If quantity purchase through Treehouse is broken then that's a pretty terrible bug. We will have it fixed right after ATS and we will run a script to refund previous orders.

The mass delete for profile comments is in our todo list. We will work on it as soon as we can.

That avatar error shows up sometimes due to a weird bug in the web server that we use. We have a script that will detect the error and reboot the web server when that happens. Currently Gaia has about 40 web servers handling everyone's requests, so this does happen randomly at times. We will be updating the web servers to hopefully solve this issue.

Looks like we have a bug where the event isn't ending as it's supposed to. We will also have it fixed after ATS today.

Reviews are done in batches, with all of the reviews completed before we move on to the next part in the process. Due to this no results are given until all of the current batches are done, so it may be a couple of weeks before you hear back.

Two weeks ago I asked about the volunteer tagging system: "Has any progress been made on the planned system to recruit people specifically for approving tags on items (since mods are few and spread thin and long to train and thus having them approve item tags is very slow) and if so, how might one apply to do that?"
Lanzer replied: "The current setup had been slow and I want to actually open the process up to trusted Gaians to help with approval. Once I setup a good reward structure I'll make that available."
To this I replied, but ran out of time to hear anything further: "A reward structure? I didn't even know there was planned to be any rewards involved. If it would make this any quicker to get put in place, I know I (and I'm sure plenty of others) would have no problem working on the tags prior to implementation of any rewards for doing so. "
Time ran out, so I didn't hear anything else after that. I just wanted to know if maybe, to get the system for volunteer tag approval implemented sooner, you could release it prior to the rewards system being finished and just add the rewards later.

True we can push that portion out sooner. I can release it earlier to collect feedback.

i think amy answered last time and said they were supposed to be things you can craft with crumpled papers but for some reason were never like...finalized or whatever?? after that, the white cranes were approved but none of the others were. i would KILL for the stars. is there any way we can get them all approved?

The community seems to be in a decline as of late.
We have quite a few ideas on what we want to do in order to give a new user a better experience on Gaia. Main issues to tackle are:
- On-boarding experience and complexity
- Economy and inflation
- Web page design and style
- Avatar style
We do have a lot of potential projects that include creating a better feed system, site redesign, and potential user generated item creation to facilitate new avatars and a different economy behind it. We're busy with managing the core events right now but we're putting together more resources for creating a better experience down the road.

Hi there,
It would depend on the nature of the violation that led to the ban, and how long ago the ban was placed. Users who have been banned are welcome to apply (if the form will let them) but may still be rejected after review.
Okay just thought this should be added to the FAQ because it only mentions warnings and not bans. I always thought it was strange that the forum assistant position seemed to be more strict on who could apply because it states what counts as serious violations.

For Fashion Frey, I received 2 S bundles and others have said they received 2 of a bundle. I thought we were only supposed to get 1 of each as we completed them.

Any idea whether you guys will release a new inventory arranger? The one that's out now is very tedious for folks with large inventories. I currently have nearly 11k items, and i know some folks have more. It's almost impossible to use with so many items.
Also, in the meantime, can we have the list view back? as well as the ability to sort by layer?

Sorry I know that the re-design had been pushed back due to lack of resources, but we will have a re-design when we get a chance to.

Your taking apps for FA's, but FA's can only move misplaced threads. Most of what the users see are offsite ads for keto shakes or whatever garbage that doesn't get moved because a moderator or higher has to move it and ban the account. There are some of these threads that are weeks old sitting in forums and FA's cant move them.
Is it AT ALL possible for FA's to be able to hide these threads from public view or to be able to move them to a mod-only forum for a mod to work on them at their leisure?

Unfortunately no, Forum Assistants have very strict rules about what they may do. And if you saw the Announcements we are also taking Moderator Applications, so if you are interested and have not signed up please do so and hopefully you will be able to take care of them yourself biggrin

Giving certain forums the ability for the thread owner ability to lock their threads is there, not sure about deleting, it'll be something to discuss with the moderator team before we enable it.

I've watched a lot of Red Bard's videos (Yaoi Paddle!) so I also got to watch the Gaia video last week. A good summary of the early days and highlights of the Goldimort era which still made me cringe when thinking about what he did.
