As you brave your way through the arch, a blinding light catches your eye, and you squeeze them shut for just a moment.
When you open them once again, your skin is shimmering, touched by frost and glistening with what rings in your mind as ‘winter’s blessing’ You feel neither warm or cold, a perfect balance of temperature touches you, where you cannot tell where the air ends and your skin begins. It’s strange and unsettling, but you do not feel unsafe.
A pair of voices ring out at the same time within your head. “You’re just in time, Welcome!” Though you look around, you find no one.

As he stepped into whatever lay beyond the archway a bright light filled his vision, and his eyes slammed shut. Cursing the brightness, it was too damn bright, Liam opened his eyes slowly when it seemed like things were less intense.
He felt off though he noted as he glanced about before looking down at himself, his skin felt...odd. He wasn’t cold but he didn’t feel warm...somewhere in between. He’d call it a perfect balance as it seemed his temperature didn’t lean in either direction at all. Liam wasn’t honestly sure how to word it, and make it make sense, but the shimmer to his skin was odd - like the glass. Just what the hell was going on?
Taking a step forward he stopped as he heard two voices in his head. HE was just in time...what the ******** for? “The hell am I just in time for?” He asked out loud, though no one was around, and the voices had been in his head. Just what in the hell was going on? He didn’t like it, didn’t like having voices in his head, he didn’t like the idea of anything being in his head. He needed to keep calm though, he really did.
While he continued to look around he noted the bricks of ice under his feet. All nice and neat, cleared of snow, and leading somewhere. Well….he had no where else to go, right?
He was, for the foreseeable future, stuck here and maybe at the end of the bricks was a way back. So Liam headed that way, hands in the pockets of his coat though it was unneeded. He did wonder why he hadn’t thought to bring his henshin pen when he’d left the apartment, he really should have, though he wasn’t sure it would be useable here. Where even was here?
While he walked he took note of the lights and flowers lining the path, wondering how the flowers were surviving, he shook his head as his blue eyes turned to the only building in sight. Shaking his head he made for the large building. Why fire and ice? Why was that a theme? I mean it was better than the religious bullshit most churches had depicted on their stained glass windows but he had to wonder why fire and ice? Was it some sort of religious thing as well? Some religion he wasn’t familiar with?
Heading for the building, as he had really nowhere else to go he hoped this wasn’t a mistake, as it very well be, and wished once again that he’d brought his henshin pen so he could have powered up before coming here. Rhona would have a fit with him when he got home for this, he knew it. Yet despite knowing that he knew he would tell her about all of this. It might be useful in the future somehow and it was best she knew, and perhaps others.
“I just better make it home….”
