I was just curious to know what people's favorite manga magazine was (It can be one of the ones from Japan, or one of the English ones, or whatever). I like Hana to Yume and Be Boys.

I'd have to say Shonen Jump.
It used to be Animerica, but then my stores stopped getting it, and then it was NewType, but then I got so damned sick of those stupid commercials on all of their anime so I stopped buying them just to spite them stare

I like Newtype too but I don't get to buy it that often, same goes for shonen jump ^^;

I dont like Shonen Jump all that much... Maybe if they get something thats not DBZ and Yugioh...

I like DBZ and Yugioh but yeah it is everywhere and they could put something that is not everywhere in there to try and get it some more publicityXP

New Type was okay untill they decided that they will only give the free dvd to subscribed buyers. Shounen Jump that's released by viz is okay, though they don't really have any manga that I'm all that interested in. I have scanlations of Hikaru no Go, and I'll probably just order it from Japan.

Man shows ya how long its been since I picked up a copy of New Type, they only give the DVD to subscribe buyers now? That really sucks, yeah that was one of the best parts of the magazine, I love reading all the stuph but 10 dollars is a lot to pay for a magazine thats why I don't get it that often.

They are expensive, and it's expensive to subscribe. I only occasionally bought New Type. My boss is pretty ticked that NT decided to put the dvd out to subscribers. I think they said something about that in one of the letters in the mail section thing. It wouldn't be too bad if they lowered the price in the stores considerably, but I doubt they'd do that. They want all of our money to go directly to them, rather than have the stores make commisions from it.

Rajin? I really like the series Bow Wow Wata that is in their magazines. I ended up just buying the mangas instead of Rajin though b/c I wasn't that interested in most of the other mangas.

I like all magazines... Anime insider is ok, new type is good, but thy only give dvd's out to suscribers crying Shonen Jumps is good.
