Day #1Theme: Orchids  Comments: It's an orchid called the Miltonia Sunset. I started with a study of the flowers, then moved on to start the watercolor I wanted to do. And then I bit off way more than I could chew and I'm tired xD

Day #4Theme: Medium Coffee, Request Comments: Initially I did this with the 'medium: coffee' in mind, and I even went ahead and did it. I ink lined the final sketch, erased the pencil, and used the coffee like a watercolor. I got to the end and was running out of time, and the piece looked good but no matter what I tried I couldn't get the hair dark enough for my liking. So I decided to try and fix it with marker. And then everything went south from there. The marker was too dark, so I decided to try and use it to thicken the lineart a bit, but the tip was too thick and it bled on the paper and then I snapped a picture of it and tore it up and just threw the crappy snap at discord cuz I didn't think I'd come back online after that since I went to bed after that. But I couldn't sleep cuz I skipped dinner and got hungry, so now that I've calmed down some I figure I'll submit the concept art and final sketch picture I managed to take. I really am very upset that I ruined a good piece, but I learned at least.

Day #5Theme: Shattered Comments: When we saw the theme today, we knew what we needed to draw. After yesterday's art drama, we took time and were careful with today's piece. And we are so proud of what we have. This piece is really important to us. Some of you know probably know why. It's still really early in the event, but I don't know if we can top this one lol.

Day #7Theme: Buttercup Comments: I usedto draw the powerpuff girls when I was, like, 13? So I took some time to try and practice and get the proportions right. Then I used it as a base to redraw a digital version. Couldn't figure out how to animate the two frames I made, so I'm just posting them side by side. My friend ended up taking the frames and animating them for me.

Day #8Theme: Bat Comments: Started my study in hopes to do a small simple flapping animation. Then I couldn't figure out how to actually do the animation part cuz Krita's onionskin wasn't working, and I really don't have the time to study animation in other programs. But after watching bats flying for a while, I know how their wings move, and it has nothing to do with me sitting at the kitchen table watching youtube videos and flapping my arms like a numbskull trying to copy the motion to better understand it sweatdrop

Day #12Theme: Wolf   Comments:Working on my surface pro in the car, so not the best control. First image took 35-45mins? A lot of bumpy trying to get the hang of drawing in a moving vehicle and not using any references Second pic from 9:20pm-9:52pm, more stable road and using refs.
