When all is said and done, you find yourself at that very same arch you first came through.
No matter how you feel towards the end, you know that the night is over, and that it was finally time to leave (or you were finally allowed to leave).
The moment you pass through the arch again, you feel yourself start to fall. You are surrounded completely by an endless blizzard, the same you may have encountered had you wandered off the pathway earlier. Only this time, there are no ribbons to save you.
You black out, and when you next open your eyes, you’re near where you first arrived in the park, face down in the snow.
Your body aches as you drag yourself up, a hard night of partying (or not) has taken its toll, but as you head back home, you learn that no time has passed at all.
Whether or not this was real, or a strange hallucination caused by stress from just living in this city, you do not know… But you head home all the same, exhausted and pondering just what was it that you saw.
When you wake up the next morning, you find something on or near you that most certainly wasn’t there when you went to bed.

As suddenly as things seemed to have started, the ringing of the bells throughout the city, it seemed things were coming to an end. Liam couldn’t remember walking out of the church, nor could he remember just how things had ended, but he found himself at that odd archway. Looking around he felt himself yawning, it had been a long night, a lot had happened and he wasn’t even sure how it had all happened. Maybe he really would talk to Rhona about this all - in the morning.
Stepping through the arch, wanting to get home, he felt his bal;ance start to go and the ground rush up to meet him. He was falling but why? Landing in the snow he was glad for it, in a way, as it broke his fall and kept him from hurting himself terribly. Face planting into the ground was not known to be a good thing after all. Why was there so much snow? There hadn’t been when he’d arrived here earlier in the night, at least it felt like earlier in the night.
When his eyes closed he didn’t know but when the blue eyes opened again he was near to one of the parks main entrances. He couldn’t hear a lot of traffic, which was a good thing, but as he sat himself up he stood slowly. Everything hurt, likely from the fall, and he felt heavy as he headed himself home. As he continued walking things did ease up, like how working out a sore muscle tended to reduce the soreness, Liam was feeling better by the time he got home. That didn’t mean he was any less tired, he was still exhausted, but at least he didn’t arch and hurt so much.
Opening the front door he took the time to strip along the way to his bedroom, making a pit stop at the bathroom before climbing into bed, he really didn’t know what to think of tonight other than magic, plain and simple, magic had been involved and had even, according to his clock, kept him out for no time at all. Magic really did break all the rules, something he disliked, but Liam was getting used to it more and more as time went by.
While he swifted and turned, trying to get comfortable, Liam got up slowly and went to dig out a pen and paper from his desk. He needed to tell Rhona in the morning, and if he didn’t have a note he’d forget, so that’s just what he did - left himself a note. Scribbled out on loose leaf paper and left to sit on his bedside table was a note to tell Rhona. Note in place and pen put back on his desk, he didn’t wanna chance knocking it from the bedside table, Liam took a moment to stretch before slipping back under the covers. Turning his light off he settled in to sleep - finally.
“Strange...but not bad.” This time. This time had been innocent enough.
