Quote: It starts off quietly at first. A single, tinkling sound that starts at the back of mind. You think it’s nothing. Ringing in the ears isn’t anything new. But soon enough it rings and rings and rings, to the point where you simply know it’s something more than simple tinnitus. It grows so loudly, developing into a sound beyond the confines of your home. A mighty urge overtakes you, forcing you out of wherever you are and filling you with a desperate need to locate that awful ringing. For some, it feels like you walk for hours and hours, for others, mere moments, but either way, you find yourself before a shimmering, frosted archway blocking your path into what seems to be the woods. It seems almost like fogged glass fills it, but you can clearly feel a breeze through it, and when you push your hand through, it gives no resistance. You choose to... 1.) Walk through the arch 2.) Walk around the arch 3.) Turn around to leave

Arthur had sent a text to Bryia asking if she could meet him to talk about her new life as a senshi seeing how displeased she was, he wanted to give her as much guidance and attention he could afford to make the transition as easy as it could and show that it wasn't all that bad. Though, if he couldn't sway her heart on the matter, she could decide not to power up at all. As much as that felt like a failure on him for his own guidance, he wouldn't blame her in the least.
He had met up with her on a side street as the sun at night. The sun had gone down ages ago and the wind was cold. He had hoped she brought a cost but he kept one in his own pocket if she needed it and packed her a hat and mittens too just in case as he wasn't sure how long they would be out.
After greeting her, he went to lead her to a place that was hidden away when he heard an awful ringing. It just got louder too and he shook his head as he walked. Being near dead in one ear meant ringing did happen, but it wasn't going down. "I hope you didn't have a hard time changing and leaving your home." He said over the noise in his head.

Getting a text from Arthur wasn't a surprise, he had said he'd be around to offer help and offer his knowledge. She wasn't really sure what to do with these magic powers or if having them was even a good idea, but it was too late to take it back now. When she was almost to the meeting place for Arthur she started hearing an annoying ringing in her ears. She must have looked strange when Arthur met her, with the mouth opening and closing like a fish as she attempted to pop her ears to end the annoying sound. "My aunt doesn't try to stop me anymore, I just come and go as I please. Not sure if she does it out of laziness or pity at this point." Bryia wasn't above using someone's feelings against them for her own gains but it didn't mean she didn't feel regret at times for doing it. "What did you want to meet out here for?

"Well, that's very helpful then. But do be careful to regulate your sleeping with your school and life. But if you ever need a place to say you are sleeping over, make up some lie that I'm a friend and come over. I'd rather you recover at my place possibly getting fixed up or whatever you may need than going home in a poor state." He said, moving along as they walked and stopping again to bat at his ear.
It was getting worse.
"Huh- what? What did you say? Sorry I'm - my one bad ear is going off. Just give me a moment."

Looking down at Arthur trying to bat something out of his ear. She figured he might have the same ringing as her. It was amazing no matter what a cat did it was always cute, why do cats have it so lucky? As she looked away from Arthur she turned to see what looked like a randomly large forest before them. In front of them was a large frosted archway. Bryia tapped Arthur on the head a few times to get his attention. "Whiskers," she pointed to the archway. "Is this what you wanted to show me?"

The ringing got painfully loud like being next to a grandfather clock before he felt Bryia tap him. Turning up with a 'prrt?,' he looked around and at the crazy archway that was before them.
The noise suddenly went dead.
"THAT was not here before. I was just taking you to a empty space beside from trees." And there weren't this many trees. In fact, the whole place was different than the day before, and the hairs on his back raised as he looked at it.
There seemed to be no one here and no decorations indicating an event of some sort for why an archway would be here. There was just the woods and the frozen glass that had swirling fog inside. Despite how solid it looked, there was a rush of cold air running through it.
"Be on alert. This might be something odd." This said as he sniffed the air and the archway.
Still puffed and with a bristled tail, he moved closer and then through it.
Option 1: Walk through the archway.Quote: As you brave your way through the arch, a blinding light catches your eye, and you squeeze them shut for just a moment. When you open them once again, your skin is shimmering, touched by frost and glistening with what rings in your mind as ‘winter’s blessing’ You feel neither warm or cold, a perfect balance of temperature touches you, where you cannot tell where the air ends and your skin begins. It’s strange and unsettling, but you do not feel unsafe. A pair of voices ring out at the same time within your head. “You’re just in time, Welcome!” Though you look around, you find no one. Arthur was even more puffed now and looked around, trying to locate the voices that spoke out to them. "DID YOU HEAR THAT?" He asked Bryia, hoping he wasn't the only one. At least the terrible ringing was gone, but he didn't want to know he was hearing strange voices now.
Even stranger was the sheen to his already white fur. It was like he was dipped in a shimmering white snow, and he looked at his paws and licked it, finding it still felt like fur. The cold chill from before vanished and he was left as comfortable as if he was sitting back home on his couch.
He moved over to Byia and jumped up upon her shoulders to look up at a higher vantage point.

Curiosity killed the cat, she thought as Arthur talked through the arch. Once he had made it through she figured it must be safe to step through at least. She followed behind, noticing that at least the annoying ringing was gone. until after she stepped through and hears the voices speak to her. "It's not just you, I heard it too." Suddenly she felt something on her shoulder, but it was only Arthur. In front of them the path looks to be cleared, a path of crystal like bricks with small lights lead the way. Beyond path there is a larger building off in the distance, what appears to be a cathedral. Soon the sound of bells ringing filled her ears again. "Well, I guess we know where we need to go for answers..." Option 2: Head towards the cathedral.Quote: Despite the ominous feeling of being in this strange place, you do not feel unwelcome… And despite that your entrance may not have been so peaceful, you head forward. If you were hot or cold earlier, you began to even out to that same, blissful balance between the air and your skin. Every step seems to be in time with a bell chime, and somewhere along the line you look down to find that your clothing has changed. Powered or no, your outfit reflects something far more formal, and in your grasp you find a small coin: an invitation token. It appears out of nowhere, but you feel very comfortable with your new appearance. It feels… Natural. Right. Simply made for you. A pleased sound could be heard from the woods around you as you go about your way. Every step she took the bells rang, it was almost like walking home listening to music and moving to the music in a way. As she was walking she noticed something was off, when she looked down her clothing had changed... again. Now in a long formal dress though it did nothing to hide the buldge under the dress. She wondered if this is what it's like to be a guy... "Any idea what this place is oh knowledgeable one?" Turning to look at Arthur

Head towards the cathedral
"No. I have no idea what this place is. We don't have anything in the database about it, and it doesn't seem to be written anywhere I know of. I'm just as confused as you are." He said, and noticed that, despite being on her, he had not caught her dress changed till now. It was a stylish, elegant arrangement that made her ready to see an opera or a ballet.
He jumped down to test his own theory and shifted in place to that of his humanoid self. As if predicting this would also happen, he was set in a sleek tuxedo with a dark blue satin vest. Golden star buttons lined up his front and his hair was tied back into a short ponytail by a blue stain ribbon. He adjusted his glassed and regarded himself. "I should buy myself a suit." He said, liking the look very much.
He offered his hand in a bow to her. "Would you do me the honor of accompanying me to this crazy sideshow this is for the evening?"
There was nothing that said you could have some fun with the unexplained. Maybe he'd get a kick out of it before something dangerous happened. For now though, it seemed only comforting and inviting here.

Arthur had jumped off her so quickly she didn't notice him transform until he offered his hand to her. She rolled her eyes, he was having too much fun with this. However, she hadn't had magic very long and maybe stuff like this was normal and she just never noticed before. "Well, I wasn't planning on having a date with a furry today Whiskers," She smiled and placed her hand in his before raising her head in a performance that would have made one of the drama nerds jealous. "Lead the way, dear Sir."

"If you want to call me something strange, I prefer alien over furry. I don't pretend to be a cat. I'm just unfortunate enough to be be mistaken as one, though it could be worse. My race could look like piglets or spiders. Imagine how many people would listen to a giant, talking spider." He joked, taking her hand and tucking her elbow with his as they walked.
"I have no idea what's going on, but it's not every day someone else pays for a tuxedo and lets me play dashing prince for a night. I rarely do get to have fun like this so please, entertain a old Mauvian's request my dear lady."
"OR I could call you royalty with all this glittering snow, Highness." He teased, walking alongside her to the ringing of bells and the soft fall of snow.
"It is rather nice, whatever this all is." He inspected the token and turned it over between his fingers a few times. "I was hoping to do training but, well, experience like this is a good teacher too."

"I'm not really sure what this can teach, besides magic is strange." Despite herself Bryia had to admit it was calming walking down the path. Despite the frost, it wasn't cold. The bells continued to ring with each step but it wasn't the overwhelming sound it had been before. "So...." She wasn't great at small talk. Generally, if she had something on her mind she just said it. Today, however, she didn't really know what to say. "Have you trained many Senshi in the past? You said we're on the side of Order or something so I'm guessing you know or have trained others before us."

He smiled but didn't look at her for a moment. "I have trained a few, but there is only so much a guardian can do. We do not have much ability to fight like senshi and knights. Knights have weapons. Senshi have magic. I have only started training with another senshi to be better at combat so that I can take up the same responsibility I put on those I awaken. So I can struggle with them. But aside from giving them information, I do not have much power. Mauvians are rather weak. Most of us cannot change into look this appearance and when I do, it's not for very long. A few hours at most. Otherwise, we are stuck in a small cat body. The only ways to protect ourselves is to shoot a beam from our forehead star and we are exhausted after. I do wish I could be better at fighting to work alongside you all more though." He said, looking to her with a softening expression.
"The few senshi I have trained are few. Some I still see. Some - I do not know what has happened to them. Busy, moved on, and - well, I hate to think of anything else." He said, his expression creasing with old concerns.
"But I will be here for you as much as I am able." He said, patting her hand as they walked.
"In fact....I want to be a senshi some day."

"I'm confused you can choose to be a Senshi or a knight? I just kinda assumed all girls were Senshi and guys were knights with how medieval this all seems." She was trying to remember back to everything he said when they first transformed but it was all a little hazy. "You said knights get weapons and Senshi get magic, why can't Senshi get both? In theory, I can use a sword and magic. I've played lots of games where you can be a battle mage." Bryia only stopped for a second to take a breath and keep going. "Though those are games and this is real life but this is magic so what are the limitations on magic? Why does it stop me from using a sword?"

"Knights were appointed to protect their wonders and sometimes senshi. Their power comes from their wonder. A small place they pull their power from. A small sanctuary. A senshi pulls their power from a much larger place. Their magic given is from that larger place. A moon. A planet. Some kind of space object. Your power is passed down lifetime after lifetime after lifetime to you now. Usually this is magic. Knights were appointed and were given a weapon. That is just the nature of how things were and are now. Just as how I cannot use the power I pull from Planet Mau to be a sword. I can manipulated it into a beam but that is all. I cannot change it from my own limitations into something better or more useful."
He knew it was frustrating to want a better power. Holding up the token, he turned it to one side. "Our sides are mirrors of each other. There are senshi like you and dark senshi on the Chaos side. There are knights on our side and Negaverse officers on the other. There are also Chaos Mauvians to what I serve. If you were on the other side, you would just be a dark senshi, and your magic would still be the same. Not even that changes your power. Knights would become officers. Their weapon would probably be much the same. We are all blessed and cursed on what we are given. We just make due with what he was to the best of our ability." He said, flipping the coin and then catching it before putting it in his pocket.
"You could try keeping a knife or a bat on you, but these weapons would do little in a fight between magical weapons and magic attacks. It would also take time to get them from your space pocket. Senshi attacks are there when you call them and get power powerful with time. But that doesn't mean you can't train your body too. Everyone can do that." He listened to the bells get louder. They were getting closer.
"I think we're almost here."

Arthur was right, as they were getting closer the scent of flowers seemed to fill the air. Bryia wasn't sure how long they'd been talking but now they found themselves in front of a pair of large doors. In front of the doors was a man in blue and red robes with gold trim, along with a funny-looking hat. Though after the last few days she wasn't going to comment on anyone's fashion sense at this point. Quote: The closer you get to the looming cathedral, the heavier the flowers’ scent becomes. The garlands soon become wreaths, then become rows and rows of woven treillage, finally meeting at a point right before a pair of great mahogany doors. In front of these massive doors stands a man draped in red and blue robes, embroidered with fine golden trim. The most striking thing about him is his hat, rising nearly a foot off his head and covered in jewels that you aren’t quite sure are real. It is magnificent, nonetheless. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, simply a man with a long list that runs onto the floor. Nothing out of the ordinary at all, except there feels to be something magical about him. If you are powered, you feel the energy from him, though it is neither Chaos nor Order. He is simply there and feels powerful. Eventually, he looks away from his list, and looks down at you over a pair of frameless glasses. “Hmm… Are you here for the flames, or the ice?” His voice is monotone, as if he’s asked this time and time again, and the longer you wait, the more annoyed he seems to become. After careful consideration, you answer that you’re here for… Bryia paused for a moment, flame or ice.... She didn't understand what he was asking, but figuring she would go along with it she choose. "The Flame." Choise 3: The FlameQuote: He nods, scratching something on his list, before offering you a ranunculus bloom, bright white like the fallen snow all around, and kissed by bluish frost. You take it, and immediately your hands feel freezing cold. The touch of it stings your palms, and though you try to shake it off, it remains. The man seems unconcerned, and ushers you inside those doors. It’s clear that to the right are a bunch of other shadowy figures, all with the same white flower as you. The guests here seem to not mind your presence, and there’s a seat right at the end of the last row for you. You take your seat, then the chill in your hands slowly eases into a comfortable warmth. Those bells begin to ring again, and soon enough, all heads turn towards the doors behind you. She takes the flower he offered, it was bright white with a little frost on it. Taking it into her hand it feels cold to the touch. So cold it stings a little but nothing more then an annoyance at most. She looks to Arthur to see what he picks
