It was cold now. Not terribly but enough that everything outside had closed and Sumner was now stuck being a lifeguard at the indoor pools, something he never really liked but at least he was near some water. Even if it was chlorine-filled. Tonight he was out and about though checking how his "powered" form fared against the weather. After all if he had to fight during the winter time he didn't want to freeze to death!

It seemed to be fine so far though. He wasn't freezing, but he wasn't totally warm either. If he wanted to be warm he would have to work out or something. Whether it be fighting or just running around. Which is why he had come to the lake that he liked to work at the most. At least here he could run some laps or something to see how all of this worked.

He didn't notice the approaching aura as he continued to jog though. He was concentrating on warming up too much.

Sumner only had enough time to look and move his head before his shoulder was hit with a nice kick and he fell to the ground. "What the-?!" He muttered, trying to look at what had just hit him. When he was finally able to spot them however it looked like a little kid? "Hey kid, what do you think you're doing!" He did notice the kid was dressed weird and he felt another aura around them, but that wasn't at the front of his mind right now.

He quickly got up from how he had landed, glad that he didn't seem to have broken or twisted anything. "What is wrong with you?!" Why was a little kid attacking him?!?

"Look kid, I am NOT a Negaverse Agent!" He said, right before dodging the ethreal cub that came flying at him. "Haven't you ever seen a knight before?" Of course, he hadn't ever seen a Senshi this young either, or at least a "Chibi" one. Was the Negaverse able to recruit children too? Though he knew that in the "Order" they weren't recruited considering that he had randomly been awakened.

After dodging the cub her ran up to her and swept his leg around hoping to get her on her back so that he could incapacitate her and she wouldn't be able to attack. He just wanted to grab one of her legs so she wouldn't be able to move.

When she jumped into the tree, surprising Sumner as he would have assumed that the branches would break, he shook his head at the silliness of it all. "I'm Sumner, Page of Neptune. Though I'm not sure how that's supposed to prove that I'm a Knight. But do I look like a Negaverse Agent to you?" He didn't think his outfit yelled "Dark evil Agent". If anything it said, "Probably does ballet or something".

He hoped that when he became a Squire that he would at least get a two-piece. "Look, I'm not going to attack you. I was just out running." He held his hands up showing that he had no weapons. Well, he could have used his mini-guitar, but he didn't want to break that!

"Etamin's sister?" He was now able to look at her a little more closely and could see the resemblance between the two of them. So Etamin's sister was a Senshi too... it made him wonder if his sister was also a Knight. Nothing seemed to be different when he had visited her though, so he was pretty sure that nothing had happened.

Sumner shook her hand, giving her a smile. "It's okay. You didn't know and since this is your first time seeing someone like me, it's understandable." Honestly if he hadn't been told about Senshis and Knights when he had awakened, he would have thought that they couldn't be trustworthy either. "You don't have to tell your brother and I won't tell him. It was an honest mistake. Just, make sure you know next time, all right?"

"Ah well I was mostly just testing how well this suit was in the winter. At least I'm hoping I won't freeze with it." He replied chuckling a little. "Pages don't actually have any magic, so I wouldn't be able to test that. But I can try to fight? Not that I'm any good at it. I'm a good lifeguard and swimmer, but that doesn't automatically translate to being a good fighter." He should check out a gym or something though. He would need some training at least.

"What were you testing out? Your kicking skills?" He asked with a bit of a grin, poking a bit of fun at the Chibi Senshi.

Interesting. Sumner thought. So one could be the same stage for years. He wondered what the trigger was for going to the next stage then for any of them and how it was determined. He had heard about Guardian Cats and how Senshi were upgraded by them, but how was done? Did the Cats randomly choose?

"Well, I can't say that I know. But perhaps you just need some more experience? Though I bet that it will be soon considering how long you've been a Chibi Senshi. And well, it's better to master your skills than let them grow stagnant of course. I can understand your frustration though, even if I haven't experienced it myself." What if he stayed as a Page for two years? He had no magic, nothing to really fight with. Sure he could train, but that was it. What good would he be in a fight? He didn't think that he would be any good against a Youma. Perhaps some Agents, but not all of them. He would have been no match if he had fought that General.

"You know what I do when I feel frustrated? I try to find something that relaxes me and takes my mind away from the current problems. That way when I think about it again, then I'm able to think about it more clearly." He wasn't sure if his words were encouraging or discouraging to the little Senshi. "Well, if you want to let some of that frustration out, you want to race around the Lake? You'll burn some energy at least."

Sumner smirked. "Well then, I it will be a challenge." He said, unable to poke some more fun and following her to the "start" line. "On three all right? One... Two... Three!" And they were off, though Sumner doubted he could win, at least he could test out his running skills!
