Sváfnir clamped on his bladed greaves before doing the same to his spiked ball and chain. Upon finishing with his weapons Sváfnir would remove his top shirt to reveal a skin tight half shirt that covers only his chest and part of his lover abdomen baring no sleeves. Sváfnir lowers himself to a squat stretching his legs while holding his arms out to stretch them as well, Sváfnir goes on to crack his fingers individually before standing upright bouncing on his toes to get his body loose.I am Sváfnir Nuntis son of Agmundr before we honor each other with the exchanges of blow please learn me your name warrior.Sváfnir pulls his knees to his chest one by one to make sure they are limber, Indirectly showing off his flexibility in the process, The warrior feeling he is ready walks to the center of the arena and holds out a hand for the warriors salute.

Beacon Academy and their lovely ideas. It was a good chunk of change and he figured it would help see what he could improve on. However, the simple fact that instead of maybe hunting in the field to work on their battle skills against grim they chose for him to participate in some type of spar was depressing. He hoped that they knew tactics and how to end fights quickly instead of doing that whole "lets just enjoy it" which always annoyed him with some comrades in the field. The area was empty and no one was watching as far as hew knew, but he figured there may be some onlookers eventually. Seeing the man before him starting to loosen up and stretch, he wondered if he should have used his Hakumensuit. It probably was too late for that now. His introduction made Kai grimace. He almost wanted to barf by the pure grammatical combination that this creature before him just put together. "Kai Kantero. Survivor of Vacuo and the future winner of this fight." Kai responds with confidence before taking out and unsheathing his Silver Ultimatum. There was no respect here. He only gets respect after. If he earned it. Charging towards the male, he went for a diagonal slash. No mercy behind his intentions. Don't bore me!

Sváfnir couldn't help but smile as he heard Kai speak, "Kai Kantero. Survivor of Vacuo and the future winner of this fight." Kai spoke with such confidence it almost seemed like he was making a genuine statement, Such was a sediment Sváfnir found amusing, A warrior without confidence is one set to die after all. Sváfnir seeing the swordsman was not really for formalities but no matter he will know Sváfnir all the same. Kai approached drawing his instead of baring the greeting, A single swing of the sword angled with purpose to separate flesh, The warrior reacted by raising the same hand used to greet his gauntlet semi parallel to the angle of the blade to allow the blade to run along it causing a swift sing as it passed. Not a moment passed after the blades killing edge was now beside him Sváfnir stepped forward stomping the ground to solidify his position bringing up the same arm fully extended aimed just below the jawline of the swordsman.LARIAT OF AGMUNDR THE GREAT!Sváfnir howled throwing forth his weight with the intention of taking the swordsman to the ground.

The sound of metal on metal singing the perfect melody to their song. There was options but Kai chose what he knew to be more effective. Of course, he probably was going to be in pain from what was coming next but if he could end the fight right then and there then it would be worth it. He parried Kai's blade but he just thought it wasn't dangerous. But, Kai didn't do the reckless thing. What he did instead was manipulating his aura. With this, his free hand would come up to his chin and the attack would smack straight into a shield that was made out of Kai's aura bringing the lariat to a halt. It was done similar to the way Ren did in season 1 of rwby except Kai did it with one hand. Using the moment of the force, Kai would ride the momentum which caused him to stumble backward multiple steps. Kai's face didn't show what he was thinking. However, Kai figured this opponent might be a little better than expected. He would need to change his style of striking for this. If he didn't have his talent in Aura, that could have been bad because he wasn't entirely sure if he could have dodged it any other way. Maybe take the hit and try slice his stomach on the way down but that wasn't exactly the best option either. He most likely could take the slash and Kai be compromised. Blade ready, he would not make an attack. Instead, he would wait for his opponent to have a turn being on the attacking end. "Do you always name your attacks? I thought it would have been more...interesting. Then again, I sure this the first time you ever met someone actually worth a s**t. To someone else that would have worked but, me. I am too prepared for such cheap tricks. Better have skill."
occ: Can look on his profile, but basically Kai can do that weird shield thing that Ren did against the Big snake Grim in season 1.

Sváfnir was taken back by the way Kai had blocked his attack before glaring at Mai after hearing the disrespectful words that were cast upon him by the swordsman, Now gritting his teeth the warrior flicks his wrist letting down 5ft worth of his chain and blade from his gauntlets.I was willing to overlook your disrespect for my named attack but to call a technique I learned from my late father Agmundr a cheap trick is something I cannot slide. Don't worry you don't have to take back your words, For I plan to give them back to you.Sváfnir now lowers his body placing both hands on the ground taking a four point stance as he glares to the swordsman.Now Kai of Vacuo prepare yourself because with my all that I am I will defeat all that you are!Sváfnir roared before charging forward on all fours at Kai waiting till he was right on him letting off his attack at the very last moment throwing right hand towards the face of Kai his chainblade on the right gauntlet to whipped out at Kai from the force of the punch before shifting his weight to his left leg and hand to follow with a delayed kick to the stomach.

Emotional? How embarrassing. All this talking for what? It is all about and action. What was with such over-emotional creatures? Watching the warrior grit his teeth and letting down some length of chain from his gauntlet, Kai stayed on guard as he entered a substance into the hilt of his blade. He really getting on all fours? He really upset. Everyone dies kid. Getting emotional over your dead dad won't allow you to beat me here he thought as the ground started to close between them. Now it was time to completely change the game." BEGONE!!" Kai stated as he struck the ground with the tip of his blade right as Svafnir started to throw his punch, creating a powerful gust of wind that would whip around him. Using himself as the eye of a windstorm as the powerful gusts would whip around him with the intent of blowing Svafnir away. Simply put, a tornado formed around Kai with him being in the epicenter while the wind gusts whirled around him creating an elemental shield and hopefully blowing Svafnir away in its air stream blowing not only him back but his chained weapon as well. While being protected by the violent swirling gust, Kai used this time to prepare. Maybe he should use this time to prepare for the next strike. He could be defensive for so long but eventually, he was going to have to put down this little cub. Taking note of the dust he had left, he felt the wind was starting to die down and soon the effects of the dust would cease. Showing himself once more, Kai figured it was now time to take a different approach. Sheathing his blade, a kunai was taken out as Kai prepared himself again. Why a smaller weapon? What was he thinking?! "Even being a swordsman you can't forget supplemental accessories like dust. Or, you know a semblance" Kai stated simply. He seemed calm, but it any battle expert could score these previous actions in two ways. Either Kai was the one on the ropes throughout this fight or he was tiring out Svafnir. Which one was it?

Sváfnir having no time to brace took the full brunt of the tornado that protected Kai. Sváfnir would soon find himself sailing through the air, Sváfnir will retract his chainblade at this time, kicking his left leg and at the same time throwing back his right arm Sváfnir would manage to twist in mid air allowing the warriors to use his hands once he was close to the ground to brace before he tucks and rolls to his feet facing Kai once again sliding back a few extra feet killing the momentum off the the attack. Sváfnir raises both hands in front of his body drawing out the (nordic) sign of wind in front of him wind with both hands before bringing the knuckles of each gauntlet together as the symbol on each would turn green.Allow a true warrior to show you how properly harness dust in a way that is not just cowering behind it. Jörmungandr's Gale FangsSváfnir spoke in a grim manner as he extended his heavily obscured chainblades. The warrior began to dance towards Kai in a series of elegant spins and twirls in which his hands moved in ways that seemed coincide with the elegance of the dance giving his a more direct and violent nature, Sváfnir's hands never go below his waistas he danced, Over head one if paying enough attention could faintly see the deadly dance of two vicious serpents as well as hear their deathly song as the blades move through the air before he gracefully dipped forward before coming back up quickly and continuing his dance, The pitch of the singing blades changed as the Sváfnir dipped faintly the chainblades could be seen diving down towards Kai one with intent of attacking the leg and the other the neck of the swordsman.

His techniques would be much more effective if he could just simply attack without making statements Kai would think. His techniques were so flashy and wide. It would be something if he did this with... a technique that was a little more major or hard to deal with. Seeing the gauntlets turn green, Kai was just going over all the ways he could have made this plan more effective. He already showed his hand to an extent with his chains. He didn't know fully what they could do though nor did he know what exactly he had in mind with the wind dust. Kai just knew it was time to act. He wondered if his demeanor was getting under Svafnir's skin since Kai seemed more relaxed. He made sure his aura was up for protection. He figured it was probably was going to be something with wind covering for a frontal assault but instead the sound hit his ear and next thing he knew the blades came down with a perfect hit. The blades smashed into Kai but it didn't cut into his skin thinks to his aura shielding him but it didn't shield into the pain. Tensed from the impact, he quickly retreated backward with a couple of backward leaps to gain distance. That was intriguing. I didn't lookup. A mistake that won't happen again. If I did I would have seen the reflection of the blades in theory[ /i] Kai thought to himself as he re-assed his situation. My aura for my semblance use is still full. However, the aura I have allocated from my protection is has took a significant hit. Estimate about 30%. Gotta be more careful. The analysis didn't show on his face. "You got lucky with such a cheap trick. Best believe it won't happen again" he commented with venom as he slides another substance into his hilt.

Sváfnir noticed the attacks land still blocked by the swordsmans aura, Seeing the swordsman distance himself Sváfnir continued towards him with his dance getting into range again. Sváfnir could hear the voice of Agmundr in the back of his mind telling him the general weakness of a sword wielding adversary. "Weaken the base and the blade faulters." Sváfnir nodded silently to his thoughts thanking his father mentally.I will break that confidence of yours Kai of Vacuo, Prepare to be taught humility.Sváfnir made a sign with his left hand releasing the wind dust on that chainblade now one chainblade exposed and the other still heavily obscured as a way to confuse the opponent with a blind attack. Sváfnir once ready dips again the visible blade taking point on the attack with an angled slash heading down at the left shoulder in attempt to slash the chest as the obscured blades attack was delayed slightly Sváfnir waiting for the initial reaction of Kai so he cound land a solid hit to his leg once more after which the blades will lose momentum and drop to the ground as Sváfnir's dance ceased the constant spins getting to the warrior a bit so he would try to subside it before pressing his enemy.

He probably should of kept it hidden with his wind dust because now things were about to get a little, crucial. Kai was going to shut down this pest and put him on ice a little. His blade started to glow blue as the dust infused with his weapon. It was set. With the blade coming for him, the time could not have been more perfect. A few moments before it would connect with Kai, a slash was done with his blade in an arcing manner in front of him. The arc was perfect as a golf swing. The swing caused the ice dust to take effect and a large obstruction made of ice was created in front of him. Not only that, he did it to where the ice would end up forming the obstruction to where it would catch Svafnir's blade. End result? The blade being caught in the ice obstruction and trapped similar to like how a Popsicle stick is trapped in a popsicle. (Yummy) Kai did it for two reasons, one he was hoping to catch both blades. Whether he did or not depending upon how big the delay was between the obscured blade and regular blade. If not much, then probably got both. If was a significant delay, then the blade most likely just hit the ice obstruction instead of being caught. The other reason was that he felt a big shield that he can duck behind was best practice as the blades wouldn't be able to hit him. He was going to use Earth dust but the ice dust worked better since, encasing items seem fun. The return fight was about to begin. His sword glowed but this time it wasn't dust. It was just his aura being infused into the blade. Moving to side of the obstruction to where he could see Svafnir clearly, he would release a flurry of 5 slashes. The 5 slashes would release 5 projectiles slashes towards Svafnir. "Better lose the chains...or just deal with consequences" Kai stated with a prideful grin on his lips. Everything was about tactics. He was the best in Vacuo. He was literally shaped and molded for this. When others were playing as toddlers, he was training. He was learning and growing! HOW DID HE THINK HE STOOD A CHANCE!
occ: Ice dust used. Think of the slashes like mini getsuga tenshos but not as big as ******** because we not Ichigo.

Sváfnir managed to brace for the first two but was unable to fully block the next three, Blood now flowing freely from his opened flesh. Left ribs had a decent wound along with a slash on the shoulder and gash across his abs, Sváfnir couldn't help but smile as the counter was done so well even though he was quite the disrespectful individual but he did know how to adjust rather well given the circumstances. Sváfnir could tell Kai was nothing short of a genius in his craft and under normal circumstances he would respect the warrior he is but tis was not normal circumstances and he was to taught the never to disrespect the friends of one so kindled in the warriors way, Sváfnir would not say the fight was done till he did. After the attack was received from the Swordsman Sváfnir retracted is chains pulling himself on to the ice making the symbol for fire the chainblades grow red and begin to melt their way out of the ice before Sváfnir kicked off the ice towards the swordsman chainblades with about 2 meters worth of slack blades still red.Keep it up Kai of Vacuo for I have yet to even get started!Sváfnir takes to a slide, Heated blades cutting into the ground on eat side of him, As he gets close to Kai upon him entering melee range the warrior would spin before placing his right hand on the ground and thrusting a kick up towards the chin while simultaneously throwing out his left hand the spin causing the chain to whip at Kai's lower abdomen with the hot chains.

It was no surprise that the attacks landed. Kai calculated it perfectly. It was why Kai liked the sword. Control over your movements. Precision. Cold and lethal without remorse. Chain blades were nothing scary in the hands of a child. Maybe someone more calculating, he would understand. The fire dust would be introduced. Interesting, so he still had more up his sleeve. No matter at all to be honest. Seeing the ice kicked towards Kai, he easily did a diagonal slice to shatter the ice from his slash into nothing but useless flurries. Some decorations for the fight. It was time to see what he was going to do. He stated he was just getting started. Kai could say the same, to be honest. Kai was now determined to end this. Even if that meant taking a gamble. He was fine with the risk because he had a secret.
With Svafnir coming forward into melee range, when he went for the spin kick, Kai didn't back down. In fact, this was his opening. Even if it meant getting hit by the blade enhanced by fire dust. As he entered his spin, Kai dashed forward, entering into the spin's circumference in more of fencing like a manner, his aura being channeled into the blade as he made a slash for the leg that was coming to try and kick him. His blade aiming for the thigh. Kai was going injuring Svafnir. Immobilizing him so this fight can go for the end. He should at least be grateful, the more sure thing would have been a downward slash but that would have possibly given him a vasectomy... Still, an injured leg compared to the blade against his midsection. Kai would find that to be worth it. But with him moving in, would the chains even be an issue for him?
occ: Dashed into your personal space as went into a handstand and aiming to slash at the attacking leg near the thigh area. Side note. GOTTA PLAY RISK GAMES!

Sváfnir as the swordsman shifted his weight dodging the kick Sváfnir threw, Managing to put himself in a rather good position, Now watching as Kai took to a handstand of his own all the while closing the distance quite a bit throwing off the aim of his original attack to wrap the lower abdomen to instead apply a sawdering metal lash with the blade to the back of the swordsman. Sváfnir couldn't help but grin as Kai took to the risky exchange truly a warrior after his own spirit. Pain took to his leg as the blade of the swordsman separated the flesh of the warrior's thigh causing blood to fling in a spiral around the warrior, Sváfnir was not knew to pain and if Agmundr taught him anything it was that pain was not to be feared as a warrior but embraced, Pressing on without faltering Sváfnir retracts his chainblades as they are no longer glowing and as if never missing a beat shifts his weight angling away from Kai as his translucent windmill gives him a few feet of space before aiming the claw blades of his uninjured legs shoe at Kai's ribs whether he lands or not the warrior will use the momentum to get to his feet gaining distance from the swordsman taking an upright southpaw stance keeping his injured leg back as to keep it protected.Well done Kai of Vacuo Well done. I did not think I would enjoy this as much as I am because of your lack of respect for other warriors but I am proven yet again Agmundr is right and for that you have my thanks, Now show me more of you blade!Sváfnir roared as he began to edge closer to Kai looking to his leg to make sure he maintains a certain distance between each step as not to get it caught easily in an attack.

Perfect exchange! Back for leg! Kai was happy with that internally. Affecting one's balance and one's movement. Of course, his back was vital but that wasn't like he couldn't still move or anything. An injured back you could still run. Well, depending upon how damaged it was. Svafnir did get a better exchange of the deal but that was because Kai was pre-damaged. He didn't let himself heal. Why? Personal issues that have nothing to do with the situation at hand. The slash to his back would cause blood to drip down like a leaking ceiling onto the pavement. He had hit one of his scars that didn't heal. Kai still felt he had the better of the exchange even if he was leaking ichor. Through the exchange, the hidden attack of the warrior that was aimed at his Ribs would nick Kai as he wasn't able to fully get out the way. Making it to his feet, he smirked. Back and his rib. Not bad. Not bad at all. He would shake his head at the compliment that came from the male. Lack of respect? There is no respect in a fight. You respect your opponent you allow them to believe they can actually win. Did he want more? The emerald eyes of Kai would glance upon the wounded beast. He was wounded too but still, if he wanted to continue then he would allow for it to continue. A shuriken would come out. and he would put it on his blade like a ring making it on a pole in ring toss. What was he planning? Angling his blade in style favoring piercing damage almost like he was fencing, he would attack svafnir, going for piercing barrage of stabs aiming to try to poke him full of holes like he was SpongeBob. The shuriken safely resting near the base of the blade.
