The Space Cauldron As discussed with Orange, Hessonite's gonna introduce Chip to Chara! biggrin For the most part, Chip was able to keep himself pretty busy. He had his projects, of which he always had something new cooking up, his weird coffee initiative, exploring the castle, and going out on the town. But it was good, now and again, to make sure things were going well, so he found his way to General-Queen Hessonite's office in the castle, a place that he remembered rather well, all told. Once there, he did the natural thing for the tiny kitty to do. He went about letting himself in. Locks were just a small puzzle to play with, after all. Maybe she was in there, maybe not--if not, he'd have a cat nap on the center of her desk while he waited.

Lauren had paused in the middle of her paperwork when she heard someone working to break into her office, and for a moment the woman was torn between being amused and annoyed, her ruby eyes narrowing as she waited.
It wasn’t often that she kept her door locked, but when she did, it was normally understood that she did not want to be disturbed. Staying in her civilian form aided that desire for solitude, though clearly some agents did not have the intelligence needed to respect her wishes.
Well.
She would take care of that.
A moment later, the room was filled with the sudden aura of a General Queen, and Hessonite strode over to the door, opening it with a flick of her wrist, fully intending to punish whoever the idiot was who though it was a good idea to pick her lock when she saw the small, brown kitten she had brought into the Negaverse.
“Chip? What is the meaning of this?” Her voice was cold, as intended, but even now it was softening. It was difficult to be angry at such a cute creature.

Chip heard the lock release from the other side and hopped back so as to not get struck by anything. The aura told him she was definitely there! He looked up at her with a playfulness that suggested he had no idea what he was doing had upset her. He rocked himself forward, a kitty stretching, or getting ready to play pounce, sort of pose, and declared happily, “I’m checking in, General!” He popped back up into a standing position again. “Wanted to tell you about my inventions! And see if you needed me for anything.” He bounced around a little, pleased to have the opportunity to show off...even if he himself made the opportunity.

Hessonite stared down at him and slowly began to shake her head. “General Queen, Chip. I am to be called General Queen. Not simply General.”
Reaching down, she picked the cat up by his scruff and tucked him into her arms, walking carefully and slowly back into her office before putting him onto her desk and sitting heavily in her chair, watching him with an expression that was still half amused, half exasperated. “You’re such a problem child, Chip. You shouldn’t go breaking into my rooms. Save that for Axinite. If you had been anyone else I would have starseeded you and let your body rot where it lay.” While she didn’t want to frighten the small creature, she couldn’t just let him think he could break into places. There were always consequences for things, and no matter how cute he was, he had to be taught.
Perhaps only through words though. This time.
She fell quiet again, watching him and thinking about his words for a moment. Needed him for anything…perhaps if she gave him something to do, he would spend less time making mischief.
Her eyes took in his brown fur and sweet expression, and for a moment, she thought about the senshi she had just recently corrupted. “Actually, Chip. I do have a task for you. How would you like to be the companion of a senshi that just joined with us? He could use the wise advice that I know you possess. And nobody is as excitable as you are. You’ll be good for him.”
Yes, this would be good for the both of them. With a surge of power, she summoned the newly corrupted Chara to the room, her hand gently stroking Chip’s fur as she did so, softening her words of just a few moments before. It was so difficult to stay angry with him.

Chara had been doing nothing of any importance when he was summoned to his General Queen's Office. By nothing of importance, he was clearly slacking off, flipping through a food catalog and day dreaming about something better to eat than barracks food.
"What?" When he found himself before Hessonite, he blinked a few times, still unfamiliar with the whole 'sudden teleporting you to me on my own goddamn whim' bullshit.
"Did you need something?" There was something for being 'polite' with someone stronger than him, but given that he wasn't exactly on duty, and she wasn't exactly intimidating with a tiny a** kitten on her desk, Chara would take the risk of just being there as a casual friend.
After all, why would she call him to do anything when he was still figuring s**t out?
"What's with the cat?"
