Some time during the week, Izzy had snuck over to Toby's house to speak with his friend's parents. It was a lucky day too, when they were chilling at home alone and Toby was off at practice. He had a plan, you see, a dastardly dastardly plan that required a practical idea. Typically he didn't ask permission for his plans, but he liked Toby, and his dad was pretty cool, so he didn't want to cause too many problems.

Given their permission, on the day of Toby's 17th birthday, Izzy rolled up to the house and went right in at 9AM.

... An awful idea, really. His teenage body was not meant to be awake this early on a Saturday. Buuuuut he had a plan! And he was going to stick to it!

Atleast that was the goal up until the was allowed in the house and told that Toby's lazy butt was still sleeping all cozy in his room. When he opened the door, he was thiiiiis close to just giving his friend the 'people's elbow' to wake him up. But dang, he was tired too and that bed was too too tempting.

So... Change of plans! First, he set all his stuff off in a corner. Next, he rummaged as quietly as he could in Toby's drawers where he remembered pajamas were. A proper pair was pulled out and then put on, his clothes put into the corner neatly with everything else.

The final piece was him crawling into bed with Toby as quietly as he could, putting his head on the pillow beside him and closing his eyes.

Yes, all great plans included a good nap, and his plan was no different. Besides, all the nice, affordable places he wanted to go to were all closed til about noon anyway, so they were fiiiiine. And what could he say, It was going to be an awesome reaction to see Toby all flustered when he woke up in bed with him out of nowhere.

Or atleast it would have been if Izzy hadn't fallen right asleep 7 minutes later.

Izzy had conked out like a light the moment his head hit the pillow, yet he wasn't in so deep a sleep that Toby being close enough to rub their cheeks together wouldn't wake him up.

It took a moment, but his eyes did open, and when he saw him so close, he grinned and wrapped his arms around Toby. He really was a cute boy wasn't he? All sleeping sweetly, with his hair a tousled mess and a very clear drool trail on his cheek that seemed to have dried over night. It was all Izzy could do to keep himself from laughing.

"Tobeeeeeeeee..." Izzy whispered softly in a half singing tone. His hand went to thread through that fluffy blonde hair and fluffed it a little more. "Toooobeeee, time to wake uuuuuups. It's yah biiiiiirth daaaaaayyyyy."

Izzy's grin only grew bigger at that grip on him, and those muttered words. It made him think of his siblings who would be half asleep, eating snacks while trying to insist they were awake.

The nuzzle made him laugh this time, and he went 'oops' very softly when his teal eyes met green ones, and a hand poked him a few times.

Ah yes, this was what he was waiting for, this reaction! This glorious embarrassment that just flowed from Toby. Oh how he 'relished' in it!

"Oh? A good dream, huh? Just what were you dreaming, Toby?" Izzy wasn't about to let him go, and tightened his grip around his friend's waist, keeping his close. "Wanna go back to sleep?"

"OOoohhhhh, me? Huh? Dreaming of me so hard, that poof, here I am! You must have some pretty powerful magical abilities!" He moved his hands to take Toby's cheeks between them, giving them a smoosh.

"Since you summoned me, oh super powerful mega awesome Toby, happy birthday! Your wish is my command! As long as it's like, realistic. I can't just make it rain cake or something. Whatcha want for your birthday?"

"Hmm... Something cool." When Toby sat up, so did he, crossing his legs and rubbing his chin. He could think of a few things that could be fun an affordable to do. They were kids on a budget after all!

But it was hard to ignore the fact that Toby didn't have a shirt on, and before he realized it, his hands went Toby's belly, giving it a little pat, then his fingers wiggled relentlessly.

"Something cool, huh?" His were calm and steady, despite their attack on that bare skin. "I got a few things in mind! But first you gotta get dressed!"

Unfortunately, Izzy was a ticklish boy too! But unlike Toby, he was used to hands trying to come after him, tickle fights being a thing between him and his brothers, and he learned there was one guaranteed way to stop such fights.

He moved quick, overpowering those offending hands by grabbing them, pushing Toby back against the bed and pinning them beside his head. In the next moment he was sitting on Toby's hips, keeping that weight on him juuuuuuuust enough so that the other couldn't kick back up.

"Hey! Just because it's your birthday doesn't mean you can just try to return the attack so easily! There will be no mercy on traitors!"

“Nah, if anyone’s a traitor, it’s your mom and dad. They are the ones who let me in. Aww, are you mad? I was considering flopping onto you instead and scaring you awake, but I got sleepy.” And he already had experience sleeping in that bed and knew how comfortable it was. How could he resist!

“Dude, it’s not summer time, you should sleep with a shirt on. you’re gonna get sick and then you’re gonna be all sad and pitiful and then your loyal butler Izzy would have to nurse you back to health. Oh, but wait, I bet you’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

“Why are you smirking? You’re the one who’s vulnerable here! Stop acting like you’re in charge.” He couldn’t exactly move the hands around easily, so he decided to lean closer almost pressing their noses together.

“Oh yeaaaaaaah? I bet you would, wouldn’t you, Mr. “I got a big ol’ thing for butlers and maids”! I dunno about the work outfit, but if you got sick, I might consider taking care of you. Buuuuut not today! Today’s your birthday and you’re healthy! Healthy enough to get dressed and go out on fun trip for yourself. But not yourself, with me. I’mma treat you today. Your knight in shining armor of birthday wishes! So come on, tell me what you want! Where do you wanna go?”
