Nix’s training of the day had run a bit long, so he was hurrying to get home, concerned someone might notice, or that he’d sleep through more than just art class on Tuesday. As he was jumping along rooftops, though, he noticed an aura— two auras, in fact—that was worth checking in on: Namely, a rather strong-feeling chaos signal, very close to what was almost certainly a basic senshi or a page. They might need help, who ever they were, so Nix changed his course, even though it’d make him even later. Not long after, he arrived on the scene to a...rather odd looking Youma. It was pretty big, all told, and definitely scary. But it looked rather like a polar bear covered in ice cream. Or maybe made of it. It was dripping, even. More importantly, though, there was a senshi he didn’t recognize that looked pretty well cornered, so he leapt forward to intervene!

Did Arthur say something about monsters? Maybe he had. It wouldn’t be so strange to think that something the Mauvian said went in one ear and out the other. Not because Buzzi wasn’t a good listener or anything, but just because there was a lot of information to process all at once. He had POWERS after all! And could jump higher, run faster, and punch stronger than he ever could before! Unfortunately punching hadn’t helped with this particular monster that was chasing him down. There the monster was, getting ready to pounce on some little ol’ lady who had the bright idea to go walking in the park on his way to work after detention one day, and of course, as the sweet young man he was, Izzy had to react! He powered up immediately and drew the monster’s attention away from the old bat, only to realize that this monster was just half a step away from sending him flying across the park and ending up as mince meat! So what else could he do but run? And he ran and ran and ran, but the beastie wasn’t giving up! It seemed like it was looking to eat Izzy, rather than be eaten itself! Each breath was beginning to turn into agony, and he grew tired, the next step slower than the last. Well, this freaking sucked! The one time he decided to be the good guy. He was going to die!

Nix was almost too late, but managed to land between the senshi and the...ice cream bear as it went in for a very a big lunge. "No you don't!" he declared, and open-palmed bashed the monster's head to the side, causing it to rear back and roar. He'd interrupted the potentially killing blow, at least! There wasn't a lot of room to maneuver here, though, so he had to be careful. He spared a glance to the side, to make sure nobody was dead, and said, "Alright there?" before turning back to the bear-thing and fielding an irate complaint in the form of a drippy paw swipe...which he deflected without too much difficulty, although it did cause him to grunt quietly.

Buzzi wasn’t sure what was going on. He was way too tired to keep running, and stumbled, nearly tumbling over as the monster was right on him. He could see his life passing before his eyes... Then someone shouted, and what was sure to be a bite to his doom never came. When he finally managed to turn around, he saw someone standing there, another senshi, but clearly stronger than he was. But rather than focus on him, Buzzi lunged for the closest thing he could find, a lid of a trash can, and hurtled it at the monster. “H-Hey, back off! Go eat someone else!” The monster roared again, but Buzzi wasn’t about to back off just yet! If this cool person could stand up to the monster, so could he!

A trash can lid went wizzing by Nix, and rather impressively Beaned the monster in the face...which brought its attention right back to the other Senshi, and took a swipe at him. Nix shoulder checked the monster, spoiling its hit again, but he was sure he wouldn’t be able to do that many more times, so he said, “Hang on,” and without much warning spun and swept the other senshi up into his arms, and leaped into the air! He didn’t really jump quite far enough to land on the building above, but he stuck his tongue out, and used his magic frog tongue like a ninja hook to yank the both of them up the rest of the way. He set the boy down and said, “Wait here, this’ll only take a moment!” Then, again without much warning, jumped backward off the building to drop back down at the youma. As he dropped down, he shot his frog tongue at the confused Youma, pulling them closer together so he could slam into its gooey mass all the harder.

“GAH!” That second swipe just barely missed Buzzi, thanks to that other senshi. He was going to say something, something along the lines of ‘Let’s take this out!’ But before he could give it a second though, he was scooped up like a sack of potatoes and hoisted up onto the top of a building. In that brief, brief moment they had swinging together, Buzzi thought two things. One: The dude must have had some weird magical frog abilities. How else could he explain that weird tongue? And Two: His heart was pounding. Cheeks red, flustered and unable to say anything in response to the crazy senshi who dashed right back down to fight more. “H-Hey!!” It was too late, that weirdo was off fighting again, smashing into the beast as if he had done it time and time again, leaving Buzzi up on the rooftop alone, staring after him in wonder. How could someone be that... That cool. Was all he could think as he watched the fight from the safety up high.

“Okay, drippy, the jig is up, now,” he declared, pointlessly, but it always made him feel better about his fighting when he did it. It also helped when he delivered a big froggy poison lick, and the Youma staggered back, dazed and hacking up glowy weirdness. He took the opportunity to bash it hard in the head, and then kick with a froggy foot. The youma burst into a satisfying mist of dust. Record time! He looked back up to where he’d left the other Senshi, and leapt back up. “Hey!” He greened with a smile. “You okay? Everything still in the right place?”

The Senshi before him just completely obliterated that youma, and Buzzi stood there slack jawed and in awe. How could someone be that cool and strong and just... Freaking amazing all at once?! ... How could he, himself, be so awful compared to the boy who kicked that youma's a** like it was nothing? Even in comparing himself with the other senshi, he didn't feel exceptionally embarrassed. No, he was just... Well, he couldn't figure out the word for it, but he liked it. Then all of a sudden, that frog boy was back, smiling at him with a goofy smile and Buzzi felt his stomach do one hell of a flip. "I uh... I'm okay! Yeah, I'm all in one piece! Are you... Uh... Are you okay too? You kinda just destroyed that thing like it was nothing and... Heck that was really freaking cool!"

“Ah, it’s all good,” Nix replied, smiling. “I’m glad you’re okay. I am too, thanks for asking.” He gave him a thumbs up. “I’m sure it was tired from lots of fighting before I got here,” he suggested. “Besides, I’ve had lots of practice at this sorta stuff, and I’m a Super Senshi, too, so I’m sure you’ll get stronger, too!” He glanced around. “Now, uh, I’m really sorry to be like this, but I was already running late, so I’d better go. Are you okay getting down, or would you like the Froggy Express?”

“Oh.. Y-yeah! You know it! I kicked lots of butt before you came! There were like, three more of the same size, and after I pulverized those ones, this one caught me off guard.” ... Why was he LYING?! There was no reason for him to lie and he knew that! But that smile and that thumbs up just made his stomach flip again, and the urge to impress the other senshi came hard. Buzzi knew he was plenty cool enough on his own; who wouldn’t like him the moment they talked to him! But... He wanted this senshi to think he was cooler than cool. “A Super Senshi? So like, Super strong? No wonder you smashed that like it was mashed potatoes... It really was super cool though, I swear! You’re like an expert!” He wanted to ask him more, his name, how he got to be so strong, where he was going, could they hangout sometime but all those words got caught on his tongue. Instead he only stared dumbly while he tried to register what exactly was said. “I can get down... Yeah, I can totally get down on my own, no sweat!”

Nix nodded at the description of the fight. He had is doubts about it, but saw no reason to question it. It was probably smaller ones. What ever the case, though, he shrugged and let it go. "Yeah, something like that. Eternal senshis are stronger, though," he supplied. Maybe not as dedicated to training, though. "Great! Going up and down buildings is good practice. Let's train some time! But sorry, gotta go!" He waved, and leapt off the building again without any hesitation whatsoever. It was only when he was 4-5 buildings away that he realized he'd neglected to exchange information, or tell the poor guy anything particularly useful... ...With any luck, they'd run into each other again, and he could fix that. But not tonight!

Buzzi couldn’t tell if the senshi before him actually believed him or not, but either way, he seemed to not deny it. Excellent so that meant he could impress him even more, once he could pick his jaw off the ground. Before he realized it again, the Senshi was off! Without a name, with half a goodbye, and off into the night without a glance behind. And yet Buzzi didn’t feel offended in the least. If anything, his heart was still racing from watching the kid dash away like that, face hot and flushed from that sudden, fateful encounter. Curse his legs for being glued to the ground, and his mouth from refusing to form words! But he had said they should train sometime, so there would be a next time.. There’d have to be! And maybe then, Buzzi could pull himself together and actually ask for that cool froggy-boy’s number.
