing heat.

Decosullet is the kingdom to the north that had invaded and conquered part of Barstenor. They had invaded to gain some farm lands and new water source as the Desspira Desert had slowly grown past the capital city and began to contaminate and shrink the lake that was next to the city. The capital city still remains there but may have to relocate if the water source ever disappears. The capital is called Colkkio.

Adenesir is the kingdom to the south that had invaded and conquered part of the Wefetsoh Alliance. While the desert hasn't grown in this direction as much as the others they needed more fertile lands to help trade food to Osider in order to keep them from invading. The capital city is Rivandon.

Barstenor

Map Key: Star - Shrine; Triangle - Ruins; Dot - City (small dots are villages); Square with Dot - Capital/Main City; Dashed lines - Boundary of Regions and Kingdoms; Dotted lines - Roads; Grey ^ - Mountains; Green Trees - Forests; Green half circles - Hills; Darker tan color - Desert

Barstenor, a region to the north, is a harsh land barren of most life. Barstenor is the coldest region especially the further north you go. A couple of mountain ranges in the southern portions to the west and east form a natural barrier and boundary of the region. There are a couple of old kingdoms remaining, Corinnoth Kingdom and Norgaerl Kingdom, but they face constant threat from Desumawet. Corinnoth Kingdom is to the eastern side while Norgaerl Kingdom is the one more in the center of Barstenor and controls the flow of people to the north between the two mountain ranges.

The capital city of Corinnoth Kingdom is Udoruideth which is said to have been built upon ancient ruins. So far no one has proven this so it said to just be a founding legend to justify building the city where it is. This kingdom is ruled by an old king who had lost his sons previously. Many fear that the kingdom will fall after the king passes away as he has no heir. Others believe that the noble council will take over and place a puppet ruler in place.

The capital city of Norgaerl Kingdom is Fozaki which lies very close to a large lake that is majority of the year frozen. This kingdom is ruled by a young queen who quickly made a name for herself in repelling attempts to invade her lands from the passage way between the two mountain ranges. She is said to be a fierce but wise ruler and many in the lands of the north praise her.

Desumawet invaded the western region below the mountain range in the past and conquered the land there that was previously a third kingdom that was part of Barstenor. That kingdom fell with the conquest and it's name has been lost in the passage of time. So far Desumawet hasn't been able to get past the mountain barrier.

Cenower

Map Key: Star - Shrine; Triangle - Ruins; Dot - City (small dots are villages); Square with Dot - Capital/Main City; Dashed lines - Boundary of Regions and Kingdoms; Dotted lines - Roads; Grey ^ - Mountains; Green Trees - Forests; Green half circles - Hills; Darker tan color - Desert

Cenower is by far the most complex region as it is home to only region with one kingdom, which the region is named after, which is trying to introduce a new religion. The rulers of Cenower hate the idea of the Gods and Godesses and punishes all those who speak about them unless it is to curse them. Naturally no one speaks of them here and many living here do not believe anyways. This is the most inhospitable region for a Makogis to live in due to the True God religion making it's home here.

The capital city is a bustling hub of people and commerce. This is the place to be where the wealthy, well connected, or those who want to make a splash come to. If you want to make a name for yourself this is the place to do it. There is a towering building in the center of the capital that is home to the 'new' god, the one true god according to the religion aptly named the True God religion that was introduced here.

Due to this religion Makogis are not looked upon favorably in this region, especially in the capital. Any Makogis in the capital city should take care otherwise they may be captured by the city guard and disappear to who knows where. Most Makogis that live in this region choose to live in hidden little villages that consist solely of Makogis with maybe a few chosen humans who they have bonded to. Even the smallest human settlements in Cenower look upon Makogis with disdain and would likely report any sightings to the priests of the True God religion.
