Sorry that we haven't been able to update the gift boxes often. Will try to expand it when possible.

We are thinking of building an option to have additional avatars per account. Will share more info when we get closer to building it.

We can potentially have an icon view, easier to build without all the options to arrange and set attributes. Is that mainly for sharing or for management of wishlist items?

why can i not open my gcash 500 and 2000 cards?
those are the 2 gcash cards ranging from 200-50,000 that cannot be opened ; asked people that have these as well, they cannot open theirs either

Two weeks ago, I made a thread titled Inappropriate Avatars and Where The Line Is Drawn asking users what they thought about the ruling on inappropriate avatars. Since then, the poll has gained over 200 votes with the majority opinion being that users would like Gaia staff to be clearer on how these avatars are handled.
Given the support that the topic has received, would it be possible to rethink your position on the matter and elaborate on these rules?

We've been pretty clear about the reasons why we have given the definitions we have. A lot of what goes into judging what is inappropriate is the perceived intent. Just using an item is different than using using it with the intent to be sexual. We believe that is very clear.
In the thread, we've discussed the possibility of a dress code being established that would go into greater detail over what's accepted and what's not, as the definitions currently provided tend to be vague to many users. There's also confusion over accessibility to these rules, as the ToS is often referenced but has no clause on avatars and the threads discussing avatar etiquette are outdated and in obscure places. There is also no mention of gore when creating avatars, which is highlighted by the Images clause that's referred to in the ToS.
I did explain this previously, but the level of detail you are referring to merely would make people who like to push things say "Oh hey! They said the line is here, but I'm doing something different in my opinion!" And if that something different does cross our line they they can say "But you did not say that before therefore you can't punish me!" That is not a game we want to get into.
This will be the last word: We don't want to stifle creativity but we also can't let unregulated sexuality be on Gaia. Just because you are an adult and are not offended does not mean the parent of a 13 year old would feel the same looking at the same content. If your intent is to push the line to the point you cross it then you probably have gone too far and we will act appropriately.

Why is it thought that 50k plat cap is okay in zOMG, which is about 10x or so the cap the rest of the site activity is limited to? Why is it considered okay to give the feature that already makes currency the fastest out of any on the site a cap that is exponentially higher than the rest of Gaia gets?
This basically destroys the point of any caps. zOMG should be in compliance the the same cap as the rest of the site, or you should raise the cap for other site activity to the "around 50k" that zOMG gets. Either you care about inflation, or you don't. Just be consistent/explain, please.

Sorry for the confusion relating to the zOMG gold cap amount is. zOMG uses a different gold granting system written many years ago, and all settings need to be managed separately.
We initially received report that the gold cap was not there, which is definitely not what we want, and so a cap was put in place, and since then we had made adjustments back and forth from both zOMG players and Gaians who don't play and don't wish for the game to grant as much gold. We are still balancing the payout along with Lake Kindred, where any adjustments on both features are a contentious issue.

So, we've heard that you guys are considering potentially re-introducing [npc] interactions for the next event and events going forwards. There are some ex-mods i've seen/talked to, that may potentially be interested in applying to play some [npc] roles(some of them already having played certain roles in the past and are very knowledgeable about past events/characters) .. But have been unable to re-apply for mod positions in years, likely due to the past management.
If any of these ex-mods/staff wish to apply for an [npc] role- would you consider them? Even if they aren't currently mods? And how might they be able to apply? I just thought I'd ask.

I am not quite sure what the plans are for the event, so can't be positive we will be going in that direction. But you and any other ex-mod/staff can go ahead and inbox me and I can collect the info for the future.
Oh sorry, I know it isn't a certain thing. I just know that the last few ATS, some staff confirmed interest in doing [NPC] roleplay events again in the future. I know of at least one mod who'd like to reapply for [npc] roleplay positions if they can; but have been unable to get applications through ever since Gary's team entered the picture(they voluntarily left modding for a break before Gary showed up).

The Halloween event is well under way, but I'm hoping that the Christmas event or other events in the future can have more NPC interactions. Having Gaians be a part of the narrative definitely is part of where we want to be, we still need to figure out the process of application and selection, and we will work on a system to handle that.
I've a simple form to collect Gaian's opinions about their favorite NPC's, will share the tool with everyone later this week.

For the last two weeks I've been unable to get past the loading screen. I've cleared cookies and cache, and tried Chrome/Firefox/Edge web browsers with no luck.

I will check with Lionheart. I am not certain why LK isn't working for you but we will definitely do more checking to make sure it works 100% of the time.

It reminds me of an old bug I had because of too many kins in inventory. If you have some unused, try to store them in your storage and reload. It might or might not help.
I tried two accounts and on both I only had between 10-20 Kindred. It was never an issue before so I don't know.
I just tested your account at our office and I don't see any problems on our backend. Please check the console log on your browser's developer console if you get a chance and PM me the results. Hopefully that will point to some errors that we're not seeing at the Gaia office.

Would it be possible to, at some point, get things like healing potions available in bundled options in the in game shop? Right now, you can only buy them one at a time, which is very tedious when you're trying to stock up.
Bundles of five, ten, fifty and/or a hundred would make buying healing potions so much easier.

Any update(s) on the patch for the broken images leftover from the server switch (s.cdn and gaia.hs.llnwd.net to graphics.gaiaonline)? It was mentioned at ATS on Sept. 17th that one was being worked on.
No worries if it isn't ready yet! I understand there are bigger, more important issues.
*My threads/images have been fixed manually so I wasn't sure if anything would show up on my end or not. Hadn't seen anyone mention anything recently, either, so... dunno.

Question: Could Booty Grab get some love/attention? I've been playing since I started Gaia & it would be nice to have some new fish and new items from the drops too. Also, when I play, I earn a ton of booty and it continually comes out as just ONE for me and also for the tank owner. Could this please be fixed? Maybe even an event centered around Booty Grab like the last event was centered around Lake Kindred? Thank you for listening! smile

I love Booty Grab as a game and I've also spent many hours playing it. I can increase the platinum payout and I'll ask and see what else we can throw into the prize pool such as the higher end fishes or event items.

Hey there! So, I've been on Gaia since it's earliest days (Remade a new account a few years back) And I was wondering about something.
Provided that Chrome is removing Flash in about a year, are you guys gonna maybe take a chance and revamp the existing flash games? Like, perhaps (and this is just an idea I wanted to throw out there) making a tiny launcher separate from the browser, with new functions in the games?
The games are indeed really dated looking, and play and sound that way too. That being said, I've always seen them as an integral part of Gaia, even if they don't see as much use as they used to. I think giving them a new coat of paint and the like may just be what it needs.

We will get to convert a couple of them to HTML5, while others will not work in popular browsers when the time comes. Some others like zOMG will get it's own app if we can get the code working right.

Please PM me with some exact info on which outfit items are missing, and on which outfit. We did had some outfit related bugs a while back and I thought they're all fixed, but some might fell through the crack.
