Looks like there was a bug with checking on whitelisted sites, and it had just been fixed. Here is the list of sites that are whitelisted. Currently Imgur is a good source for storing and sharing images. Though Gaia will have its own image hosting feature soon.

Yes we will ask community for feedback on IM for the webpage, meanwhile we will be working on PM for the mobile app

Sorry, looks like something must have been changed since we fixed the bug and now. We will have the feature fixed later today or tomorrow. The feature should be working for everyone.
In addition, Gaia auto now runs on "https" secure page rather than "http", and your web browser might need to have flash enabled for "https" on your browser to avoid seeing a white screen. We will see about adding some messaging to avoid white screen moving forward.

Youtube requires us to change the loading box to be launched in their new system, and unfortunately their new system does not allow for auto-play with sound. I can switch it back to the old one, but it will stop working soon.

My goal is an update like the December one, monthly.
But depending on my own personal schedule (as i do the recolors for it as well as picking the re-releases) we may see a month not get an update, but I'll be doing my best.

What is going to become of Gaia Fishing? I know a lot of browsers are turning away from Java, ie Chrome. Fishing is based entirely on java, right?
Also, the game hasn't seen must support lately and I was curious if we are just waiting for it to die off.

We are converting Towns to HTML5, then Fishing will follow. The old games run on Flash platform and the new games will run on HTML5 which is Javascript based, and that should work on all modern browsers moving forward.

Second I am not the person to fix the issue with the app, but on the other hand, I *can* help to resolve it when people do have issues, so having them PM me so I can contact the people in charge of this is actually a good thing as it gets users their Gaia Cash in a timely manner until the issue is resolved.

I'm sorry for how you felt about the recent released. Back in October we released an update with new stage and kins and those are all free. Though after that we do need to release some premium content to justify for the development cost as we do wish to keep the art team employed. It's difficult to juggle between providing only free content, and keeping a staff team running.

I had a question about the app in progress. I was wondering at what point in the timeline of development will forum 'post layouts' and images possibly be accessible/worked on? I'd love to be able to use the app, as it's much better than the mobile site, but due to how the RP forums are with images and post formats, most posts are entirely unreadable because the images don't load and (as far as I can tell with my lack of tech knowledge) everything else in the post gets shoved off the screen (and we can't scroll over to it either). I know it's more of a specific problem mainly confined to one forum (i.e. the RP forums) but it's a really big issue for any of us who are users of that forum and want to use the app.

Yes the forum area does have some redesigns coming. I'd love to be able to access all images too.

Are there any plans of putting more item re-releases into the Cash Shop? I just returned from a long break and there's a long list of items I've missed but it's hard to keep track of when specific items released when and a lot of items haven't had listings for long periods of time. Also, could there be an increase of direct item purchases? Gashas seem to be a reoccurring aspect of the Cash Shop but honestly, I would love to be able to just buy specific items directly even if it meant at a higher price markup. Sometimes it feels like the rarity of items in the Marketplace ends up being completely random because of scarcity and not for reasons such as most popular color or item popularity/use.

With our current shop system, it takes quite a bit of time to schedule and put everything in the shops that we release now.
We are doing our best for now with re-releases and will obviously be continuing to re-release things in various methods!
Maybe in the future we can have an easier method for things like this!

edit: I know I am not the only user who had GC stolen by this feature on that same day. There are other tickets submitted for this issue

One of our staff checked and the reason why you hadn't gotten a response is you filed a General Inquiry ticket rather than a Billing ticket. I have moved the ticket over to the correct queue and hopefully someone will get back to you A.S.A.P.

We reached out to maybe 8-10 users about this option with the Obsidian.
I believe of that number 2 took the GC refund, a couple wanted to keep their order and then some just never replied. sweatdrop
We will be trying with other ticket types in the future. We obviously don't expect everyone to be willing to take a GC refund on their ticket, but with our limited resources, its definitely helpful when some are willing.
Trust me, I want to see the queue handled as much as everyone else. I just wish I had more hours in the day and extra hands to do more! @n@ <3

There are many old items that I would love to see redone, if not by you guys then by users. One item that came to mind was Princess of the World. Do you have a concrete plan in place to push forward or address the project custom ticket queues, particularly for the tickets with submission dates from 2017?
We're entering 2020, and many of us are not happy with how the queue as a whole has been handled.

Other than moving forward with offering refunds on some of the larger scale tickets.
We've been trying to juggle what we can but with having the team we currently have it's hard to make any extreme jumps that make it more obvious we are trying, if that makes sense. Certain tickets just take a lot more time than others.
So like with one golden ticket, we can theoretically do like....6 baby goldens? But then there is also the issue of like how complex are those 6 baby goldens or that full golden.
Personally and this is just my opinion here, a bigger issue I see with some orders is that a user will try to sub for something thats very large scale and past what was like the idea that ticket was thought to be used for. So a one pose item could really end up being something taking the time to work on a 6 pose item. This isnt a super rare case,nor is it common, more so just an idea of how it can be?
TL;DR We want to work out a better plan to handle this, and we do hate how long this wait is, its just hard for our litle team to do it all but we are truly trying. gonk

What's next? As in, do you plan to focus more on making new Kin and Areas, update drops and existing areas, or add more to overall gameplay? Or is it lower on the priority totem pole?

We do have a lot of updates for other parts of the site and mobile app before we can get back to LK, but adding new kins and drops are definitely going to happen as small updates in between.

Flash games had been a big topic of discussion for the past year and we do have plans to port the most popular games onto HTML5. We are starting with Towns and will have an HTML5 version soon. Probably fishing is next, and we will go down the list to see which games should be ported over. Unfortunately there are other things such as events and site maintenance that preceded the priority for migrating flash games, but we are working on it.

Over the last few weeks, many of us have noticed that many of the fixed notification bugs have returned.
One is intermittently we will fail to receive any notices of replies to posts or new posts in our threads.
The other is any thread I'd posted in frequently, suscribed to or started, I'll get a notification of new posts when I was the last one to post, often up to a day or more ago. It means a lot of unnecessary checking.
