Hisagi grew up to two shinobi parents. His mother a chunin and his father a jonin. Hisagi was quickly taught of his clan ways as well as the shinobi way. Showing signs of being a prodigy at a very young age; Hisagi's parents started his training immediately. Hisagi's intellect and talent as a shinobi allowed him to speed through his time in the ninja academy. Some say it was because he was a Sarutobi. Those rumors were quickly expelled through a public showing of his skills and mind. Growing up even within his clan, Hisagi has been known as a ninja prodigy. Hisagi didn't spend an entire year as a genin before it was petitioned he be moved to chunin. Through more training, study and a show of skill; at the age of 12 Hisagi was award chunin level.
For four years, Hisagi sat in the chunin position. Securing the reputation of a being a scholar. Studying various degrees of medicine, jutsu studies and taijutsu studies. Throughout Konoha his peers would call him The Scholar. Even being called the title by the Hokage themselves. At the age of sixteen, Hisagi held a strong mark inside Konoha.
Soon the time of his skill would be tested. Konohagakure and Kirigakure were in constant tension. Soon the boiling point happened and skirmishes began. Hisagi was working as a nurse within the hospital. Tending to the injured and soon to be dead who were returned from the battles. But it seemed the Mizukage's forces were winning. Hisagi and his skills were called to the battlefield. Without a moment's delay, Hisagi and a team were dispatched. For some time Hisagi and his team were making progress. Hisagi was putting his medical skills to use on the field. The teams Jonin and three other chunin providing the military force that was needed. That is until the Mizukage showed on the battlefield. Killing the team jonin with ease, leaving Hisagi and his wounded teammates to themselves. Not wishing to see any of his teammates die, the sarutobi chunin charged to face the Mizukage. With his summoning companion Baku at his side, the two fought for their lives. The two managed to defeat one of the Mizukage's monstrous summons and even managed to hold their own against the kage. It was unsure if the Mizukage was holding back or not. The Mizukage offered Hisagi to leave Konoha and join him at Kirigakure; only to have Hisagi to deny the offer. Since that battle, the Mizukage Tsuki Terumi and Hisagi have developed a very complicated relationship.
Through this last encounter for his dedication to konoha as well as his tremendous skill, Hisagi was moved to jonin at the age of sixteen. In his years of Jonin, Hisagi has managed to become a doctor in the hospital. Even becoming a team leader of genin at one point. How that team turned out? Some say its Hisagi's greatest and only failure. Hisagi's first and only team perished during a mission that turned out to be greater than expected. Hisagi holds this guilt close to heart. Fueling his desire even more to become a better force of hope and protection to Konoha. It has been known throughout the ninja lands that Hisagi holds a powerful position without the shinobi medical system. Performing tremendous feats during his time. Saving countless lives believed to be lost. Giving relief to the traumatized minds of shinobi and even civilians. The Hokage pulled him from the field and placed him within the hospital as a leading doctor. It is also said, Hisagi does have the permission to go on missions if he chooses. But he would rather stay where his mind and medicinal skills will not he interfered with. Throughout the shinobi world; it’s said only the most dire of situations will pull him from his healing and instructive ways. Being a rarity of medical nin, being one of extremely very few who are allowed to fight on the field as a medical ninja without the two bypassing jutsu learned. If he is pulled and placed onto the field, it is said to be weary and to avoid at all costs. If coming across him to kill on site. That’s if they are skilled enough.
