 Darkness Comes Quickly wandered the bluestone mountains, an area that had once been home to his family and a place that he had been drawn back to now that he was older and on his own. He felt a connection to the chilly mountain air. This was where he wanted to be and he hoped he would be able to find a pack to join. He didn't want to live alone. He also did not want to face winter on his own, so finding a pack was his top priority. He also hoped he would find a mate someday, but that was second to him over trying to find other wolves to live with.

Mistress started making her way through the moutains; a new place to sniff about to see what wolves and packs were in the area. She loved new places where no one knew who she was, or her antics, which always caused issues for her in the area. "Lets see what troubles I get into up here." She really wasn't worried if she would run into a scout for a nearby pack. She always had her way to flirt out of confrontation, male or female, both were the same for Mistress. She just loved companionship. She wasn't the one who liked to be in the spot light, but she was the one that liked to catch the attention of anyone in the area.
Very calm, cool, and flirty.
There must be someone around these parts.
It was a little chilly for Mistress, she much rather perfer a little warmer of a climate, but these were uncharted areas for Mistress. She was willing to sacrifice a bit to find new 'friends'.

Darkness Comes Quickly continued on, he wasn't bothered by the chill of the mountains it was a comfort to him really. He didn't look for trouble and trouble did not really find him very often. He didn't think he would find anything strange today. He figured it would be a calm normal day. He hoped whatever happened he would be one step closer to figuring out where he would be living for the winter and to find a place where he could belong.

Why did I come up this wintery peak?
Mistress started to trudge along the snowy peaks until her eyes settled on a darker wolf that happened to be making his way through the snow. With a peaked interest, Mistress started to walk around so that should go get down wind from the good looking male wolf that had happened along her path. She was never one to make the first move. She always wanted her males to be more manly in the fact that she would rather them make the first move to show interest than her come up them.
Don't get Mistress wrong tho, she would gadly walk about to any male that she had her eyes on, but in this type of setting, she would rather the male set eyes on her and approach. She might not be a scout or a hunter in a pack, but that didn't mean she had the capablility of knowing where she needed to be to hunt her prey, or to be the one to be seen.
Heading downwind from the male so he could pick up her scent, she found a fallen log that she could easily perch herself on. Laying down with her front paws hanging, she started to lick at her paws, awaiting for the incoming male to make a remark.

Darkness looked at the female who looked back at him, but she did not make her way to him and it was not his way to be bold and make a move on a female. He was quiet and standoffish, so this meeting might end up being nothing more than two wolves meeting and moving on and there was nothing wrong with that. Darkness did not seek out friends or mates at any amount of speed. If the right set of chances happened and the stars aligned then perhaps he would find someone who would understand him without a lot of words, he nodded his head to the female to let her know he meant her no harm.

What a shy wolf.
Mistress chuckled as she jumped down from the log that had been her perch for a bit. She guessed that she would have to be the one to make her way over to him, just to strike up some conversation. She really didn't have much to say. Maybe this male was in a pack, maybe he was a loner. Whichever way it was, she would at least have her fun and move on her way.
"Hello, what bring a lone wolf like yourself out to the frgid color tundra of these mountain? Mistress let the words roll off her tough in a semi-flirtatious matter. Even if she could get a free meal out of these encounter, she would be fine with that.

Darkness totally missed the flirting in her tone and was just unsure what to do with this female. He wasn't sure if he wanted to answer her or he would prefer to just take off because she made him uncomfortable. This female just did not inspire him to open up, not like that one female, but she didn't seem to be interested in him as anything more than friends. A pity since he had connected with her and had felt like he could tell her things. This female he just shrugged his shoulders, he didn't feel the need to tell her he was seeking a home since he didn't think she would be looking for the same thing. (Sorry Darkness is fickle >.< )

Not very talkative eh?
Mistress kinda just looked at this darkened colored wolf with pretty speckles that lined his back. She could tell he was shy, too shy for her taste. Thinking to herself, she decided to change her tone with this male. She wouldn't look for anything special from this boy since it seemed she would either have to teach him to survive or at least be able to defend himself.
She was a female with a medium stature so absolutely not threatening. Deciding to change up her ways, she stopped in her tracks and took a few steps backward before changing her posture and stance.
"Sorry if I came up too strong, just don't see many faces up here. I'm ..Midnight."
Deciding to change her nickname to something less flirtatious at the last second to hopefully make the other wolf less uncomfortable.

Darkness did not wish to be totally rude to the female so he at least would give her his name. "Darkness Comes Quickly." He said softly and then looked around considering where he would head next on his journey. He would need to move quickly to find a pack before winter came. It was very important to him that he finds a home and pack before winter and these mountains called to him. He would not stop this female from following him to seek a pack if she decided to follow him. He had no reason to growl or try to scare her away, but he did not feel the desire to be friends with her at this point either.

Hm....
This wolf did not seem like the talkative type. Mistress knew she was a lot to take in and could be a bit forward, but she did not think she was too daring with this boy here. Maybe he was that naive and shy around other females. None the less, she was wasting the perfect time to find another wolf to help her get a meal or such. With a smile and a nod, she stood up from her relaxed stance.
"Well if you have other things on your mind... which is seems you do Darkness... I shall leave you on your own. Maybe I'll see you in passing in the future."
It seemed like a waste of time for her to keep trying to talk to a wolf, male or not if they did not seem to even carry even the slightest bit of conversation. She was not sure how this wolf was ever going to find a mate or a pack if he held his tongue and acted liked a pushover.
Oh well, it was not her worry anymore. Turning her back on him, fully unworried that he would attack her at this point.
