Three beings met in a corridor, between three worlds, and between three kingdoms. Each holds a different perspective, and each of the three are the same in some respect.
[Enters the three men of different kingdoms.]
Warlord: Women only get in the way.
Monk: Women are the way, for some.
Wiseman: Hai
Warlord: I'll take the detour, for sometimes. The wrong way may be the rightway.
Monk: Detours are always good.
Warlord: I don't have to protect anyone, and that means it can't be used against me.
Monk: Then you don't have anyone to strive to protect. Motivation, in other words.
Warlord: Motivation can be given from better things.
Monk: Like money? What will you do when you're rich? Like power? What will you do when you're a god?.. When someone, or something, strives to protect, they enjoy the thing they protect after they've 'won'. Can you name a 'better thing' that does that?
Warlord: What happens when you don't have to protect her anymore. Power is always a motivation, When you're a god. You make sure it stays that way.
Monk: You're skilled, Warlord, and can see my next point. A god who can see all, and be all, has no challenge when weeding out a possible usurper. There is no challenge, therefore no drive to excel, if you hold all the cards over other's fate. Power is the control of others' fates, right?
Wiseman: Better yet, what happens when you cannot protect someone anymore. Then life loses purpose. Indeed this is a topic that requires careful observation, study, and review.
Monk: Then there is the drive of vengeance, Wiseman.
[Exits the three men of different kingdoms.]
.. Am I the Warlord? The Wiseman? Or the lowly Monk?
