Rather than stress himself over work, as he tended to do, Hisoka had gone out in order to get some fresh air. At some point, for whatever god awful reason, he'd decided to power up in order to wander further around the city. It seemed he had more stamina when powered up, not to mention he could run and move faster, it meant he had suddenly found himself in the cities rich boutique filled streets. It wasn't an area he'd normally go...or where he'd be accepted normally.
However, he was wearing a long coat, to cover his uniform, and he didn't wear any piercings when powered up - for safety reasons. So he looked acceptable, aside from the hair comb, but it was better than it could have been. He only gained a few passing looks here and there, not bad. But he was bored and he could sense someone not too far away.
Figuring it best to separate himself from most people, just in case, he headed for a less crowded area, though no less well lit, and decided to window shop the best he could considering most of the things didn't interest him.

The rich area of town was usually busy, especially in the holiday season. There were plenty of other places more easy and smarter for gathering energy quotas, but Wolframite was hunting for other things that night.
It was finally cold enough to justify his quarry, and his eyes had settled on a beautiful mink coat in a charcoal gray color. It was wonderful, and he wanted it. As much as hunting in the city meant he didn't kill anything that didn't at least have a chance to fight, who had time to live a normal life uncaged, and who he killed quickly, seeing large coats just made his eyes gleam.
The rich meant nothing to him. Money meant little aside from what he could use to fund his own home. It was true he could use the coat to sell and make some headway on that, but he wanted the coat more. He was sure Laven would understand - but maybe he just wouldn't mention anything and hope the appearance of another coat on his bed would go unnoticed.
The lady wasn't petite at least, which meant the coat was at least a medium though he had been hoping for a large. What was important was that they were shopping and didn't have valet for where they were going, which meant there was some spots where he could grab onto her and cover her mouth. It took time to threaten her, as he didn't look more than some crazed halloweener who overshot his holiday. But after gripping her arm and placing a claw to his mouth for her to Shh else he snap her neck, she complied. Then came the crying, and pleading as she offered him her rings. He took them. But then he knocked her out cold. A easy hit was enough for someone not used to anyone striking them. She was petite and well groomed and probably never felt any real pain before. Settling her down on the ground, he worked quickly, knowing that warmth was seeping out of her the more she touched the cement. Energy draining in winter was a death sentence for most if you didn't place them somewhere warm soon.
And so he found a back door to a restaurant and checked inside. It was the loading area between the kitchen and the back door. Cigarette butts scattered about the place. He slid inside and set her in, mindful to keep his head down and his face to the door and out of view. Cameras were always in places like this. He set her there, and took her coat. He took the cash out, but left her cards and whatever else. The ring he took. He left her the earrings. They were too hard to remove with his claws. With that, he moved out the door and headed quickly down the hallway and scaled up to a roof.
There, he held out the mink coat and grinned. "Perfect."

As no one was following him, and he figured himself lucky, the dark haired senshi decided to head back to the high end stores where there was more lights and more people. It was while walking that he found a shop...one he knew all too well. It was a high end piercing and body jewelry shop. High end as in a few hundread for a single earring. Not that he didn't have expensive taste, his were expensive, but no where near the price of this place. He could see people fawning over things inside. People who just liked putting more holes in their ears to put more bling on themselves...and half of them would start off with things they shouldn't.
Shaking his head he forgot about the aura as he considered walking inside for a moment, powered up or not it didn't matter cause he was covered up well enough. The place had nice things, it did, but he just had issues with paying those prices....and how most here seemed just into the bling and not the community...the sort who would look down on him for his piercings but consider their own acceptable....snobs.
Maybe one day he'd walk in and get himself something and tease some of the rich snobs which filled the place...it would be entertaining but that meant being social - sort of. That was the one down side to the idea, fun as it sounded in his mind. It seemed he could stand about though and watch, whoever owned that powerful signature wasn't bothering him. Maybe they were out doing similar to himself.

Mink coat placed into his space pocket with the ring, he noticed the signature somewhere down below. It had been wandering about for some time, but since it didn't approach him, he didn't let it bother him as he got what he needed. Tossing a few orbs in his claws, he looked down and tried to scope out who was actually around.
Strangely, they were somewhere in the thong of people, but it was hard to pinpoint exactly who among them was the one when so many were moving in and out of stores or just generally hanging around the windows. Tis the season for window shopping and going out, and he could tell that whoever it was was not wearing strange clothes else they would be spotted. Crouched on the edge of the roof, he looked down to the spot he felt it enough and since no one ever bothered to look up, he just kept looking. Orange eyes stared down like lights from the dark as he watched, the sound of Christmas music from stores rising up.
He really needed to do some shopping sometime soon. Right now, he just wanted hot cocoa.

Only he did look up, as he felt a drop of water or snow land on him. He had hoped the weather would remain nice, for now, but it seemed it might turn. When he looked up though he spotted someone, something, and shook his head before trying for the casual approach. He made away from the windows, and the people inside the shop, as he headed around towards the back so he could get onto the roof top - no easy feat.
When he did get up there he stopped and stared. "You..again. A bit sooner than I thought we'd meet again." Bundled up as he was the only bits of his uniform showing was the hair comb, rather hard to miss, and the shoes. He had done a good job of blending in.

He had followed around the roof and turned around to face the senshi when he jumped up finally. It was, surprisingly, the same senshi he had met a few weeks back.
"Surprised it's you too. Do you make it a habit of going window shopping while in uniform? You do know I can sense you as does anyone else. is there a reason you are doing it? Thrill or something?" He asked, wondering why he wouldn't just go shopping as a civilian and not disguise himself in uniform walking so closely packed with normal people.

"I didn't plan to go window shopping. I was out for a walk and it's cold like this. I didn't plan on being in this part of the city either. I walked further than I'd planned." And into a part of the city he typically didn't go to, an area he'd gain a lot of odd looks typically.
"I got caught up in walking and getting out. I needed the break from work." Shrugging a bit. He knew he could be sensed, he wasn't that stupid, but he was alive it seemed so he'd had good luck thus far. "It's not a habit. What brings you to this part of the city? It doesn't seem your sort of area."

"Fur season. Hunting for energy here means you get some nice rewards. Found a real nice mink jacket on a lady." He said, as if he just happened to find it on the ground and not just stripped it from a person.
"Usually I don't bother because the security here is crazy and most people go straight from the store to a uber, but some of them walk to where they park and you can pick off some loners. Left her in a restaurant stockroom though. It's too cold to be that cruel." He said as he fished out the jacket from his space pocket and showed it.
"Only way I'd ever get one of these."
"So, anything you were looking at here? You didn't strike me as someone rolling in the dough."

"I see...so double the reward for you." Before he could comment on leaving people in the cold without coats he had an answer. So this person did think of them, and their health, he cared enough to get them someplace warm rather than leave them to die. It brought a smile to his face, a rare thing really, but it warmed him a bit.
"Those are expensive...not something people walk in wearing where I work. In fact if I wasn't like this." Gesturing to his coat and uniform under it. "I'd get more than a few looks in this part of town." It was far from his usual haunts and the other was right - he didn't have money.
"You're right about that. I don't have the money to afford anything here...well the shop here I could but I'd rather not. Some of the earrings look nice but to the people inside it's all about the name. High end name, a bit pricy on most of it, but for them piercings are more about looking cute and trendy...if that makes sense." After a moment he went for rephrasing it in the hopes of making more sense.
"Most of the people in the store below will get pierced, here, and they know nothing about the community and will look down on someone like me...for my piercings. Because I don't wear what they do, spend like they do on jewelry, and because they look down on the community like we're dirty." Or something similar. As he spoke he had reached up to tug at an ear lobe. It was nearly impossible to tell, since he had his jewelry out, but he had several holes in each ear.
"It's entertaining to watch them all flutter about that store and get all kinds of piercings. It does, I'll admit, make piercings more acceptable and it brings more clients to where I work - though I'm a tattoo artist. But it's good for business." Which was, as far as he was concerned, the only good part in it all. They brought business to places like his, where people who didn't have a load of money went, and it kept their doors open.

"Hmm. Well, money to people is just a nice price tag to put on themselves. Show they are valuable in some way. In the end, it just makes them a bigger target. Security might be tighter, but I get more money out of it, and I feel less guilty knowing they can bounce back and recover from the loss. No one here is struggling to pay rent." If they were spending money on little trinkets then what did he care if he took something of theirs. In the end, he would just be a traumatic story they could share at parties.
"You have any more per icings or tattoos?" He asked, looking up and down the other as he showed his earlobe. Since he was showing, might as well ask.
"I never have any of that. Don't even know how that would work with these." He said as he pointed to hear ears.

"I feel for them but not enough to shed tears over the loss of money. Life, home...those I'd care about. But items they buy and cloth themselves in or decorate their home with - no. I don't care about such losses." They weren't nearly as important as far as he was concerned, though he did like to decorate himself. It wasn't about price with him, or value, but he liked to look good. That just meant piercings and tattoos for him.
"I have several in my ears." He had a few holes in both ears, some harder to notice than others simply due to size. "Ink...well my uniform covers that. I have my back and arms done in art I designed." But had to get someone else to ink into his skin. "I have an appointment to get something else done - something different." That was fast coming up and he'd need to handle more healing body modifications. Piercings were one thing...what he had planned was another.
"I bet your ears could be done...but depending on size of jewelry, and material, it might weigh them down...and you'd have to watch for veins and vessels and such. You have to with normal ears as well though anything other than ear lobes has less issues with that...which is why the healing time is so long on some of them." Pointing to a hole he had in the central part of his ear, the conch. "About six months on this one...if I had an industrial it'd be up to a year. Give or take. It might look good." Shrugging his shoulders a bit. "Why? Thinking of decorating yourself?" Yes, yes he did sound curious and interested. He liked to talk about such things, he enjoyed altering the body and decorating it. He liked the idea of making the human body into something different, less like everyone elses, and into something comfortable to live inside of.

"It's something I'm curious about. I have no e of those things, but it is appealing. I have a few scars that I wouldn't mind covering with something more enjoyable to look at. Downside is that I need to find someone who would work on a half-youma like myself. Someone I could trust to not kill me while I'm under their service."
He reached to touch his ear and consider it. "Could I do it myself?" He tilted his head to him so he could examine his ear. "Where should I avoid?"

"The only issue I see in tattooing you would be the fur...otherwise inking you wouldn't be all that hard. It could even be interesting...worth the time it would take." It would most certainly be an interesting canvas to work on. Between the fur and whatever skin color was under it. It would make for interesting work. "I'd assume the skin is normal under the fur...so that wouldn't be an issue but skin color might. I'd take up the challenge."
Moving closer, the other was inviting him to have a look after all, he reached out to touch the others ear. "A hallow surgical sharp needle. A piercing gun would do more damage and make healing a mess - not worth it. A needle will do it cleaner and faster - less issues over all. But you want it straight in and out so better to have someone else do it - unless you trust you can keep it straight." He didn't do piercings himself but he worked with people who did, and he had enough holes in himself, he knew most of the basic things.
"Where to avoid...I mean I'm not sure on your ears - I'd have to ask someone about it and look about more. But human ears...almost anything can and is pierced. Healing times vary and some do have a chance of rejecting - where the body pushes the piercing out. Some have less risk of that. So it's a matter of how much care can you put into healing what is essentially an open wound. Tugging them or pulling on them, taking them out and putting them in while healing, will cause issues." And could someone involved in this war handle healing piercings? They would all, from what he could tell, wind up cartilage piercings as they other didn't seem to have ear lobes. That meant more healing time and needing more care.

"Hmm. I heal rather quickly, but maybe I should ask a doctor. Just in case. I don't want to be bleeding from hitting a vein or something." He said, looking up and tugging down one ear as if he could somehow look at it from a different angle. With no luck, he let it go and let it flop back upright.
"You think you can figure it out by touching them?" He asked.

"Most doctors know little to nothing about ear piercings. It's not something they deal with. A piercer, who is licensed, has passed a test on it and, in most cases, been an apprentice under someone else for a while. Shaking his head he smiled and reached out to gently rub one of the others ears.
"A flashlight to the back of your ear should show any veins - it does with human ears. Think if like candling an egg to see if it's fertilized. If they can see they can avoid hitting anything. If you heal fast...and don't mess with it you'll be fine. I'm pretty sure anything you get will count as cartilage which means more healing than a lobe piercing...but if you heal well it won't be too bad. Implant grade surgical steel to do the piercing and as start jewelry and once healed you can change it to gold, horn, bone....stone...or something else made of the same metal." Shrugging a bit.
"I could help you buy things if you wanted...I know where to look and what to get." He offered softly, looking at the other. "Some things are harder to get...like horn and bone or wood...stone as well."
