In the shadows of the trees, a set of milky eyes watches. Whatever it is, it’s tall and bulky. If you walk quickly, you feel it follow you but once you leave the line of trees, it disappears. If you try to approach it, a great beast will screech at you: a six foot tall snowy white owl takes flight. It may tackle or claw at you, depending on how you approach it, but it will always take flight and disappear in the night. If you choose to attack it, for the next few nights any time you look out your window you will see glowing eyes in the distance--or worse, hear it scratching to get in. Eventually, the temperature rises and the visits stop. For now. Sachio watched his breath for a moment as he walked outside from his class on his way back to his dorm room. He couldn't stand having classes at night, but the teacher insisted upon it and had even insisted upon starting his first class on a Sunday. None of the other classes were at that time, and the class itself wasn't scheduled to be on the weekends, but no, they just had to start early and Sachio was glad that he could finally go home and rest for a bit. He wasn't too happy about having to navigate the snow. Destiny City apparently did not save enough to throw money at shoveling the sidewalks, so here he was. Whatever, soon enough he would be in his dorm room with a hot drink and watching some Youtube videos or something, just to relax a bit before he continued his studies.

SSBrosB Sorry this took so long.. been out of the RP mood sad Dria was making her way home from work through the snow, not paying attention to her path. She was thinking too hard. Grandma... seemed to hate her twin brother Drew (and with somewhat good reason) one minute... and then seem to worry over him the next. But Dria could tell, something was bothering Grandma.. something physical. And not just that she was yeah about 79. No, Grandma had always been in good shape. But now... When Grandma thought no was looking... she felt weak, somewhat fragile.. in pain. Dria wasn't looking where she was going and nearly ran a older student down. But she didn't notice, she was a million miles away.

Sachio was taken out of his thoughts just in time to avoid another person who was walking on the sidewalk and barely stepped out of the way. Unfortunately this meant that he slipped on some of the snow that had fallen and fell onto his behind with a thud. "Oww..." He moaned as he tried to figure out what had happened. After a moment of checking, he could tell that it was just his butt that he had landed on and that the rest of him was okay. He sighed as he tried to get himself out of the pile, realizing that he had fallen near some of the trees that lined the park. "Well, that's great." He muttered to himself, trying to find his footing once again.

When the student fell on his behind, Dria finally snapped out of it, and looked down. "I am so so sorry! Are you alright?" She held out her hand. Suddenly she got the prickly feeling that she was being watched. She shook herself. Don't be silly! She thought. But the feeling wouldn't go away.

Sachio would have jumped in surprise if he had been standing. The feeling of being watched had become even larger, so hearing anothers voice had freaked him out a little. It wasn't until he could see the female whom he had walked past offering her hand to him and he couldn't help but blush in embarrassment. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine, just slipped a little." He replied, taking the offered hand and getting back up onto his feet. He was about to say something, but had turned his head to look into the trees to see if he could tell where the creepy feeling was coming from, and this time actually did jump in surprise as he thought he saw eyes looking at the both of them! "Y-you see those eyes in the trees?" His voice was shaking and he wasn't sure why he was so afraid. He had fought Negaverse Agents after all. He was pretty sure he just didn't want to be considered crazy.

Dria looked in the direction he was looking in. Huge milky white eyes were watching them from the trees and that prickly feeling got worse. "What is this a, comic book?" Dria muttered more to herself than to anyone else. "Who (or what the hell is that? What the hell is their problem?" She then cried out as the eyes seemed to dilate and focus supremely on them. She started to march over the tree in question to demand in person that same question.

Sachio wondered for a moment if he should just run away, when the girl who had helped him up screamed at... whatever it was, and then started to march toward it! Sachio couldn't believe it, but scrambled to catch up with her. "Hey wait! We don't know what that is!" He said, trying to convince her to stop going near the thing that could be a Youma or some sort of rabid blind animal or something that was willing to go and attack people. Either one of those options were not good and he would rather not have to try and save someone who decided to go up against one of them without being able to defend themselves!

Dria stopped dead. In her pocket, she clenched her henshin pen. She frowned. He was right, they didn't know what it was. And even it was a youma or Negaverse-related, or even Chaos-related, what was she going to do? Transform in front of this stranger? Put him and her identity in danger. No. "Let's gets out of here." She cried. She turned as if to run. She hated fleeing battle, but sometimes it was the wisest choice.

As he heard her say that they should run, he saw what appeared to be a very, VERY large snowy owl headed towards them! He wasn't sure if it was attacking to get them away or if it was going to try to eat them, but he jumped towards the woman and tried to tackler her to the ground to get them out of the way. Or at least move her so she didn't get hit! It seemed to work though, and the large winged creature took one swipe at them and then flew off! Sachio made sure to look at it's flying form and could tell that it was truly going away from them rather than turning around to attack. Eventually he couldn't see it any longer and he sighed and looked at the woman. "Uh, sorry. You all right?" He asked, brushing himself off and seeing if he needed to lend her a hand. "It seems whatever it is is gone now, though I wouldn't hang out around here." Even if it was gone, it could still come back and he did not want to mess with that!

Dria tumbled to the ground. She was about chew the guy out and ask what his problem was, when suddenly the thing, a VERY large snowy owl flew at them and tried to attack them. It's attacks would have made their marks, if the guy hadn't knocked her out of the way. He had saved her life. It was gone, but it might come back. The guy asked if she was okay. "Yes thank you. Are you? I agree let's get out of here. And here take this." She handed him a slip of paper - her name and number was on it. "This IS NOT for a hot date or anything like that. Crazy things are happening. If you need help, or just want to discuss, that is how you can reach me." She owed him one and so far that was the only way she knew how to repay him. "See you later." She started to take off.

Well, at least she wasn't mad at him! He was taken aback when she suddenly handed him a piece of paper and he was about to ask what it was when she declared it wasn't her hitting on him but was a way to talk about strange things going on in the city. He couldn't help but smile a little at her explanation when he saw that it was a phone number. He wondered though if when she was talking about "crazy things" she meant Youma and the Negaverse? Could she have been a Senshi? Well, he wasn't sure right now, and even if he did call she could be talking about something else. Or a Negaverse agent trying to trick him. But that was for another day. At least he could make his way home now without fear of being knocked over... hopefully. He would need some hot calming tea after all of this. Though he did wonder just what the heck that Snow Owl was... Sailor Hawk Fin for me! Thanks for the rp!
