Prompt: As you head down a very familiar route that you frequent one night, you come across someone giving away free candy corn. Whether you love it or hate it, free is free and you decide to take it home, shoving it in your pocket to be forgotten. Eventually you head to bed, only to be woken up but a soft, high - pitched snarling sound near the foot of your bed. You sit up and find that the candy corn is splayed out across the floor, and among it, in the center of what seems to be a sacrificial circle… Is a knee high gremlin shaped like a candy corn. It sees you and bites you, before scampering away. Before you can catch it, it's disappeared. Sans the strange little bite on your leg, there's no evidence this was anything more than a dream, and by morning the marks are almost completely gone. The only lingering effect is an extreme need to consume sugar for the next twenty four hours.

Leaena was patrolling alone yet again. But this time, most people thought that she was simply a child dressed for Halloween early. "Trying to Trick or Treat early this year?" an elderly woman smiled gently, and continued, "I don't have any candy yet, dear." Leaena nodded indulgently and moved on.

A little ways down a shadow fell across her path. She turned to see who it was and was surprised to see who it was.

Leaena grinned. It was her old friend, Sailor Echo. "Hey, Sailor Echo! What is up?" Just then a creepy old man - it was probably a costume, because Leaena didn't sense anything from him - but then she was distracted - tottered out of a nearby Halloween Store. He grinned a toothless grin at them. (Probably a costume). "You girls have the best costumes! I wish to reward you with some trick or treat candy! It's free! It's Halloween Candy Corn!" Leaena frowned. Last year, she had a bad experience with candy corn and the Halloween Magical Convergence thingy- at least that was the name Etamin was now calling it. There was also a Christmas Magical Convergence, and sometimes a Thanksgiving Magical Convergence, and rarely a Valentine's Magical Convergence. That last one hadn't been strong in several years. But heck, this was crazy.

Leaena took hers as well, warily. She nodded. She stuffed in a Senshi pocket and forgot about it. They went on their way.

That night Dani woke up to a soft, high - pitched snarling sound near the foot of her bed. she sat up and found that the candy corn had burst out of the Senshi Pocket and was now splayed out across the floor, and among it, in the center of what seems to be a sacrificial circle… was a knee high gremlin shaped like a candy corn. "By the Cauldron!" Dani cried. Everyone was out for the night or in a deep sleep, so they didn't hear when Dani transformed. She immediately summoned her Senshi Phone and called Echo, only for it to be knocked of her hand by the gremlin. There was a struggle, while the phone was still ringing.
