The catacombs of Umbrionia, said to have been there since the beginning of Umbrionia, This catacombs is as big as umbrionia itself with multiple entrances, unfortunately this place is easy to get lost in due to its size but currently this place is strictly off limits to many as there is a fear of necromancers reanimating the corpses inside of the catacombs.

Shops were opening, and those that had already opened were assisting their usual patrons. He glanced at a few with a particular interest, but didn't stop. Instead, he diligently followed the Sage towards a quieter area of town, eventually nearing a graveyard. Ralian followed Lunar to a crypt, volunteering to help open the heavy stone door. He let her enter first before following, closing the door behind them.

After leaving the tavern Lunar had to use her umbrella to keep the sun away. Not that it helped much but walking through town with it helped her relax slightly. The early morning crowds were making her uncomfortable so when they walked into the graveyard where there wasn't a soul except them she relaxed slightly till she saw the door. why did it have to be a big stone door, luckily Ralian offered to open it altho she was tempted to just ask the shadows for help.
After going down some stairs they were finally in the catacombs. A place for the dead but really it felt safer to her than the city above. She turns to Ralian, "Mind showing me what you can do? If you need to you can even attack me." She would be able to see what he could do if it was an attack on her and she thought she should be able to defend herself or at very least not get to hurt. What was the likelihood he would even attack her even if she said it was ok.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The pair continued down the dark, dusty, twisting tunnels of the catacombs, which eventually opened up into a wide room, the heart of the sewers. As his mentor asked to see his abilities, Ralian felt his heart flutter in excitement as well as fear. He gulped and turned towards the Sage, and gave a small breath. "Alright, hang on..." he closed his eyes, trying to bring forth to the center of his consciousness the memories that had twisted his soul to the form she was about to see. He cracked his neck, clenching his fist. He looked up at the Sage, his eyes glowing a brilliant golden yellow. Raising his right hand a viscous black liquid emerged from the tips of his fingers. It continued to slowly pour over his hand, and as it fell off his hand, it disappeared into nothing, like it was a shadow all along. He walked towards the sage, flicking some of the liquid onto her forehead. An intense pain radiated from her forehead, but it wasn’t physical. Instead, it was as though all of the negative emotions or memories she had felt had been amplified and concentrated in one spot. The result was a burn similar to acid. Almost as soon as the magical substance had touched her skin, it dispersed and dissappeared into the air.

As she watched him she notices the shadow dripping off his hand stang she never seen shadows do that before. For her, they wrap around like blankets. Still, he watches him not really understanding what he was doing but this was the first time she ever has seen him use his magic so how would she know what it was. Then he flings some of his shadow at her forehead.
It felt like a lot of heartaches and forgotten sadness and many other messed up emotions. One might think she didn't feel anything for she remained so unmoved that it seemed like she was just rooted in the place she was standing. There was only a slight change to her face of some discomfort but nothing else. She didn't say anything either and in the cold damp catacombs, it might have seemed like forever before she finally had her emotional pain in check. "Your shadows are very different from my own." She states summon a shadow wolf that came up to her hip which she gently pats the head of. "Not only shadows but emotions. Sad ones at that."

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Malians eyes darted down to the wolf that approached out of nowhere. He gave a small smile of delight, the energy that dripped off of him and his new magical stare casting an atmosphere of insanity over his previous cool demeanour. "Different in many ways..." he began as he raised his arms, fingers writhing in an arcane manner. The viscous magic began to hover and swirl around his body, forming into long, rope-like structures. From over his right shoulder, the head of a black snake appeared and gave a loud hiss. The sound echoed through the sewer, and for a moment, Ralian could swear he heard something in response in his head. He reached up and stroked the chin of the serpent, which itself was hardly a normal creature. It's body possessed the same viscous appearance, and more of the magic dripped from its jaws. "...and in some ways, similar." Ralian lowered his hand, and the serpent crawled forward, dissappearing into the air as it did so. "I'm impressed though. To some, even a small drop of my magic can send them rearing in pain. You're very perceptive, Luna. I'm sure you can also see that I have a lot to go before perfecting my abilities."

He seemed to be able to call things from the shadows as well. That should be fun but did he feel what the shadows felt? She could tell there was a connection between him and the snake but some things did live in the shadows was it something like that or part of him? It seemed she had more questions now then she did before and that kind of made her want to stick with this kid some more. She gives a rare smile.
Then she seems to register what he was saying. "Oh, don't get me wrong that was very painful. I'm just used to hiding what I feel." She could still kinda feel it now but it was more old pain something she could easily ignore anther hit though and the pain likely would be worst than the time before. As long as she doesn't faint she would be fine. Still, if this brought about her pain did that mean he felt so much pain? "Ralian why don't we go someplace fun?" of coarse her idea of fun was the library where they meet so maybe he should choose were was fun. After all, she knows many who would think the library was a boring place.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Used to hiding what I feel. The words piqued Ralian's curiosity, but he decided to let the topic slide for now. It seemed to be too early to start prying into her past. He took another look at the shadow wolf Luna had summoned before it disappeared, interested to finally see what shadow magic looked like. As she posed a question of where to go, Ralian tilted his head, both in thought of where to go and in contemplation of the Sage's personality. "Hmm," he began, "...how about the Beach? If we left now we could possibly make it there by twilight or even night? Would be better than these catacombs, no?" Ralian started walking with Luna, making their way to stairs that led up into the city.
