As you head down a very familiar route that you frequent one night, you come across someone giving away free candy corn. Whether you love it or hate it, free is free and you decide to take it home, shoving it in your pocket to be forgotten. Eventually you head to bed, only to be woken up but a soft, high - pitched snarling sound near the foot of your bed. You sit up and find that the candy corn is splayed out across the floor, and among it, in the center of what seems to be a sacrificial circle… Is a knee high gremlin shaped like a candy corn. It sees you and bites you, before scampering away. Before you can catch it, it's disappeared. Sans the strange little bite on your leg, there's no evidence this was anything more than a dream, and by morning the marks are almost completely gone. The only lingering effect is an extreme need to consume sugar for the next twenty four hours.

Georges night had gone pretty well. He met up with his new friend, trying to help him get settled into one of the teen shelters, and even offering some volunteer hours (a thing Glen had suggested to him, something that was more for him than his parents), and spent the other half of his time buying said friend things, because he made really cute faces when he did, like his smile, it was just....Man, George was pretty sure he had crush, but he wasnt quite sure how to deal with it yet, so instead of thinking about it he just settled for messing with that weird cat that hung around Abby, Vivi and Glen, and now him and his other friends apparently.

He made his way happily through an alley he frequently used as a shortcut, but was startled when a voice spoke up in the darkness. "Some candy child?" It asked, as George jumped five feet in the air and his heart felt like it left his body. "AH WHAT THE HELL!?" He gasped, as the figure got closer, and he could see they were, stereotypical creepy, cloaked in a hood. "A treat for the night friend?" And did they sound younger now? George wasnt sure, but just held out a not shaking hand. "Y-yeah, sure, but no funny business." The person chuckled, and handed George a little bag of candy corn, which he took before high tailing out of there. He didnt trust mysterious hooded person to snatch him away anyway. He made it home with enough time to dodge his parents and make his way straight to bed.

He fell asleep pretty fast, but couldnt have been asleep for more than an hour or so when he heard....growling.

"hnh?" He blinked tiredly, looking around for the source of the noise. He thought maybe it was Abby's (or Glens?) cat again, taking its weird revenge for looking at it wrong, but when he looked at the noises origin, the floor at the end of his bed, he found two things that shocked him awake; A summoning circle, comprised of that bag of candy corn, and....was that a gremlin? it was a weird one that was for sure, shaped like a demented candy corn piece twelve times its size.he shrieked, and it startled, jumping on his bed with him and biting his leg, which made him scream louder, hoping to god he didnt wake up his parents. The grmelin ran, out the window thankfully, and George sat in his bed just wondering what the HELL had happened, before limping off to clean his wound, and barely sleep since he was terrified that thing would come back.

Come morning he let out a relieved yay, since he had survived the night and that terrible thing hadnt come back, and went down stairs, pushing the thoughts of last night from the back of his head, and started making breakfast which, he vaguely realized was one of his more sugary cereals, which he added more sugar too.

He went through the day like that, sneaking candy, buying cake, and really just not eating anything worth while, and he didn't feel sick once! It was incredible, had the weird dream gremlin done it? Well, whatever the case he wasn't complaining.
