 Stag Jump wasn't exactly pleased with how he had behaved at the Great Feast, but he wasn't displeased either. He had brought in a pleasant guest, Hazel, partially to incite confusion (after all, two Hazels in one pack? However could you tell them apart?) and partially because after she'd declared herself as a bard, he suspected that she knew how to have a good time.
He didn't remember too much about what happened after he tasted those mushrooms and threw himself into the art of dance, but one thing he could remember clearly was that Snapdragon, one of his pack mates and a hunter, had come to speak with him. They had exchanged a few words, but... he had enjoyed her company.
B-Besides, He had thought earlier that day. After the way I handled myself, running off to partake in some gawdy dancing... I should apologize to her for suddenly running off.
So, he set out for her, passing word along to his fellow pack mates that he was looking for her. Was she out on a hunt, he wondered? Well, he was bound to bump into her sooner or later. The territory wasn't that large... was it?KasaiLoki Sorry for the wait! I'm still interested in this RP (and this couple) if you are!

Snapdragon could be found in the heart of the Court, lounging around. While normally off, out and about on a hunt, today was a relatively calm day for the she-wolf. She would enjoy the time off for now.
The female stretched on the warm ground, basking in the light that peered through the canopy above. Murkwood needed more days like this. The grand feast, the sunny warmth. For the tragic past the elves went through, today made it seem as if the world was right again. Perhaps it was just on its way of being normal again? Snapdragon could only hope.
The scent of another wafted through the air, bringing the she-wolf out of her thoughts and back to the normal world. Her ears swiveled, listening for footsteps as the other came into view. Ah, the boy she had spoken with at the fest. A small smirk caressed her maw as she remembered watching from afar the spectacle the male had down.

It was thanks to another elf that Stag Jump was eventually pointed in the right direction and shortly thereafter, he was able to find the brown she-wolf. He caught her eye as he approached and offered her a smile.
"Hello Snapdragon." He greeted her when he approached. "Might I join you for a bit? I come bearing news, well, and an apology." He told it to her straight, because he was never one to dance around words. At least, not with a Hunter. While he may have been a little more careful around the Terran, like her sister, or one of the Elders, he was confident that friendly banter was fine between the two of them. No need to be so stuffy here, right?
He settled down beside her without receiving the permission he'd asked for, already speaking again.
"I wanted to apologize for my behavior at The Grand Feast." He said, looking sheepish. "I do appreciate that you sought me out, for whatever reason that may have been and had I not a guest with me to watch out for, I'm certain I would have been more attentive. But! The good news I bring with me is that I am ready to be attentive now." He said with a grin, his embarrassment fading away. "So! What was it that you had wanted to talk about, when you'd approached me?" He asked her.

“Ahhh Stag Jump, right?” Her tail thumped against the cool ground as she watched him. “Sure,” her tail halted for a moment, head tilting as he mentioned he had news. Her tongue clicked against her teeth, as she flashed the male a small smile. “You don’t have to apologize.” She was sure he had reason for hopping off so quickly. “I get that. I had a guest with me but uh…she seemed to be distracted elsewhere.” Snapdragon rolled her shoulders in a shrug. “Don’t tell my sister though. She’d probably get upset if she knew I didn’t keep a vigilant eye out.” She gave the male an amused look. “Oh, are you now?” A chuckle left her maw. “Maybe I’m not ready to be attentive?” She joked rising to her feet. She thought for a moment. “Does a lady need a reason to approach a dashing male? Hm?” Her head tilted.

Stag Jump nodded when his name was addressed. "Yup, that's me!" He confirmed with a smile. He went on to listening to her and relaxed. He didn't need to apologize? Could it be that she wasn't offended or upset? Thank goodness!
"Heh, don't worry. I may be prone to spreading rumors, but usually... They're more fun than something like that. On the contrary, I could spread something about how diligent you were, keeping your eyes literally pressed to the pelt of your companion... Not that I would." He added quickly. "Honestly the stuff I spread tends to be news from the beyond. Everyone is wary of the rogues beyond our borders, not that I blame them for it, of course, but you really get the most interesting news from those outside. It brings in more variety to the usual gossip anyway." He chattered on with a grin. "Where did you pick up your guest?" He asked. "I wish I had the chance to meet them, though I think your company is far superior." He added.
Dashing... She'd called him dashing. No she-wolf had ever called him dashing before. He smiled back at her.
"Perhaps my mother should have named me Stag Dash." He joked. "And I suppose not, though it makes me curious of your intentions. If you were looking for conversation, I can certainly supply that. I've been picking up some curious rumors pertaining to a mysterious beast in the Bluestone Mountains." He said, a glint in his eye. Was this the sort of news that would attract the she-wolf. "Or we could discuss the goings-on within the pack, too." He added if this was more her style instead.
