The weather report called for snow, and a lot of it! Overnight, a foot of snow has covered Destiny City in a beautiful blanket of white, and schools and most businesses are closed! When you venture outside however, the air feels almost temperate, and picking up the snow is a lot like picking up some sun warmed sand at the beach. What might have caused this? Is it global warming playing some sort of trick, or just the imps that seem to linger in the city? The strangely warm snow day lasts for only a day though, by the next day, the air is bitterly cold again, and all of that wonderful snow is somehow gone without a trace!
The snow was something that had not been unexpected - after all it was something that had happened every year around this particular time of year - that and all of the weather reports had been predicting that it was going to snow–
But the fact that had been something that was expected hadn't made the white that had carpeted building and ground alike any less magical - even if snow was cold on his paws.
Not that the cold was something that he was going to let stop him, because Liryn had plans for this particular day - plans that involved hanging out with a certain senshi of heat - although with the weather as it was there was a chance that his friend might be meeting him as Breana rather than as Ele.
Either way, however, Liryn was looking forward to it which was how he had come to be padding cheerfully through the snow–
Snow that on the face of it should have been freezing given that it was well into winter, but was weirdly warm - and it wasn't just the snow either given that the air that should have been bitter felt almost temperate.
A mystery.
An intriguing mystery. Liryn rather liked mysteries.
The picnic area that they had settled on as a meeting place had been empty when Liryn arrived, although the clock by the nearby shops suggested that it could have been down to him being somewhat early.
He hopped up onto one of the snow covered picnic tables to wait. absently batting at some of the odd snow as he did so.
